I like this version, is cool. I like to see and listen to Brian. His voice is beautiful like him. Love him, because is charming and handsome, but the most important he is a talented and smart man.
Unfortunately he overextended his sweet vocal cords on another song and struggled after that point. He's got a great voice but he needs to pick the songs that show it off. The guitar work for this concert left me breathless. It is Brian unleashed!
0:09 - 0:49 A pure masterclass performance with the guitar from the greeatest guitar player in the last 50 years. This is the part of the video that I like very much.
I knew that this man could sing as he's sang back up vocals on many of Queen's hits, and has sang these blissfully soothing lead vocals on other songs ('39, Good Company, Leaving Home Ain't Easy, All Dead All Dead, etc) but daaaaaamn. Still surprises me when I find a vid of him singing like this!😍
I never understood why they didn’t continue with Brian and Roger sharing vocals rather than bringing in other singers. They are both great vocalists and have that authentic Queen sound.
People were overwhelmed. I was there for this tour. . LA @ The Palace.. Blew all the wannabe hair bands through the back wall of the the building. Stunned barely describes it afterwards. Plus the working bands that were there like us. Having seen Queen 10 times since the legendary Hoople tour. Yup.
Holy hell, Even watching this on my pathetic samsung phone the drums inexplicably explode like savage thunder out of my pathetic phone speakers as if it was in my living room. That war cry of "tonight" by May at the end would've made Mercury proud.
You try to crack a joke, and there are always some UA-cam dumbasses who don't get it. Yes, Delilah and Rads, I'm looking at you, and the idiots who upvoted your comments.
I disagree it would have been better. They could even have gone back to their old name Smile. John Deacon might not have left cos it wasn’t Queen and you’d still have all 3. Who wants to live for ever is hauntingly beautiful sung by Brian especially as it was so close to Freddie dying.
I know I'm gonna get flamed by a lot of Freddie Mercury fans, but I actually love this better than Queen. It's a lot heavier when paired with a couple of musicians from Black Sabbath and Whitesnake, with 2 great female back up vocalists!
Brian could have been a superstar on his own or as the front man of a band instead of being part of Queen and would have still been a superstar, he is super talented. But I would much prefer Queen with Brian May than without.
Did you notice what he says at the beginning? It seemed like a dream, or he said "Freddie for you"? If that's the case, then that's so cute. He dedicated the song to his late friend. In the performance of which we all know her, Brian, you are a bun with poppy seeds.

He also does this same kind of riffing in 1986

Damn, he is even singing.
The man is a virtuoso.
I love this version because here the original version of Rock You and the faster version that Queen performed from 1977-1982
Damn those bass drums of Cozy s are like an earthquake ! Superb stuff.
Sir Dr Brian May is such a freaking legend!!! ♥️👑🎤🎸
Wowwwww the fast version of WWRY! Awesome
I never understood why they didn’t continue with Brian and Roger sharing vocals rather than bringing in other singers. They are both great vocalists and have that authentic Queen sound.
Exactly. The two of them could do which parts suited them more.
Exactly
We Will Rock You 0:00
We Will Rock You [Fast Version] 2:00
Powerful drumming from the late, great Cozy Powell! Whole band is rocking!
probably my favorit drummer.
The king of the music forever !!! :-)
The Brian May band was better than any Queen + show. Saw them 4 times. Brilliant shows.
What a genious
Great concert ... glad to been there! ♥
Lucky dog!!

Smart of Brian to make two attractive women stand in the front of the stage
Yes because he doesn't have the singing abilities that Freddie had. Great guitarist but not a great singer like Freddie.
@@neilfoord11 what the... ooookay xD I'd take Bri lol
Neil Foord m8 chill

I wish they’d bring back the fast version of we will rock you
I like how it segues to the fast version
Is it just me, or did I see a look of sadness on the face of Brian at the end of this show?
I’m sure he is sadden by the situation, but he must carry on. He has written so many beautiful songs ballads.
I guess he`s tired and exhausted after the show, which is predictible.
His divorce and his father's and Freddie's deaths affected him. And latter Cozy Powell death :(
Legend
This guy is pretty good. His guitar playing sounds just like Queen's version.
He is the guitarist from queen
Are you a fucking idiot?
You try to crack a joke, and there are always some UA-cam dumbasses who don't get it.
Yes, Delilah and Rads, I'm looking at you, and the idiots who upvoted your comments.
I wonder why...
More like fucking legendary.
He is just the best of them all

Genius
They’ll live forever
Adam Lambert is ok, but shit Brian and Roger would have been fine on their own.
In the early 2000s, for sure. And maybe some special shows nowadays. But their rigorous touring would damage their voices I believe.

666mathew Freddie preferred it before you were born, so I guess you're both disappointed.
I'm a Freddie fan too and I love Brian May, we really discover him with this band ! Savage !!
Fully agree.

amazing
*the problem is that they’re doing radio gaga*
It doesn't matter. UK fans have been used to it.
Class!

You should get your hearing checked then, coz he actually said 'ohh it's real'
@@davebain1982I'm pretty sure he didn't say that.

SUPER KONCERT BRIANA MAYE
News of the world vibes~~~
Speed version!!!
wish he'd sang the three verses
He sang 2 verses in the slow version and other 2 in the fast version.
O filme que se deve passar na mente do Brian, sem o Freddie...
I couldn't see Roger and John in this video, anyone could answer me please?
May lene they weren’t in this video john had already left the band but would be back in 1997 for no one but you
@@lukelawson1887 oh i see, thank you!

And Roger also did some solo stuff at the time
NFAA 5 this was in 1993, plus I think this is his solo project.

Guitar god
Read Brian's Wikipedia - Blew my mind !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who is the other guitarist?
The credits are at the end of the Hammer to Fall clip (ua-cam.com/video/ushMc3oof-c/v-deo.html).
The guy is called Jamie Moses.
