After battery replacement, my Kia Rio 2015 shifts the gear very early. For example, I'm driving on gear 5 in the city with speed of 50 km/h. There's no code and I have been driving the car for week after with this condition. Any idea what the problem is?
The P0750 code on your 2002 Toyota Camry XLE indicates a problem with the transmission shift solenoid "A." This solenoid is responsible for controlling the engagement of the transmission for first and second gear shifts. A hard shift from first to second gear and the lack of overdrive can be symptoms of a malfunctioning solenoid or issues with the transmission fluid pressure. It’s advisable to inspect the solenoid and the related wiring. Good Luck!
P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction Code. Possible causes may be Faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor: The sensor itself may be defective. Wiring Issues: Damaged or corroded wiring or connectors related to the VSS. Faulty ECU: Although rare, the engine control unit may be malfunctioning. Transmission Issues: If the VSS is integrated into the transmission, internal issues could affect its function.
Peugeot 4007 2.2 HDI. After starting, it throws the error, Transmission service required; and the transmission does not shift, it remains in neutral. In this case, the idle speed increases from 800 to 1100 I stop and start it several times and the error message disappears and it runs without error, but I can't start it more and more times. Diagnostics: It brought P0704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction and P0702 Shift Control System Electrical Malfunction as transient faults. What causes the error? Thanks!
Try the following, it might help: Check Transmission Fluid: Ensure fluid level is correct and it’s clean. Inspect Connections: Verify all wiring and shift linkages are properly connected. Test Transmission Control Module (TCM): Ensure it’s functioning and properly programmed. Look for Error Codes: Use an OBD-II scanner to identify any issues. Check Mechanical Parts: Ensure the torque converter and transmission mounts are correctly installed. Verify Gear Selector: Make sure it’s engaging the transmission properly. Goog Luck!
We all have nostalgic moments, I hear you. However, I do like the advance electronics in modern cars, they are supposed to help us and improve cars. Although not always.
The P0600 code means there's a communication problem between the engine control module (ECM) and other vehicle modules. Check the wiring and connections, and consider having the ECM tested if needed. Hope this helps. Good Luck! What other codes or symptoms are you experiencing?
It sounds like your transmission might be low on fluid if it’s slipping out of second gear. Check the fluid level and condition, and top it up or change it if necessary. Thank you for sharing.
