Loving all the ideas! For the bike army question, I honestly think all bikes need to get Battle Hardened (1) as a special rule to compensate for the loss of the bonus Toughness and save. They're fewer points, sure, but they're so expensive and susceptible to instant death, I think that would make bike armies (especially Outrider armies) more viable. And the talk of the Palisade Drop Pod also made me think that flyers could really use a rule to make them Shrouded on the turn they arrive. Augury Scanners are just too cheap and effective, so flyers need something to make them somewhat survivable to Interceptor if we ever want to see them on the table.
The missing list is too long to mention. But here's a few of my top picks: -Replace ALL of the old shorter Characters with the new True Scale minis. -Mk4 Marines in true scale, including Jump Troops. -Finish making Praetors for all the Legions that don't have them. -Special & Heavy Weapon kits for newer Mk3 bodies. Less important, but Mk2 & 5 kits would be nice. Cheers.
For Saturnine Terminators, I'd like to see them include the additional gun placement on top they are sometimes depicted with). Also, another round of Exemplary Battle PDFs wouldn't go amiss, but I really want that Destroyer RoW!
Saturnine terminators have never actually been depicted and have no canonical look, many people wrongly believe the art based on the original terminator model with the huge shoulders is called saturnine, however it isnt and actually has no canonical name, we also don't know what the vulkan pattern terminator armour is suppose to look like also
I have to admit while you were discussing a 5-man fast transport I was just there going "Land Speeder Storm!" Until it actually got mentioned haha. I have to admit a recon squad all hanging off one of those things would look badass. Also while Blood Angels already have a fair amount of stuff I'd like to see a Baal predator (kinda got the turret for one recently) and a Librarian Dreadnought as apparently Blood Angels learned how to make these from the Thousand Sons so libby dreads must predate the Heresy.
Great, now I want a 1000 point army of 5 men veteran/seekers/recon squads, with some 5 men support/heavy weapon squads riding into battle on Land Speeder Storms (or equivalents).... :D
I think super heavies aren’t good because the firepower isn’t in line with the points. If it’s a 600 point tank then it should be killing a 100 point unit a turn, especially when any lascannon squad can easily destroy a super heavy and often have superior firepower to the super heavy.
Things I want we haven't seen yet: •Actual inductii, rather than renamed legion special units •Fast transports based on the sabre and sicaran chassis •A cheaper transport for a few (say 5-7) bulky models, perhaps based on the arquitor chassis •An infantry transport with an assault ramp (could be combined with the sicaran transport above) •Worthwhile fortifications •Whisper-cutters •Quad heavy stubber rapiers for the auxilia/militia •Multilaser tarantulas for the auxilia •Rotor cannon tarantulas for the legions •Lightning Crow fighters •Talion gunship for the Sisters of Silence •Grav-raider for the Custodes •Stand-alone legion techmarine with servitors to repair vehicles rather than join squads •Arvus Lighter gunships for the auxilia (or just give the regular arvus its gun option back!) •Scout bikers
And some legion specific things I think would be cool: •Salamander flamer squad that can combine their fire into a hellstorm template •Dark angels deathwing melee squad in power armour, similar to the templar bretheren •Iron warriors storm squad with shotguns or shrapnel bolters and breaching 6+ melee weapons •Sons of Horus tunnel rats •Salamanders melee squad with deflagrate weapons •Combi-bolter tactical support squad (who can take bayonets) •Night lords biker unit with lances •Auxilia/militia squad with special heirloom weapons •Mechanicum assault transport
I would like to see a non legion specific variant of the gorgon terminator.(I know about the recent 40K terminator but I want horus heresy scaled version of them)
I would love to see heavy weapon terminator squads. Maybe a precursor to 40k Centurions. 5 terminators all armed with twin linked heavy weapons (1 per arm). BS4 and W2.

Regular Breachers should be able to take bayonets or chain bayonets and ignore the two-handed restriction just for those weapons. Think Astartes Hoplites shield walling forward instep.
The Word Bearer Elite Terminators were my suggestion... I just want something to convert my cataphractii into. GV also don't have an invun or a 2+, so would add some assault variety, and give a chance to use the spartan too. Apparently that makes me greedy 😂😂
Bit late to the party, but I disagree about artillery. I think they are weak and overcosted. Their weakness causes Militia and Auxilia to just fall behind the Marines. It also forces them to take their one good gun (Vanquisher). IMO they should have two shell types: Battle cannons should be large blast breaching 6+ or small blast breaching 4+. Demolisher cannons should be large blast rending 6+ or small blast rending 4+. Earthshakers should be large blast breaching 6+ or small blast breaching 4+. Medusas should be large blast rending 5+ or small blast rending 3+. It would give them tactical choices in play. It would give them some way of taking on power armour. It is not an auto include. It would open options and allow varied lists. Other comparable guns exist for similar points. It could be mitigated against, with transports, Heavy units, invulnerable saves, cover saves and fortifications.
Watch packs were in the Heresy and present on the Red Tear at Signus. It’s alluded the Blood Angels started eating them at one point in Book 8. Space Wolves have a Rite of War for it.

