"Foolish children of Man. The crime you commit is grievous indeed. The Arbiter of Time serves the Goddess of Death in all her merciless splendor. All mortal beings stand as equals when they receive their ultimate judgment. Only the most powerful is chosen to pass the sentence. Your sin is your arrogance. Such hubris, to think you could challenge me! Drown in seas of blood, writhe in infernal flames and and suffer eternal torment! YOUR PUNISHMENT AWAITS!"
My favorite fights of the game. I just live the end Labyrinth and these final fights. So freakin' awesome fighting Caius on the back of a airship with awesome music in the background. And then the Arbiter of Time fight? Yessss!
@Armand8701 they did. after the final battle with chaos bahamut, he returns to his normal form and fights noel and serah on the deck of sazh's ship as seen in the photo. the photo shows the first part of the final battle but then he reverts back to his normal form and continues fighting while the song continues playing.
OMG. I really love this!!! This is one of the most epic Video Game Music tracks that I have ever heard, if not THE most epic. Think of a really Epic Disney movie - Whenever live-action or animated. I gotta thank the crew for making the music of FFXIII-2! And thank you for uploading this! I added it to my favorites and I even gave it a "Thumbs Up!" Cheers! ;) I'm sorry I couldn't fit the entire comment that I made on notepad, so I shortened it. :)

Eh, I personally prefer the first game to this one, but yeah. This game was pretty damn good. One of the first RPGs I ever managed to complete. ...Even if it was back when I was a complete novice when it came to video games.
@@warriorofdawn876I prefer the 3rd one imo. I just like the battle system the most out of the 3. They all are good in their own regards tho so it’s really by a minor amount for me.
In an old FF game this would certainly be the end-of-disc (or appropiate chapter) boss music. eg. fighting jenova, hojo, sorceress edea, kuja, garland etc
Let me think...yeah-NO. I think there's been enough hype about the villain who can't accomplish his goals, even with a massive advantage and the ability to come back almost infinitely.
If they were to be allowed the full extent of their abilities, Caius since he has the ability to manipulate the timeline therefore he can attack Sephiroth with no way of defense for Sephiorth. Sword wise is a bit hard for me to go on because both antagonist barely had any core skills to do with melee that didn't involve magic, So it might just be a strategical tie with Caius having the strength factor due to the width of his sword which can break Sephiroth's stance in a scenario of a sword on sword clash and Sephiroth with the reach and speed of his sword. Magic wise I'd say Sephiroth because he isn't limited to singular type of magic where Caius is only limited to Chaos type magics not to mention he usually always uses it with his sword and Sephiroth can foil his attacks by casting wall which blocks physical and magical attacks. That's how I think about it at least. I'd like to hear others.
Enhancer is overly literal crap. Synergist is far more unique as a name. Jammer is okay, not much better than Saboteur. Both are about the same, but I personally prefer SAB as it's rarer word.
not really but it's not that good since it's simplistic. im just saying most likely the japanese did this to make it easier for gamers to understand little english i guess. the optima change to paradigm shift makes more sense. the jobs didnt change though to keep that "mmorpg" feel to it.
That's what I call a freaking battle theme! It pumps me up every time!
Exactly one of my favorite scenes on Final Fantasy XIII-2 soundtrack

I read that in Caius's voice.
vidpoopstudios
Caius would be fitting to say those but i think they fit perfectly for the Arbiter of Time and how intimidating he is.
I haven't gotten far enough to do the arena battles...
XD nice impressive that you remember all of that
Living Hitokiri Yes, that's Valfodr, all right (watch me completely misspell his name.)

they couldn't have nailed this theme better for cauis, this really impressive. when facing him its even more amazing cause of how well it fits.
Thise theme really gives you the ''final battle has begun'' vibe

This was the best dlc ever
This game officially became my favorite rpg I've played after the coliseum dlc was released, it truly is great in nearly every aspect.

