Makes sense that the garlic will work if there is a bacterial infection. Garlic would be antibacterial and kill the infection causing rotting.

I've never seen such growth in little time, im going to try the garlic method as well as the ginger water.
How long it took to see growth under banana peel, it looked fresh when removed, does it mean you need to replace them, banana peel would dry, rot, attract fruit flies,
It will not look that way a few days later