Yes it needed a nerf but the current one is too much for all the demolisher/basilisk/médusa They should get a breaching 4/5 at least And for the demolisher bring back the old template but breaching 4 and no brutal for instance Reducing the cost is not good fluff wise, an artillery piece is supposed to do damage! Plus if you buff artillery, it can be way to prevent people from spamming heavy support unit all the time...
It would be great to see those Hussar Bikers come back now that the snub rotor cannons would actually have a use. Also, and not really the point of the ep i know, but give bikes Bulky!
I am a 30K Raven Guard collector, and I can’t think of a single thing we’re missing 🤣 Obviously just kidding- luckily I’m mainly a hobbyist and really enjoy converting/kitbashing and painting. I’ve converted almost every Consul type, not that I need them to play (I’ve never actually played 30K, 40K, or anything else), but just out of the challenge of doing so. I’ve bought two sets each of the Mor Deythan and Dark Furies, one of which I built the way they appeared on the website, and the second I converted into either different poses or special characters. I can’t believe just how many characters, units, etc that Legions like the Sons Of Horus have been given, and how severely lacking many other Legions are. I had thought a few years back that I would probably enjoy starting another Legion, and was really looking at the XVIth, but I just couldn’t face having that many units available. It was overwhelming. Hopefully, GW/FW will get on the ball and provide some love to all of us who struggle to fill out our armies. Until then, it’s going to be a whole lot of Xacto, Green Stuff, and buying other models I don’t want just to scavenge their bits. Thanks for the great video, gents! Edit: I didn’t answer the question clearly, but I’d love to see every Legion have a standard and a Terminator Praetor, at the very least.
Love the veteran version of all the different 'line' units. On the subject of Terminators and Veteran Terminators, if they moved vanilla termies over into the HS slot. Then you could put the veterans in the Elites!
I remember seeing rules for Destroyer Terminators once! They included rules for Saturnine armour, and every guy started off equipped with 2 Volkite Chargers!! I thought they were so cool since they would provide players with a more range focused terminator unit!! I believe they could swap out their chargers for flamers, and other special weapons! I think the Saturnine Armours rules were along the lines that you described. Tougher, but not due to the Invulnerable!
Midtier transport was me. I was more thinking something light and fast for an assault/despoiler type unit. Right now if you want to transport them is 250 points for a Land Raider to have assault options, which feels like overkill for a 100-150 point unit. Something cheaper and lighter that they can assault from....the Sicaran was just a suggestion for what already exists as a midsized tank bigger than a rhino. Not necessarily a fast vehicle (to avoid that Turn 1 charge) but maybe around 100-125 points to make it halfway between the cardboard box that is the rhino and the Land raider
What about an infantry fighting vehicle style sicaran, transport capacity no assault ramp but close range fire support. Mimicking something like the modern Bradley.
@@medheadfulwell you cant disembark if it moves over half can you? So even if it was a M12 vehicle it cant move over 6" and disembark, so slows it down. Make a single acess point at the rear and itd slow people down even more unless you want to flash its weaker armour at the enemy, or a hullmounted weapon then cant shoot at enemy?

Their dream is to give World Eaters two or three new combat units cos they dont already have enough but Word Bearers getting unique Terminators as the only Legion that dont have any is laughable cos they already have 1 combat unit. Also the chip on your shoulder about Deepstriking is incredible. Anything that might make it better is the devil. Suprised you didnt just advocate giving everyone augury scanners for free.

We actually just did it as a way of introducing cool units we would like to see as well as units that are missing. We are limited on time so can't do EVERY legion in detail but we were pretty comprehensive in our list. Please also remember that most of these were community ideas. Furthermore, we came up with an actual idea for word bearers terminators. Did you want us to make them super amazing with WS5? Perhaps they should be the best terminators in the game? Word Bearers also have access to ashen circle as well deamons in various forms. What would you do differently? As for deepstriking, again you've slightly mischaracterised what we said. But you have your opinion and we have ours and that's all cool bro. Heresy Hammer is a safe space and we actively encourage challenge and disagreement. Along with that though we expect feedback to be constructive. There has been mention of two other Dreadnought chassis in the Black Books that dont have models plus the DA Excindio battle automata have no model!
The vulkan termitor and dreanaught pattern also don't have models sadly, would love to see them
