Hi I was wondering if you knew anything about my issue I get this code P0732 and when I put my Jeep in reverse it won't go just make noises if I put it in drive it will go but will stop and just spin grind like reverse did. My fluid is full also I did check my driveline and I do have a bad cv joint in rear but my Jeep should still move just would click or something I thought .. any help would be appreciated
That's a unique way to keep tabs on a specific circuit. It's kind of cool actually. You got me thinking of a guy who has a terrible intermittent no start issue here. If I can ever get a hold of his truck this might be a good idea.
My RPM and voltage meters are a little jumpy and I think my breaks are involved somehow as well. It started by shifting up and down, now it's not shifting at all. I checked the power and ground as you showed. I mean, really, if my Jeep is doing everything you explained what are the chances that it's NOT the computer?
Flickering gauges I would be looking at a wiring diagram to see what circuits are affected and get direction on where to search for the problem. Then you could see if the trans issue was related electrically to the gauge issue.
Great shirt - I lol'ed! 👍👍 Great idea with the 194/168 bulb there. Dynamic testing is always the best testing. 😎 If you've got a friend with a Jeep, you'll always have work. 😁
I have an 06 tj 4.0 manual, crank no start, determined it was the fuel pump after my troubleshooting, before bolting up gas tank I tested for voltage again at the connector and still showing 12.1, fingers crossed still crank no start, back to the drawing board, any suggestions? No check engine light, jeep was running fine prior to issue, it does start with starting fluid but dies once the vapors dissipate, so I have spark, compression, just no fuel delivery.
Does the Jeep have a security system? Do you have an icon on the dash? That can cause a no start. The fuel pump can be getting voltage but have a dead spot. Having voltage at the source is good (12+) volts but what's important is to check the amperage. That will tell you if there is resistance in the circuit.
@@ozzstars_cars surprisbgly everything is stock, no aftermarket electrical parts, no lights, even the radio it stock, so no alarm, no anti theft system installed either, I will check for amperage, but what is my range? I did obtain the wiring diagram to the vehicle just now thanks for your help, my main concern is I cant read the pcm/ecu with my Bosch scanners gunna try a different one soon.
@@ozzstars_cars ok will do, *update* new symptoms showed up, I had the ecu disconnect from battery for over 5 days, just turned ignition 5 mins ago and as far as dash lights go, engine light is on, flashed for a few second then back to solid along with brake and seatbelts lights which are all currently stable.

All those "P" codes can make your day go down the drain. Thanks for working on this Happy Little problem.
Good point. Yeah those codes can Piss anyone off.lol

The beauty of YTube. Have a good weekend.
@@ozzstars_cars I love the T shirt by the way. Bob is one of my hero's.
Very cool Glen - looking forward to final repair vid
That makes two of us! 👍😂
Good thinking . I don't remember you showing a scope , which one did you get.
Got a Micsig over a year ago, never shown on my channel. 😉
@@ozzstars_cars Your just shy eh 😂😂
@@SteveRobReviews you have seen me on camera enough times to know that I'm shy and lost for words. hahaha
Great walk through glen
Thanks
Great way to test the tcm
Same issue on my 06 Lj ,
Looking forwards to the next video I have the bad pcm
Sit tight, the solution is close.
Good info. Looking forward to the follow up video.
Hope it will be the answer to the problem. Thanks
No doubt you and Keith are the man!
👍😁👍

@@ozzstars_cars no,sorry, I did't mean they wer flickering. I mean the amps and rpm's are going up and down slightly.
Should help a lot of folks who may have this problem. Which scope did you get?
Bought a Micsig over a year ago. Works great.

That's the truth Smitty! 😁
interesting i didn't realize the 2005 and 06 had it built into the pcm mine is a 03 and has a seperate TCM module
Yeah the early TJ's are not prone to this problem. We all know what JEEP stands for. 🤣
I like that. I always think outside the box. You made it Dumbass proof 😂. Hey, I have to do that stuff all the time. Great work.
Thanks 👍
Nice testing method mate no light it no like it 😉😊👍👍👍
Cool! Thx for sharing Glen 👍
Thanks Dylan

Also make sure you have a good ground in the pump circuit.

is it the pcm or the tcm im so confused by your words..... i believe you backprobed the pcm.?
Back probed the TCM. You may want to check out the original vid for more info. Link in the description above.
@@ozzstars_cars sorry dude the pinout sheet you read in beginning clearly says pcm.
@@joachimjohan1215 it is a PCM which includes both the ECM and TCM
Do you have the fix to this problem figured out yet?
Yes the new PCM has fixed the issue! Here is a link to the repair: ua-cam.com/video/KWK2LiqUk4I/v-deo.html
1st BOOM
About time you were first! 😁
The last electronic* thing you want to replace is the PCM. The last thing you want to replace is the engine.... or god-forbid the body.
You got that right Wayne. 👍
I will not take it easy🤔
I know, you take it on the rocks. lol
