Horus being the warmaster was important here as well I think just because he had control of more of the logisitcs of the forces, which means it was easier to stymie the loyalists, even after he turned traitor. Or at least gave him time to set up for the heresy (though I'm not sure how much time he'd actually have had, in universe.)
For HH we still miss the Sicaran variants as core units in plastic. We can make all Predators, but I need some Omegas for Death Guard and Punishers for Imperial Fists!
Command Squad kit is coming in 3 different boxes: a box with just the sprue, a box with the sprue and 5 MKIII marines + accessory sprue, and a box with the sprue and MKVI marines + accessory sprue.
One big thing we're still missing is the plastic CCW sprue that was in last years roadmap. One concern i have is that it talks about no more releases til second half of the year. Does that mean the Command Squad, Hibuo Khan etc won't be out until July or later?
Have to disagree that the command squad helmets don’t look good on Sons of Horus. These are almost the same exact helmets the Luna Wolves have on the cover of False Gods. They’re romanesque helmets rather than knightly helms, so they fit very well for most of the legions, barring maybe Dark Angels, Space Wolves and White Scars.
The book is hilarious. The Khan getting into a fistfight with Haar. The Ebon Keshigs being his bodyguards, even though they are disgraced Kharash in the proper lore. Suddenly a fight between the Khan and Horus is canon? Hilarious in how over the top and often downright wrong this book is.
Aye there's a lot wrong with the lore. Pretty sure than none of the Ebon Keshig or Sagyar Mazan make it to Terra (and Beta Garmon) after the events of Path of Heaven. The lore laughably talks about the Ebon Keshig being the Khans great bodyguard, equal to the Justerian....just not true. Someones also pointed out to me that by the dates of Beta Garmon that Meduson is already dead. Can't remember if thats true or not.
@@pascal9055aren’t they all penitent at this point, since the khan has gone off-roster and is willing acting outside of his orders and endangering his own existence, therefore Terra too?
The headset makes it like Lee’s real job is offensive coordinator for Chicago Bears
That explains why play calling was so bad the last 3 years 😂

I need a plastic Arcus to run with my pair of Scorpius because I need to downsize my friend group.

Absolutely good point. I think I just like my Sons of horus helms to be spikey!

@@cerrilove700 even if some new ones were formed for new acts of dishonor, it’s laughable to assume they’d serve as the Khan’s honor guard.

@@rogaldorn8519 Sure. But they’re still in disgrace. Not his guard. Their job is to find an honorable death like a Slayer dwarf from fantasy.