ff13-2 is so under rated, more people need to play it
This is a real Final Fantasy battle theme right here.
This game is over 9 yrs old now, crazy!
One of the best FF tracks ever!
damn this is one of the best soundtracks i have ever heard. cant wait till this game comes out ^_^
I love how this reminds me a ton of certain battles in Final Fantasy XI.
0:55
The OST in this game set the bar pretty high. When they make FF13-3 I can only imagine how epic it will be.
The music was amazing ❤

It me or is FFXIII-2's music really damn good...?
Just you.
+Danniel don't be silly.
Profilejc98 It was a question, and it was answered.
Danniel Answered incorrectly. Because it's not just him.
Profilejc98 Don't you have anything better to do than restart a finished discussion a month later?
the best theme (after unseen abyss and limit break)
@RadikTheReaper well this is the battle theme version that you'll hear during the game at some point.
It went very well with valfodr battle dlc
2:14 2:45 love it!!
Best track ever.
Awesome song. This sounds very familiar though. Probably like another song Square made?
@Invertedzero
I didn't know the PS3/360 let you adjust resolutions XD
@Invertedzero also fits most of the games as the pre-final boss encounter
If this doesn't get you motivated to whoop some Bahamut ass, nothing will.
I like this :D
*Gasp* I never knew Caius and I had a baby... *Shudders*
Wisely play this track against Gore Magala.
Dragons are fucking assholes.
+MatthieuPK and sexy beast
+MatthieuPK I think it suits Fatalis much better :D
@UltimegaSeven of course all square does is remix songs from ones they already made not saying its bad its still very good
Garnet Bahumat
Jet Bahumat
Amber Bahumat
Pick which one you want mine is Garnet Bahumat his my birthstone anyway
Jet
I wonder if it will come out to ps4 or Nintendo switch
Wings of Night, I Summon Thee!
Agreed
This song reminds me of Phantasy Star now.
Das good shit.
@burstfiredragon That's a matter of opinion.
they should have this battle theme in a battle with caius.
It's official, Japanese 13 have better names. "Synchro Drive", Jammer, Enhancer, attacker, blaster, defender and healer. Optima change and everything else...
ok im listening to this....now i gotta go find a bahamut to fight with this theme.....
Know your folly!!
That's a name for a Ratchet & Clank weapon or any other futuristic kid's game or show that has weapons. Blaster.. LOL. How unimaginative is that?
Let me think...yeah-NO.
I think there's been enough hype about the villain who can't accomplish his goals, even with a massive advantage and the ability to come back almost infinitely.
What you talking about caius did win the chaos was released from vahalla and the goddess is dead because of him
Yeah, Caius got everything he wanted and then some. That's a W for the villain, without a doubt.
@937olter o.k thank's
this should have been the final boss theme
Caius Vs Sephiroth who would win
shinku222222 nobody, Caius is invincible with his heart unless he kills himself, and Sephiroth can live on in the lifestream
Neither, they're both trash and got owned but a bunch of depressed saps.
Adloquium Dubious Caius is still alive, you know?
Did I say he was dead though, learn to read, nerd
Might it be Valfodr's theme ? We don't hear Caius theme in this OST.
Yeah, it is in the battle at the airship in Academia 500 af
Caius isn't the ruler of time and space ^^ That's Valfodr ^^
ahhh ok ok i hahahahhahahahha i didn't understand in the begining
No problem ^^
Anyone else hear traces of Blinded by Light in here?
Enhancer is overly literal crap. Synergist is far more unique as a name. Jammer is okay, not much better than Saboteur. Both are about the same, but I personally prefer SAB as it's rarer word.
it's done by the same composer
It's better because it's from Japan😎😎😎😎😎😎
not really but it's not that good since it's simplistic. im just saying most likely the japanese did this to make it easier for gamers to understand little english i guess. the optima change to paradigm shift makes more sense. the jobs didnt change though to keep that "mmorpg" feel to it.
except that "optima change" has been changed to "paradigm shift" in XIII-2.
Very annoying that in this brilliant battle, the framerate keeps dropping to hell!!! Even playing on lower res doesn't fix anything.
for me it was none
...
Wut?
...
How much did we drink that night?
Extremely boring and unimaginative names for those roles, frankly.
Bullshit.
