I didn’t have the chili sauce that this recipe called for. I used the sweet chili sauce. All I can say is I’m in LOVE with this recipe. I’ve made in twice within 7 days! It’s delicious!
@@rickyfitness252 Not everyone can safely eat animal protein. I grew up eating a lot of beef (farmer’s daughter here) and ate mostly fish and fowl once I was out on my own. Not every day, though. When I turned 70, I developed a gallbladder problem, and my surgeon said I needed to cut out fat and cholesterol. Well, duh. I realized that meant meat, cheese, other dairy, and junk food. I couldn’t have surgery, so I decided to try and heal the gb with diet. Plant-based worked almost immediately, and I don’t have problems, because I remember how badly it hurt when I ate meat and junk. It’s not worth it. I do eat the occasional egg, and I have an ounce or two of roasted turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. That’s about it. I’m very lucky to love lentils, beans, tofu, nuts, seeds, etc.

Ive watched a good number if your videos and was surprised to find i have most of the ingriedients on hand. I am concerned about not having enough protein but I really want to try a plant based diet. That salad is sublime, and I’m sad corn is out of season now. Darn, now I’m hungry. I wonder if I’ve got tofu…

If you eat a variety of plants - beans, grains, veggies, fruits, etc. - you'll be healthy, and you can eat all you want, the fiber keeps you full.
