I really wish reviewers would start being their own brand and give honest opinions on these cars because their old 720s takes haven't aged very well. They went overboard with it being "too tame" and it's all based on an exhaust sound that's less loud than the Lamborghini Huracan. I honestly think my 720s is way more engaging than the huracans and vipers before it. That's due to the light chassis and amazing steering feel that both are truly best in class. The 720s was a benchmark car and is aging really well from the looks down to the driver engagement. I think it's not far off being one of the best ICE super cars ever made. This probably ages pretty well because eletric is the future and driving engagement is going to have to come from things other than pure speed sooner than later.
What I find interesting is that this car, kind of, competes with the Revulto and the 812's replacement. One of which has 1000hp and the other is sure to do so. As light as the McLaren may be , I wonder if it is enough to make up for the power deficit
