The sorcerer spell slot thing reminds me of coffelock in table top dnd where a multiclass sorcerer and warlock can have infinite spell slots as long as they never long rest. You turn your warlock slots into sorcery points then turn those into spell slots and since the warlock gets its spell slots back on short rest you can keep doing this as their's no limit on how many times you can short rest before a long rest in tabletop. So as long as you never long rest as that resets any extra spell slots you got from meta magic you have infinite spell slots but need to find different ways to remove exhaustion since you can't long rest which is where the name coffelock comes from

WHAAAA this game is just incredible, makes you wanna restart every time I always killed that Shapeshifting Blob.... this time I'm going to pick him up as summon.
Another deady summon you can get is spectator in a bottle, but you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get one (get the bottle from Zhentarim, then summon the spectator in a place where it will die from the shadow curse and return as undead, so it becomes a legal target for oathbreaker paladin's undead control)
You can also take a drunken Shart on the cursed crow in act 2. That summons a bunch of crows that can also be 1-shot by spirit guardians for the achievement. I think that's the easiest and earliest point in the game when you can do it. Another good one is the swarm of rats in Shar's Gauntlet. The one that ends up revealing the final dark Justiciar. You can also do it in act 1, but requires some prep. Grab the Crooked Wand of Fireball from the Underdark (X:55, Y:-184) off the Deep Gnome corpse next to the 2 dead Dreugar. Take a swig of alcohol and use the wand in the middle. That should make huge progress for the achievement, if not flat outright get it for you.. Important to note the drunk character doesn't need to get all 20 twenty kills, you just need to get 20 kills while a party character is drunk. So if that doesn't do it for ya, move on to the swarm of Grishkas or Kobolds in the Mountain Pass.

actually, the strange ox can still be gotten if you destroy last light inn, i talked to it before killing isobel, and he showed up in his normal spot act 3
Best container in the game is Shadow Plush (the shadow Owl Bear in Act 2) It's weightless has an unlimited inventory space, and counts as a dead corpse.
Use the Shapeshifter helm often. If you choose Drow elf, the goblins treat you with awed respect.I freed Wubren the deep gnome from a dozen gobbies and 2 worgs with one intimidation check.😮.lol..
Minor correction on Zlorb: You do NOT need to save the Tieflings in act 1 to meet him in act 2. Just like he says if you talk to him: He's gonna make it to Baldur's Gate with or without those poor slobs. =P EDIT: You ALSO can kill Aylin and he makes it. I did a full evil Durge playthrough recently and he was one of the few allies that made it to the end throughout my carnage. xD EDIT 2: I just get a hireling to give an eye away to Ethel. =P Free charm that works great right before the final Netherbrain check. EDIT 3: If you inflict Bloodless from stealth, it doesn't actually do any damage and therefore will not trigger combat against an unsuspecting target. I use this to apply Bloodless to traders (which permanently sticks around) giving them a debuff to their perception checks allowing for easier pickpocketing.
Trick 3 is way better if you make lower level spell slots. Because then the potions refresh the additional slots you're making as well as your original.
You don't actually need anyone to have dual wielding to use the flail of ages buff on another weapon, you can just drop any weapon you want to buff on the ground and target it with the skill that way.
You don't need to save last light inn to get the ooze ally. Maybe talk to him but not save tieflings. If the inn falls to the shadow curse he will still manage to escape, then you just need to smuggle him into the city.
Instead of that potion, it’s better to use the Shield of Devotion with your Sorcerer. You get a free spell slot with each equip of it; turn it into sorcery points, and you can refill your spell slots as needed.
I'm pretty sure the ox stayed alive even though I killed the tieflings and the druids in my current playthrough. As long as he doesn't die when everyone is fighting, I think he will appear in act 2 and 3 without any issues.
Not that many people will pick it but for the apple you only need to save Isobel at last light inn. I let shart kill night song and last light inn fell at that point. Apple was there next to tiefling refuge camp in act 3.
The Paid the Price condition isn't actually all that bad. Sure, it gives you -1 in Perception, but that can easily be countered by your other party members and the +1 in Intimidation more than makes up for that, as it's pretty handy on your main character. And the disadvantage against hags is only really relevant in the fight against Auntie Ethel.
Aww... I encountered him in Act 3 but my dialogue options made him turn into its original form and go hostile. Guess I shouldn't have let my Paladin do the talking... Next time I'll just smuggle him into the city then.
I did the thing with the Ox but he didn’t appear in act 3 for some reason. Even when I went to the barn my party was like “it’s that Ox again, is he following us?” But the barn was empty 😞
It's always funny to see the assumption in these videos that the origin characters are being played with their starting class. Did it my first time, but they get really stale if you keep playing them the same way.

