I think the pandemic changed their stance (even though they said that during the pandemic). Realizing that they can't see anybody else or go anywhere, it made sense for them to do videos together.
Deli, thats not a knife sharpener! It's a knife "honer" but really it just destroys knives lol. You should get some whetstones for knife sharpening, or maybe you can even take them to a knife shop nearby where you can get them sharpened! Love you guys! Great video! We need a knife redemption video!!
A ceramic sharpening rod is a good option too. It is a bit simpler to use than a whetstone, so it is good for beginners. It can reshape the metal to make it sharper, but you still need to get them sharpened every once in a while. It saves knives and money.
I’d also like to state that that is an Asian knife and needs to be sharpened at a tighter angle than a regular knife, and using that “sharpener” ruins the blade because it’s not sharpening at the angle it needs. Good luck ! Keep all your fingers please !!
How to use the knife sharpener: 1. If it's really blunt, use "1" about 3 to 6 times and then use "2" at least a couple of times 2. For each hour or two of use you want to sharpen it again using only "2" to keep it sharp Hope that helps 😂
I laughed through this whole video. Your energy together in the kitchen is very sweet, funny, and entertaining. PLEASE make more cooking videos together.

Lais Julliard It’s not vegan, due to the ghee (clarified butter) and the cheese they added at the end. I think it’s a recipe that tries to incorporate more vegetables, maybe to try to hide the vegetables for kids to eat it?
How to dice an onion: 1. Cut vertically toward the root, while keeping the root in tact. 2. Rotate the onion 90 degrees and cut horizontally (perpendicular to your first cuts) from the bottom up towards the root. Discard the root. Boom, diced.

Also it tripped me out hearing you guys refer to butternut squash as a pumpkin. Guess that’s just another thing different between the US and Australia.
Also, because you asked for what we would want to see from you.... James' LEGENDARY Alfalfa Sprouts Sandwich! Y’all were so close with sharpening the knife 😅 You were right, do #1 the coarse slot, then #2 the fine slot. The process is essentially like filing your nails, or filing down wood, or anything for that matter, into a shape, first grind it down with the coarse side (slot #1), then smooth it down with the fine side (slot #2). The first slot is the coarse slot, the sound it was making was fine, it’s supposed to grind like that, but you can pull it through faster than you did lol. The coarse slot essentially reshapes the blade, grinding off the dullness, and bringing back the sharp edge. Should pull it through that slot 3-6 times (depends on how dull it is). Next you run it through the fine slot, this’ll actually smooth out the blade of any roughness, do this a couple times. THEN, you need to wash the blade off of all the lingering shredded knife bits. Things to consider: 1) You can use the JUST the #2 slot/fine slot to sharpen knives on a regular day to day basis 2) test knife sharpness by holding up a piece of paper and try slicing through it through the edge. Smooth, relatively easy cut= knife is sharp. If not, the knife needs sharpening 3) when sharpening make sure you follow the curve of the blade 4) don’t hesitate pulling the blade through, go ahead and go for it! Like one of my professors would say “do it with confidence!” 5) wiki how has some more detailed instructions and images that may make more sense 😅
