Thanks bro! To answer both, yes. DRLs are proven to help other drivers see you during the day and they also look amazing in person. They do provide a little extra light but I would categorize them more under the aesthetics dept. You could put them in the bumper and wire an external power and ground to them, but I would just grab some posi taps and hook them up if you go that far. I’ll continue to add some vid clips of them in various lighting conditions. Lights are just kind of hard to film and look much better in real life

Yeah that’s the only thing I’m a not a fan of. The DRLs and bumper removal as super easy. I suggest posi taps like the JB4 comes with. If I would have know I would have got those and cut the ends of the DRLs off. Posi tap leaves a tiny pin hole in the wire too so if you have to remove it , it will be fine. With these, once you remove them the wire snap I can almost guarantee that
My Mitshimoto Intercooler is Silver. I should have of went Black but they were out of stock at the time because mine is Ceramic Silver. U don't see it to much once bumper is back on but Black is fire. Silver on black car maybe the way to go
Nice video. However, I would never use those connectors, the wire tap clips to use the same terms you did. I understand they are easy to use, but they are just not as stable as a properly done connection.
I agree, I ended up soldering them and suggested posi taps instead of t taps like I mention towards the end, the t taps def suck and are open to corrosion.
CPI is legit, esp more more ethanol , would make some real power. I’m I interested in getting my car on the AWD dyno I found. We’ve had pretty brutal winter as far as content goes , but the nice weather is right around the corner
Hey! That was a DIY Plasti Dip. Super easy and looks like a OEM matte black one. If you do that just make sure you put like 7 coats on so it won’t come off when you wash it
@@chobe6740 no it peels off and is not permanent. Pros would be it’s cheap, easy DIY and lasts long (depending on how you treat it) . Cons it can peel up in spots if not applied thick or even. It can give the appearance of being painted or wrapped if applied right
I'm curious to know after you installed your air intake snorkels, what was your best time 0 to 60, did you notice any improvements? I'm running a 2021, G70, 3.3t, Burger JB4, Denso plugs 5346, PNP fuel wire adapters, AEM HP dry air filters.
So we have the exact same setup, the snorkels did lower the intake temps an avg of 15 degrees. Measured this by using JB4 to read IATs before and after the install. But after all the mods and even with e30 as daily fuel in map 3, my best 0-60 was 4.3. This is bc of the factory TCU, there’s about a 1 second delay off the line and I’m AWD. I know this powertrain is capable of 0-60 in 3.5 as is. I did get 3.8 with using the parking brake to build some boost and simulate a TCU kinda, but that’s so hard on it and I’ve only done it a couple times. You have a slight edge over me bc you are a little lighter on curb weight . Are you AWD or RWD?
@@twn2rbo I am RWD only. I didn't feel the need living is S. Florida no snow here lol. I'm also running 93 octane mix with E85. Apox E30 blend. My air intakes air stock with the stock cold air intake, I did Change out the stock air filter to HP AEM dry air filters. What is your opinion on installing BMS air intakes. I'm crossed between the fact that removing the cold air stock air intake boxes and installing BMS or K&N complete air intakes inhales more hot air from being exposed to the engine heat. I guess putting the snorkels in will force more colder air in but it doesn't make sense if the air filter are not boxed in to only receive air from the snorkels. My Dyno was 400 WHP and max torque 425 @4300 rpm. I'm running stock downpipes. Did you change out your downpipes? I also installed the same Michellin tires but a softer compound rubber. Is it possibe to change the headlights with them of the 2.5 Stinger? I think they look better, reminds me of Porsche... The Stinger 2.5 in Ascot Green would be my choice. Unfortunately we get "only" the 3.3 in Germany with very small exhaust tips 😫🤷♂️ And we pay about $10/gallon. No speed limit on the Autobahn my ass 😪

IF YOURE GOING TO MOD THIS CAR do the JB4/EWG and your plugs first. I did intakes first and had misfires and a rental for a week. I put the ss mbrp catback on two weeks ago and yesterday it cut power in 3rd gear and threw a cel. P0234. Overboost. The only answer to that is a jb4 so it's limp mode til I find time to swap plugs. This doesn't happen on all stingers and most will tell you CAI/exhaust is fine but I promise you this car does not give a fucking fuck about what everyone else is doing. Do everything you can to stay away from the dealership. After you explain to them what a kia stinger is they'll just replace parts that aren't broken. I can't wait to teach them about gapping spark plugs.
Yeah I made a vid like that early on when I first started this channel. My order was intakes , no issues, cat back second then stated having overboost limp mode issues, then I did plugs and JB4 and never had an issue since. I’ve never thrown a CEL, but I agree, if this car is modded it needs to be tuned. I have the EWG’s still sitting in office, I plan to play in map 6 with those this summer when I turn stuff up a little bit after the TCU.

A lot of stock cars have had this issue too. I fucking love this car and if done right the whole process can be super smooth

Interior rattles and clear coat are my only issues w the car. Other than that the power and drive train are solid
