The cable mess was real, so bad the community demanded it be fixed! So Linus..... well he did what he does best and decided it would be great to cable manage an hour before WAN show. You can probably guess what happened next.

Same. I removed my speakers because i needed space on my table and the first day i tried to place my feet 40 times on the subwoofer but there was none. So i bought a super little chair thing so i can put my feet on it lmao. Literally became addicted to it.
I used two way tape for my power bar and the converter for my router (it's a box that converts the original connection to internet or something) and it works great, I didn't tidy up crazy because I am doing a new build soon, but it keeps all my wires away from my feet! Which was a big problem for a long time
I like to use the extra strong "velcro" stuff to mount power bricks and surge protectors to the underside of my desk.
It makes for a strong mount (similar to using nice double-side tape), but with a little more flexibility.

Painters tape and superglue is your friend. Us a good Painters tape and glue the non-adhesive sides together. I would use 2 strips made like that on the backside of the power brick and stick that to your desk. It holds amazing and the bonus is you can take it off and reposition it if you need to.

♥️💥
Single greatest video ever made by LTT. Make Linus do more of these!
There is a nice trick which might work nicely for sticking things up under the table (like powerbricks you mentioned) which comes from knifemaking when there is a need to align handle for drilling holes and then easily get rid of connection without damaging or contaminating any surface. Instead of using the glue itself, which might not hold easily to different surfaces and leave marks, they stick the tape for both metal and wood (like a silvertape or any other, whichever works best) and than apply super glue in-between them. The connection is super strong, if you want to get rid of it you can just twist it to break the bond but the cherry on top is that after breaking you can just peel the tape off and you have no marks on any surface (brick and table in this case). Hope it would be helpful for someone's cable management project :)

8:50-9:35 Have you guys at LTT considered using CAD and a 3D printer to make small, drill-able cable hooks for independently routing wires, and a fitting slide-in brace for whatever model of surge protector you use? It took a lot of trial and error but that's what worked for me was effectively small hooks with a hole and a box at the surge protector's measurements for it to slide in like a holster, then drilled underneath the desk as well.

My man, buy rolls of hook n loop/velcro with sticky back (make sure it's rolls so you can cut your own lengths. You can then put wires between the hook n loop and the you can add and subtract wires and even move mounting points anywhere super quick and easy. I buy an industrial grade meant not to leave residue. Is also works great for mounting bricks and power strips to the bottom or backside of desk. Super useful stuff.
Lil drilling tip. After you've managed to start drilling a slightly larger hole and the bit hard stops, hitting your monitor. Restarting can be easier if you run the bit backwards for a second. That hard stop is the bit digging instead of cutting. The back ward drilling will smooth out the dig spots and make mid hole restarts easier.
