Who down votes this! This literally saved me hours of frustration pulling the wrong parts off! Was done in just over an hour! Video was straight to the point, thanks!
These videos are Excellent, I wish you guys had places in Canada. Everytime time I have worked on my cars I use them .Thanx for putting the videos on here.
Thanks for the video! I used it to replace my PS belt on my 2005 Sebring today. Pretty straight forward but getting the plastic clips off to remove the cowling was a huge pain. I recommend adding a bit of WD40 to each of them before attempting removal. I broke two before trying the WD40 but had a few spare clips from another car so no big deal.
Hopefully it's as easy as it looks...but I'm not betting on it.... I'm betting on a few rusted/stuck bolts, some skinned knuckles and maybe some broken tools (from me breaking or throwing them lol)
I replaced my alternator and when I put my belt back on, there's alot of slack left...what's my issue?? I matched my alternator next to the new one CV to make sure they matched.
+showtime00769 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
i tried and tried and couldn't do it. This car is a pain in the ass to work on. I'm gonna fix the steering issue then drive it to 200k km's and sell it and get something easier to work on. This car is a money pit unless you're a mechanic.
@@TakeThis_L a LOT of cars could be a "money pit unless you're a mechanic". I've been working on my own stuff since I started owning a car at 18. 40 years later and I'm still maintaining my vehicles as much as possible. Between my age and the "tech" of newer stuff, it is getting harder!

The power steering pulley is seized in place on my 2005 stratus.
(Yes, even after completely removing the tension set bolt.)

Power steering tensioner doesn't move, even with the tensioner bolt removed.
Pivot point seized???

when you say how much to torque lug nuts it gets blocked for some reason at my end, did you say 112 lbs?

Only problem I'm having is that there still isn't enough slack to put the belt on. I fully turned the slack thing and still not enough.
You forgot to put the plastic mud guard flap back on LOL
Would the same work for 2001 2.7 liter convertible?
Payden Rhoades did it work
@@theultimatemediaplatform4043 yes
