    I am triggered for Julian, he’s so composed and such a kind soul. Bill was so obnoxious. You can feel how different their auras are. Bill didn’t listen to Julian, put down his beliefs, and talked over him the whole time. Bill just fan-girled over the Beatles the whole time. Bill never asked Julian about HIS music, HIS photography, HIS philanthropy. I wonder if Julian felt like he wasted his time. Julian is so cool!! I respect him so much.

      @justme33126 3 місяці тому +14

      @leeannemasserang217 Yes I agree. It was all about the Beatles. Even after Julian said "Hey Jude" was connected with his father leaving the family, Bill still harped on about Paul "come on he wrote you a song!". Very insensitive. He even presumed he could decide the title of Julian's book; again relating it to the Beatles, not to Julian. And who so disrespectfully asks "how big is your d..k?" in an interview? That was sooo extremely rude! I don't like that guy at all. He's repugnant.

    A near 2 hour interview, and other than him living now in Monaco, his bouts of depression, and his deep love for his mother. I cant say for a 60 year old man, who has made his way through life. That I learned anything about him. It was more a rehash of his fathers life,with him looking visibly bored and irritated, going through it all again. What a missed opportunity to of ignored his own...achievements ,and life story,out of his fathers shadow. Hopefully a better interviewer can find out about this nice man in his own right.

    As a musician and singer, Julian was the real deal. Very talented and not just because he had some similarities with his father. You got to give a good performance on stage and hold a crowd in the moment and he could do that. He had presence and appeal in delivering his songs as well as the musical talent. Also thought his recent live "Imagine" performance was clutch, he nailed it. I think it is great that he does not pay much attention anymore how the public reacts to his actions or inactions. (Yes, Paul and John were great in Get Back, and their relationship was great and it is a great memory piece, but George was super clutch with his guitar parts and getting Billy Preston to play in the band and contribute to the instrumentals like George. George was not as playful and exuberant but he still delivered. Without Billy's organ, I don't know how good it would have been, especially the concert on the roof. Ringo created his parts and also was a stable positive emotional support to the whole group. Don't expect anyone to agree with me, everyone has their opinion.)

    I've been a Julian fan since the '80's. It's too bad his relationship with John wasn't great for most of his life. Cynthia really did an amazing job raising Julian - he seems to be such a nice man.

      Yoko would never have let John see Julian, just like she tried to stop him seeing Paul.

      If you get a chance to see May Pang's new documentary, you'll find he did see John quite a bit in the mid 70's - Julian & May are friends to this day @@jeanmyers1787
