This is way off but your nails look so good in that matte purple. Now I can't wait to order these. I get to buy a huge cart with my tax refund so I've added all 3 tins in there. I'm super excited. I couldn't believe how cheap these are to be so vivid and pretty these all look. And your page is great!!
I love there’s pencils there is another set called dragon coming out I’ve got to get them and skin tones dark and light and I’ve got the Monarch set two they are lovely to work with xx 🦋😅🥰xx
I bought these 3 sets, because they look badass and i look cool using it. Lol my husband was laughing at me because i used crayola colored pencil. I have edema on my hands and feet and it helps me color my books because its light and creamy, unlike crayola. So yeah.. I love it.

Thanks for the review. I have been curious about the three sets. I like fact that company has listened to their customers. The first set had no names and came in a cardboard box. They look so much nicer now. I definitely want them.
Another fabulous review Claire 🙏👏 I agree with the other comment that your voice is lovely to listen too.💖😍 I can also recommend a mechanical sharpener if anyone has issues with broken leads, I’ve actually never had one break. I have a Staedtler but I think any brand would be just as good .🌹
Brilliant review, it's nice to see a picture done to see how they perform :) If you want them a lot cheaper, I have seen a few swatch reviews, and the Castle Art are identical to these but a fair bit cheaper :)

Thank you for another awesome review! I saw this and bought my first set. I got the Cobra set and will no doubt be getting the other sets as I can. I'm hoping to start a page with them after I finish a page I'm coloring right now. I have the Prismacolor Premier 120 set and I just don't like them. I prefer my Polychromos instead. But these seem to lay down color easier than even the Polychromos. As always Happy Coloring!
I bought all three tins but my black widows weren't in a tin but a box instead and they weren't numbered. So I made my own chart and numbered them myself. Now I'm stressed because my numbers don't match the actual numbers... and my colour names are orange, light orange etc instead of Pumpkin and Toadstool. It sends me a little nuts, but I have to deal with it because I'm not buying them again. It's really putting my OCD to task! haha Great review! Thanks for posting!

I am saddened to say My daughter ordered a full set of prismacoloured pencils from eBay for me which as you know are well over a hundred pounds but it looks like they have taken her money and no pencils ☹️. eBay are investigating. I thought these black widows would be a good decent set to start with. Love your tutorials Claire, your pace, voice and amazing talent are just perfect. Love watching and listening to your tutorials 👍🏼😘
Claire I love these pencils and I have Caran d ache, Prismacolor, Lyra Polycolor! I got way more pencil than I expected for the price! The colors are vibrant they lay down beautifully! The only problem is I can’t find the Scorpion Set!!!!! Can you help me with this?
I wouldn't say they are a budget pencil, mid-range is what I have heard. They are available in open stock. The lightfastness tests are being done as we speak and take time. An Australian pencil put together by a fellow who works in the medical industy. He felt colouring in would be good for peoples health. There are two other sets of twelve pencils each, they are for light and dark skin tones. Each set is less in price to the other sets. Would love to see you do a demonstration of both. If, by chance the lettering disappears, why not put a coloured sticker dot on the pencil to represent the colour. Also regarding the number of layers wouldn't the choice of paper play at least 50% in that
Nice efficient review! I just got the Black Widow set, but as a picture of a cobra on the front??? I think that's a little weird. Especially after seeing the tens that you have. What do you think of that?
The brand of the pencils is black widow, and you got the cobra set. All of them say black widow on them but the set is determined by the picture from my understanding.

It’s silly really, but I don’t like them because they are black with no colour markings and I hate spiders 🕷 there’s no way I want that looking at me. I suspect I’m not alone. Seems like a polarising marketing decision to me. I’m glad you like them and gave them a good review, but urgh! Not for me for all the wrong reasons. You are right about Ergosoft. I do like them, they are my “take out with me on trips” pencils because loosing them wouldn’t matter. But they are very scratchy and hard and the cores could hardly be any thinner.
Sue Wilkinson I didn’t say you where dumb I said the idea is dumb and frankly I don’t like your comment it’s really rude and yes I am sure there’s plenty of dumb things I don’t like and also my best friend is scared of spiders so I am not saying it’s dumb I just think it’s kinda dumb to be scared of them ok some people honestly

I also think people's irrational fears of spiders is just silly. They were made by a man. Why should he put flowers or something on the tin? NOt everyone who colors and does art is a woman, or a woman who only likes frilly girly things. I think the covers are unique and I love the sleek look of the black pencil and how they feel in the hand.
Just bought a tin of the Black Widow pencils and have to say I'm very disappointed. They're beautifully presented, have fantastic quirky names and I really wanted to love them. But it's like colouring with children's crayons. I tried Strathmore bristol vellum and even the pastelmat I use for my pastel work but it felt like trying to draw on shiny magazine paper. Didn't do it for me I'm afraid.
Isn't it interesting how different creatures freak us out? I ordered some of the Koh I Noor tritones a while back and there was an ugly big goldfish drawing on the back of the tin. I walloped all the pencils into pots and chucked rhe offending tin in the bin in seconds. The way I cope with orange aquatic beasts in colouring books? Lots of blue, pink and hot pink fish instead.

I actually use a prismacolor manual sharpener that came in a set with an eraser and a blender, and it works great on these pencils.

My pencils have been coloured at the base of the pencil. Maybe I have a new addition
