    There are 4 things to delay skin aging:
    1. in the morning Vitamin C Serum
    2. in the evening Tretinoin
    3. sunscreen all the year
    4. stay out of the sun

    Hi Olga😊. I agree with you when you said that Asian skin is prone to sagging than wrinkles. I do not generalize but my parents are over 50. And i have not seen any prominent wrinkles on their faces. Their skin just started sagging... Nice video👍

    I have started using vitamin c in my morning routine and retinol in my night routine and my skin feels amazing. I've not had any adverse reactions at all. However, I have started having sore throat and watery eyes ever since. Every time I stop, it seems to go away and returns when I start using it again. Has anyone faced similar issues? I'm not able to find answers for this online and would really like some help.

    Asian skin has a thinner epidermis but thicker dermis, so it is a fallacy to say that Asian skin is thicker. Our skin tends to be more sensitive and not able to tolerate so much exfoliation because of the thinner epidermis.

      I use it instead of the serum which is after toner, Hada Labo and essence. I follow with Hada Labo red milk. If you've never used it before, try starting with 1ce or 2ce a week - there may still be an adjustment period for your face as even though it's not irritating, it's still retinol :)

    I used to use retinol products and I stoped not because my skine became dry but because I was afraid that it would became "lazy". What do you think ? Is there a risk that if one uses anti ageing products such as retinol very young, the skin becomes "addicted" to it and then becomes "lazy" so once you stop using the products, it rinkles even faster ?

    • @MlleBonbonViolette
      @MlleBonbonViolette 5 років тому +1

      Solène I have the same thought: , if you get a product with a high percentage of retinol too young (26), I fear such products would not work as well when my face would really need it the most. I am focusing on hydratation right now and getting rid of acne marks due to hormonal issues.

    Many interesting things here, thank you! Retinoids are hyped so much here, but very seldom you hear that it doesn't really help sagging, just wrinkles. I have thick skin and I consider sagging worse than wrinkles in my case. Maybe my skin resembles the Korean trouble skin! 😃 I have used different retinoids for over a year now and haven't seen any positive results. My skin looks worse than before - it actually sags more, and looks just so dull, like you said. Maybe it's not the best option for me . Having said that, I was able to get tretinoin recently and I want to give it a try. Out of all retinoid products, I have liked adapalene the best so far, so maybe my skin just needs the real stuff 😁

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  5 років тому

      It is possible that your skin resembles Korean/Japanese features - I think mine too, including the round shape etc - that's why their products work so well on me generally speaking. Retinols definitely take some adjustment time - I'll keep a note of the gentler versions you mentioned and see if I should switch down should at any point Sesderma not be good for me. Thanks for sharing!

    Hey Olga, thanks for sharing this amazing info about retinols. I don't think my skin responds well to retinol, although retinol isn't one of the active ingredients in hada labo alpha milk(red) it used to brake me out. After you mentioned about sesderma's nano tech I went on to give it a try and ordered reti age serum but received reti age cream instead. I didn't return it anyway. So far I have used it twice and haven't seen any allergic reactions or severe drying out but haven't noticed any changes either. Ofcourse, it will take time. Hi Olga. I have acne and tried tretinoin for a little while. My skin was so dry and flaky I gave up. I might try one of those milder products. I work for the ordinary so will try retinoids which are the best for sensitive skin. This serum you showed seems nice too but the price is too high in my opinion.

      @olgatoja  5 років тому +1

      The Skin Coach from the book only recommends retinol for problematic skin (with acne etc). I think your type of the skin can benefit the most from them. Interesting point about the price of the Sesderma - I wonder probably a lot is going into packaging and overall feel or the cosmetic rather than just ingredients. It's awesome you work for Ordinary - may I ask you what's your favourite products? I only tried a couple so far, they were ok but none did anything amazing to the skin. I'm keen to try more.

      @@olgatoja Thanks for the reply. I will start retinoid 2% tonight! Well, since I work there, I understood more and more that the price of a cosmetic it's mainly all around the marketing and packagings. Ordinary does very basic bottles and no marketing rather than social media. It's crazy how much we pay for products that cost probably few euros in term of ingredients. Favourites so far are lactic acid, aha/bha peeling, I'm really liking the new salicylic mask, glycolic acid for the body.. Need to experiment more with the vit c and antioxidants!

      Nope, not at all. I added a disclaimer in the video when showing Sesderma. It's a recommendation from my heart!

    Hi thank you for your videos they are very helpful. I want to ask how can I choose which number missha bb cream I should buy.

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  5 років тому

      Thank you :) No 13 is the lightest, then 21 (which I use and have in this video) and then no 23. If you want to know definitely which will be best I'm afraid you just have to buy one. You can get a small size on eBay and thankfully they aren't too pricy :)

      Just a dupe for the Skinceuticals vit c serum which is much more expensive. Using the Timeless at night. You may like it. I am also a believer in retinol but haven't used any lately. May try the Sesderma.

      The ordinary brand has retinol products like the one she mentioned, and these are very affordable. I am using 2% retinol without any of the side effects.

    It's just retinol and not tretinoin. Also, I dont see the strength.
