    The first time somebody shows you toxic, believe them, that's who they are.
    I used to believe that all people had some good in their character, I was a fool. Many people are stupid, selfish, and uncaring.

      Yes they're really full of themselves aren't they, they'll even go so far as to insult us, a way to antagonize, get a dual going but too bad for them we see them for the stupid fools that they are and it suits us to ignore them knowing it's their loss not ours, we were glad to help them along but have wasted enough time and brain cells!

    True. Narcisists prey on the targets innocence and willingness to give second chances. Putting up stron boundaries, not engaging, explaining and not putting up with the abuse by walking away is a way to get to be immune to their abuse. You have nailed it Danielle. Thank you❤

    Omgosh, you are so right. My ex-husband would say to me "You used to be so nice". My response "Imagine how that changes when someone has been lying, running me down to anyone that will listen, breaking, stealing or throwing out the things that were mine". Never in my life have I seen a supposed to be a man, be such a "Nasty B**ch".

      Oof, that had to hurt!! Before I left, my ex-husband said I will never find anyone like him, that will do all the things he did for me. I said, "That's the point! There was life before you, and there will be life after you!". The contempt on his face made me beam with joy!! 😁

      Hubby dictated pop out another one when my premie daughter (they're so much work) was 10 months, I obeyed, have since learnt pregnancies best at least 18 months apart, kept nursing her all through my second pregnancy and kids get along wonderfully but you'd better believe I never worked again, he can pay for everything and does so quite well, I wasn't born yesterday!

      @joseenoel8093 some people use their kids that way. This is why kids aren't and should never be used. I have 2 children myself and struggled with both pregnancies. Nearly obtained pre-eclampsia with my first so I had to give up work shortly before the birth. Some people should be grateful to even have kids in the first place.

      What normally healthy person would blame you for their unhealthy actions. The narc wants you to think that your reaction to their action is the problem. In fact it is not what they do it's how you perceive what they do that's the problem. Always stay away from mental people!

  • @will_Iam61
    @will_Iam61 11 місяців тому +5

    Yep, what most people that have never encountered this don't understand is that the covert narc is playing a long game unlike any other long game. Just like your analogy of the lobster getting gradually boiled, the female/or male narcissist sets their sites on someone that is subtlety challenged and has weak boundaries because of their willingness to do whatever is needed, and gradually manipulates the situation and their target to where the target is accepting the abuse because they love the other person (or think they do) and years later when the abused person starts to fall apart because of the slow erosion of self-esteem, self-worth, they often find themselves married and with children and not sure how to get out of this situation. If the abused decides to stay because of the children, it just gets worse and sometimes the children will wind up against them as well. This is insidious.

    Now I'm convinced this is definitely the kryptonite. He cut me off out of the blue shortly after him wanting a second chance. So I also cut him off as devastated as I was. A couple months later, he was looking for me because the other supply did not work out but I maintained absolute no contact this time. I soon found out that he definitely crumbled. He quit his job and checked himself to Rehab for substance abuse. No wonder he couldn't commit to me. He knew he had nothing to offer.

    Frog Danielle. It's a Frog. haha lol. If you use that killer analogy example strictly as a metaphor a Lobster or other Animals from the Kingdom may be substituted for the Frog just fine, but the scenario has big big big science behind it. The Lobster is a Crustacean while the Frog is an Amphibian and they're as different as East from West is from Peas and Carrots. Momma Lobster gives birth to 700,000 little live "Snowflake" Larvae Miniature Lobsters while Mrs. Frog births a string only containing about 5,000 eggs that yield Tadpoles that Metamorphosis into Frogs. You make so few mistakes in your sound doctrines why not make the small and intricate details Everest-Sized and be as flawless as you are feminine? Lobsters are often associated with death and boiling water because the method assures they don't turn poisonous. Just a constructional suggestion in the box from your...."Favorite Lousy Neighborhood Troll." KUTGW And yes Alice Cooper Alice in Chains and Molly Hatchett are your conformational clues...like you didn't know already.
