@@amnakhan9241 my rosacea is aggravated by sun damage, so i use tretinoin to reverse the effects, to prevent skin cancer and slow down aging. i use it every two weeks as a light peel and sandwich it between 2 thicc layers of face cream. it clears up rosacea acne immediately. i still have redness but i don't mind it. we'll see what my skin will be like at 30 lol.
I am 71 years old, and I use Prequel products. I have a long history of rosacea and sensitive skin, and I have received IPL treatments for my face and for ocular rosacea. I purchased the retinol you suggested from Stratia. Where do I introduce the retinoid in my routine? I have not used the Stratia retinoid yet, but because it is moisturizing, do I use it before or after Multi-Quench? I have Gleanser, Multi-Quench, Balm, and the mineral and organic sunscreens from Prequel.
Thank you! My skin is a twin to yrs. The laser to target reds has helped. I use the Azelaic Acid in the morning too. But not 100% sure it’s helping with the redness. Love the simple routine!
I didn't realize that Vanicream cleanser was a foaming cleanser. Can anyone confirm for me that it really is a foaming cleanser? It's not like Cerave Hydrating cleanser right? Like where it just feels like conditioner on your skin? I don't necessarily dislike those kinds but I prefer foaming ones. I've heard great things about the Vanicream one but I always thought it was a non-foaming one. If it is a foaming one I will definitely buy it! Edit: it IS foaming and it’s amazing. I absolutely love it! And I love the smell lol. (No fragrance. Just like it)
I really didn't know the difference between Tretinoin and Retinol (I thought they were essentially the same thing), so I gather that retinol is a bit less aggressive, I appreciate you clearing that up
I have just ordered the Vanicream Gentle Daily Cleanser. After finally finding content by a medical professional with Rosacea, I am excited to try her routine, and see if it makes a change to my skin.
Can I ask how you keep your redness so calm you can’t see that you have any rosacea? Also how do you recommend not purging and flaking when starting tretinoin for someone with rosacea hope you can help as I’m really really scared to start mine which I’ve been prescribed xxx
Dr. Ellis, your skin looks great! BTW I'm also a rosacea sufferer (except my case is very bad, with an extremely sensitive, fragile skin - due to a long-term corticosteroid treatment) and I love the Toleriane Ultra, it's been my go-to moisturizer for years. I would recommend it to anyone who deals with sensitive, intolerant, irritated skin.
I have the same type of rosacea. I hate the redness when I have an alcoholic drink or now when I eat spicy food. Also noticed the sun is bothering my face more than usual.
This is great advice on what products to use. My face is way more red and sensitive and not perfect. Your face is perfect. So with this process your using make your face in time looking and feeling better?

@@amnakhan9241 my rosacea is aggravated by sun damage, so i use tretinoin to reverse the effects, to prevent skin cancer and slow down aging. i use it every two weeks as a light peel and sandwich it between 2 thicc layers of face cream. it clears up rosacea acne immediately. i still have redness but i don't mind it. we'll see what my skin will be like at 30 lol.
Need I say much? I love her. Although I don't share the same skin type or skin condition as her.
We need morning routine too 😍😍
I literally love her so much
This LRP moisturiser is the very best! I always must have it 💙
I would love to see her morning routine, sunscreen and make up that’s good for your skin etc!
She is adorable! And i will check out that moisturizer too!
Loving the transparency of additional treatments! Beautiful presence and skin!
Morning routine please!
Can you use azaleic acid and a milder retinol cream in one routine?
I do, and I have Rosacea.. I use the Kiehl’s Microdose Retinol along with my RX azelaic acid and never had any problems. Hope that helps.
Wash / treat / Moistured. That’s it! Love this!
This was so helpful and Dr Ellis is just so relatable and real.....wish she was my dermatologist!
Brilliant routine by a brilliant human 👏 Would love to see your morning routine!
I get confidence listening to her honestly Dr. Sam could you give advise on excellent drugstore products pleaseeeee
I really appreciate that she is talking about botox and laser treatments!
I bought the Aveeno oat cleanser and it's amazing. I did order Clinique's take the day off cleansing balm and the ordinary azelaic acid.
I love her honesty
i love her! please bring her back!
I love that she shared the additional treatments that she gets outside of her skincare routine. Love it!
Just like it)
I really didn't know the difference between Tretinoin and Retinol (I thought they were essentially the same thing), so I gather that retinol is a bit less aggressive, I appreciate you clearing that up
Yes! Retinol is way less intense but doesn’t have as many studies as tretinoin.
Retinol is so weak that it’s a waste of time. Use retinoids
@@efroggys What's your go-to retinoid?
Hello
I found your video very informative. Can you share your morning routine and products
.
Do you suggest using a mask 1-2x per week with rosacea or not at all? If so, any thoughts on the Skinfx Redness Recovery Mask?
I have just ordered the Vanicream Gentle Daily Cleanser. After finally finding content by a medical professional with Rosacea, I am excited to try her routine, and see if it makes a change to my skin.
2:11 : i dt have sunscreen
any dermatologists: oof we r gonna hv a problem
Please bring her with morning routine
such a great video ! I definitely love to see professional women use socials to help spread well known tested knowledge
Can I ask how you keep your redness so calm you can’t see that you have any rosacea? Also how do you recommend not purging and flaking when starting tretinoin for someone with rosacea hope you can help as I’m really really scared to start mine which I’ve been prescribed xxx
🦋I started using olive oil & lavender for my first cleanse
Would you ever do a laser treatment like laser genisis for rosacea while breastfeeding?
Your skin is gorgeous, I have rosacea too. Thank you for all the great tips 😊👍💕
After applying Tret how long should you wait to put moisturizer on?
Love your video ❤ would you recommend toner on rosacea skin
Hi Dr. Ellis! I have red spider veins on both cheeks and around my nostrils. What skincare should I be using or avoiding?
I have the same type of rosacea. I hate the redness when I have an alcoholic drink or now when I eat spicy food. Also noticed the sun is bothering my face more than usual.
I relate to her skin type sooo much. I wish I knew what her tinted moisturizer is, her skin looks amazing!
I have rosacea too and was worried about the tretinoin use but I have been fine with it
This is great advice on what products to use. My face is way more red and sensitive and not perfect. Your face is perfect. So with this process your using make your face in time looking and feeling better?
Can you use azelaic acid and vitamin c togethter?
