I can't believe how effortless that looked, minimal shaking for driver and instructor everywhere and then 'that was 160' gets casually mentioned. No talking necessary, what a car, cheers
Peter, did you notice that Harry Metcalfe did a small cameo appearance over your right shoulder when you were in the pits, when your door was open on the McLaren, just before the end of another excellent video.
@PetrolPed One day, Peter, you and Harry should do a sit-down chat video about the passion for cars you both share. I think it would make a very interesting discussion. Just a thought!
Really loved the video showing what a tremendous performance car this is. But and it’s a big but this manufacturer has been tarnished by very poor reliability, not helped by some under performing dealerships, and the resulting terrible residual values. Hopefully McLaren’s new warranty policy will now support their customers and as long as their reliability vastly improves this car will become much more desirable. We all want McLaren to do well so let’s keep our fingers crossed but only time will tell !
I was breathless merely watching you! What a thrill to watch you drive a car like this in its natural environment. The thing I see is that...driving to and from the track is lovely, too. Another great track day for the record books, Mr. Ped! Mahalo!
So the big question, now they seem very reasonable on the used market at mo, almost obtainable! (With Man maths! )same as me, would you change your 718 boxter for a 720s spider? Still bit jumpy about depreciation and bits breaking but oh wow! what cars!
One of your best videos You really brought it across and I could see that you were genuinely blown away by it. Obviously far to quick for the public roads
Hey Ped, the car looks so amazing, what a colour and what lines and have to say that I could see your confidence grow as soon as the tyres warmed up and a truly stellar couple of laps by yourself...
Looking at the steering wriggle, it’s like a Lotus for feel. This could be my dream car. V8 infotainment system, brilliant. Also great driving, so smooth.
Had the great pleasure to be taken out in a McLaren a couple of years ago, they are amazing cars and I love them to bits. (I'd probably get my weekly shop in that one!).
Wonderful stuff Pete! One can really get a sense of the immense performance available, absolutely ballistic, beautiful car too. See you at MM no doubt 😀
both is the best key of mclaren with out 720s never be others supercar or any 750s the 720s is key of mclaren we all know and both car is legend so this 750s have mix DNA by 2 models not only by 720s ok is first 720s sec 765 lt and now combine make magic of 750s beast.
Wow..that brings back memories when l drove a 720s around the Goodwood circuit…. I did find it funny when the man from McLaren was giving you instructions around your home track ..😂
Hi Ped McLaren has always been a favourite in this household. Going back to the 90’s when the F1 was a sight to behold in the Park Lane showroom. I promised Mrs P if she wanted to spoil me we would never lose money.(obviously I was overlooking the small matter of purchase price & servicing) However I was right about the future investment value. Fast forward to Goodwood when the 12C was shown for the first time. Again loved that car. The current cars are amazing and still outside my budget😥 However thanks for sharing, I am “slightly” envious.😉
@@PetrolPedThanks. I didn’t know what it was and I’m pretty sure McLaren are going to be producing an SUV soon. I thought they’d slipped up and leaked it. 😊
Great video as always, I must say I've never been a huge fan of the inside on McLaren's just feel like with the money it costs could be more wow factor about it especially the centre console part. How does it compare to the Porsche Spider
A fantastic car ! Just love McLaren, I'd take one over a Ferrari, Lamborghini etc anytime. Great video but was it really necessary for you to have to drive with an instructor ? You probably know the track as well as anyone and better than most !
It was a media day with people that have a wide range of experience. From someone like me that know the track very well to people who have never driven on a circuit at all. It’s just a safety and insurance thing. They let me push hard though 👍
You must have to pinch yourself sometimes. That is a car on a whole different level to what us mere mortals get to drive. I can't really get my head round that kind of power after driving my JCW with 230ps to the i-Pace with 400ps and that car is twice that. Bonkers is what springs to mind and all the noises of the V8 and the downshifts just adds to the theater. What a car.
Was that Sir Metcalfe in the Pits there???.... Great car and Very well Driven PP..... But I have driven an F1..... But not on a track :-(( So you are up 2-1.....lol....... :-)))
I have a Holden commodore V8 redline here but before I know it I’m way over the speed limit way to quickly I’d rather take my i30N for a blast on the country twisty roads where I can use all it power much more engaging
I can't believe how effortless that looked, minimal shaking for driver and instructor everywhere and then 'that was 160' gets casually mentioned. No talking necessary, what a car, cheers
It is incredibly rapid 👌
That is a wonderful colour. I remember having a passenger ride in the 720s, amazing. That 750s is a magnificent design
Peter, did you notice that Harry Metcalfe did a small cameo appearance over your right shoulder when you were in the pits, when your door was open on the McLaren, just before the end of another excellent video.
Oh yes. Warmed the car up for him 😜 He was the next driver in. Had a lovely chat before he went out 👍

@@theloneranger2101Now that would be an epic video! Two of the best men talking with depth and enthusiasm! 😃😃😃
Way above my abilities, thanks for bringing us along. I'm sure you know Harry was lurking behind you.
I warmed it up for him 😜
@@PetrolPed I'm sure he'll return the favour sometime.
All the advantages of the 765LT and 720S in the same car. And 150kg lighter than a 296 GTB.
Exactly, I really do not understand some of the critism it has received online. It's due a refresh, this is the best of both worlds!
Indeed 👍

Looks like Harry Metcalfe was eager to get in the driving seat. Nice cameo from Harry😂😂. It looks like an awesome bit of kit that 750s!!
I was just warming it up for him 👍
Hey Ped, the car looks so amazing, what a colour and what lines and have to say that I could see your confidence grow as soon as the tyres warmed up and a truly stellar couple of laps by yourself...
Thanks Matt. I need more courage through Fordwater though 😂
I think McLaren cars should be the new Batman car. Great video Sir Pete!
That would be cool!
Your enthusiasm for McLaren is inspiring. You need to own one I think.
I wish 😬

Are there mc claren driving days available any where Pete got to drive one off those amazing cars mate
Probably. The challenge is they are often quite restrictive about how you drive 👍
Wow..that brings back memories when l drove a 720s around the Goodwood circuit….

I always take pro instruction with thanks. Every day is a school day 👍
Greetings, I adore these. A long way from the 1st McLaren.
Excellent...had me smiling from start to finish!
So glad 👍
Meant to ask, what is the turquoise blue bracelet/bangle you have Ped? I want to get one 🙏
Bought it in Barbados from a local jewellery maker 😬
@@PetrolPed thanks, not been to Barbados for years. I will have to do some internet searches! Thanks for the reply and enjoy the rest of your Easter

Very nicely driven.

More reliable would be a start
I can only dream of a passenger ride in something that beautiful. And the colour is gorgeous too. Not sure there’s room for the wheelchair though!

Yangwang U8 👍

Yes I did 😂
Sometimes you don’t need to say much… just let the film and noise say it all.
One question Pete....
Do you have the best job in the world ? 😀
Maybe 😬
You were good. Andre was scared

Where would my golf clubs fit. Lol.

Try the passenger seat :) maybe 2 sets
Mega track car 😁😁😁👌🏻👌🏻
Oh yes 🙌
looks stunning from the outside but im sorry it looks cheep and bare inside
All that power and the top speed limit only 70mph just can’t use all its power I could have just as much fun in a polo GTI but fun review 😂👍
A lot less than 750bhp gets you over 70mph.
Absolutely true but that McLaren probably can do 70 mph in 1st gear where’s the fun in that
@@leemace9638 lots of fun to be had than just pinning the throttle to its stop.
