@@houseoforchids I had recently purchased from them and repotted my cattleya without removing the outer coconut husk.I think I should follow your steps for better results. Hope it's OK to redo the process once again.

Sunlight is needed in plenty, but not direct sunlight... Yes, it is available online.:)

Don’t you need to wire it into place so that the plant won’t fall out of media?
It is very firm this way!!! And keep it in a secure place, free from shakes and jerks... Eventually when roots grow, it will become more firm.

Why don't you dip it in some fungicide while potting,
So, here I am not cutting the roots or taking the plant out from its roots... So roots are safe, and hence not dipping in fungicide. But it can be done, No problem !!! :)