I foolishly take their ring every time….
5:46 mostly yeah, a globe of invulnerability and 2 call lightnings were used in the final fight but most scrolls ended up being kind of wasted.
less than 40 seconds into the video, I've identified a regrettable choice on my end (having killed ol oozy boy in my current playthrough)
I have Astarion hang onto the hollow book and carry the party's gems inside. Lighter than gold, and it seems like something he'd do.
There’s also several dead animals that you can use as containers as well
Best container in the game is Shadow Plush (the shadow Owl Bear in Act 2)
It's weightless has an unlimited inventory space, and counts as a dead corpse.
Use the Shapeshifter helm often. If you choose Drow elf, the goblins treat you with awed respect.I freed Wubren the deep gnome from a dozen gobbies and 2 worgs with one intimidation check.😮.lol..
Just for your next great video - roasted meat in goblin camp (where you first find Volo) can heal if you eat it.
I did a full evil Durge playthrough recently and he was one of the few allies that made it to the end throughout my carnage. xD
EDIT 2: I just get a hireling to give an eye away to Ethel.
If you are a selunite cleric, you cannot get the shar buff at all, and will only be cursed.
That skull is from “Escape from under mountain” it was a forgotten realms novel.
7:20, Not any party member. If you are cleric of selune then you cannot get it, it'll always hex you.
Trick 3 is way better if you make lower level spell slots. Because then the potions refresh the additional slots you're making as well as your original.
The punch drunk achievement is even easier if you just drunken fireball the rats because of all the wine on the ground. Instant kaboom
New fashion trend of 2024: Wulbren backpack
Instead of that potion, it’s better to use the Shield of Devotion with your Sorcerer. You get a free spell slot with each equip of it; turn it into sorcery points, and you can refill your spell slots as needed.
I'm pretty sure the ox stayed alive even though I killed the tieflings and the druids in my current playthrough. As long as he doesn't die when everyone is fighting, I think he will appear in act 2 and 3 without any issues.
Whoops! I killed the strange ox for his ring lmao
They did Flail of Ages dirty.
Omg the goblins were annoying with my drow. I needed that XP
7:28 also if you play as cleric of selune you auto fail automaticly and get a debuff if you atemt to pray there
Hold up, im about to escape prison by playing this little diddle on my fiddle.
Pretty sure the skull would be a nod to the Dresden Files (Bob)...
Not that many people will pick it but for the apple you only need to save Isobel at last light inn. I let shart kill night song and last light inn fell at that point. Apple was there next to tiefling refuge camp in act 3.
I killed isobel in my durge run and still got the ox in act 3
What if I killed the ox in act 2?
@@GameZero2 the ox shape shifts into an apple so no ox no apple
When you meet Blurg at The Lodge, he doesn't say "Very well, I have mushrooms to catalogue." any more. That stopped me trading with him any further. 😕
The Paid the Price condition isn't actually all that bad. Sure, it gives you -1 in Perception, but that can easily be countered by your other party members and the +1 in Intimidation more than makes up for that, as it's pretty handy on your main character. And the disadvantage against hags is only really relevant in the fight against Auntie Ethel.
using wulbren as a backpack made me cackle
Aww... I encountered him in Act 3 but my dialogue options made him turn into its original form and go hostile. Guess I shouldn't have let my Paladin do the talking... Next time I'll just smuggle him into the city then.
For Shar’s blessing, I passed the roll but still got hexed. Watch out if you’re playing a cleric of Selune lmao
I prefer casting my scrolls and drinking my potions from a dead chicken.
7:01 doesn’t Selune grant Necrotic Resistance no strings attached by speaking to Isobel?
regarding the first one, i killed isobel and nightsong in my evil run and the ox still appears in act 3 !
I thought that kissing the goblin's foot in Act 1 was cool. Of course Laezel tells you no way, but you should.
The skull reminds me of Morte from Planescape Torment
I did the thing with the Ox but he didn’t appear in act 3 for some reason. Even when I went to the barn my party was like “it’s that Ox again, is he following us?” But the barn was empty 😞
It's always funny to see the assumption in these videos that the origin characters are being played with their starting class. Did it my first time, but they get really stale if you keep playing them the same way.
The strange ox will still show up in act 3 if you destroy last light inn
Now there's a purpose for killing Wulbren!
You didn't have to come for my scroll hoarding so hard you know, I came here for tips not psychic damage 😂🤣
Wulbren XD
Unfortunately the ox is bugged in act 3 if u go to the lower city before talking to him, he just disappears and u can't interact w him again even if u go to his spot in rivingtown. Real shame
"choose to save Dame Alin"? who what huh? @0:35
Should be isabel
@@markvt22 That's probably what he meant, but you lose everyone at the Last Light Inn if Aylin dies too
I tried using goblin child as a container but you have to click loot and then drop items in rather than just open 😢
At that level, Shadowheart has Remove Curse

In the hole where you find strange book there is also a lamp that you could use and interact with , is it djinn in there?
If only there were more fights in game. In act 2 there are so few fights i can count them
"Which is pretty c..." 🤣
How do you get all those songs??
Well, he doesnt just thank you he praises a certain someone 😫😱
Future DLC...let's hope. The Dark Sun...

It hurt so much to hear him make that mistake over and over. Glad someone else mentioned it.
