Absolutely spot on. When I had work done on my teeth..big job..I couldn't eat for along time. My face just sank ..to put it bluntly. It's Never been the same. I wish I hadn't touched my mouth to have veneers. I only need two teeth sorted, but the dentist 'advised' me...😢..and not to mention the £££££😮
Hi Claire, I was blown away by your interview with Ivan Gallani! It would be wonderful if you could consider doing another interview with him regarding things we can do that are beneficial for our skin and won't deplete this precious facial fat. Keep up the good work!
@@thehonestchannel I can’t wait. I thank both of you for your kindness to all and am so grateful you found this wonderful human being of a gentleman. Glad he is keeping its cost down, but seniors on meek income it is still hard. However, regaining looks lost is and will be the Fountain of Youth I dreamt of. Now, if he can only invent regrowth of teeth and gums. My relatives died in a dentist chair, I wish not to follow pattern. Afraid of that! I kept my shape as youth times but only face with dental loss has hurt me, hair ok, body ok, but nothing else that counts just as much. I walk frequently at senior age. You both are Blessed Individuals, so grateful, I am.
@@maryannsinopoli1751 Thank you Maryann. I’m not sure Ivan has discovered the fountain of youth but he brings an interesting perspective and a bit of hope to those who have lost facial fat through cosmetic procedures too
I am sorry to hear that. I also had bad results from an at home machine I used 6 years ago, I have regained some volume but not enough, it was a nightmare for a long time. Overtime I accepted my new face but still looking for ways to come back to my original face and age naturally.
It’s becoming very clear from the number of people i’m hearing from now that this is a big issue that really should be addressed by health authorities. What time of home device was it?
@@thehonestchannel It is a big issue, some women I met got nerve damage and even lost bone tissue with the corresponding deformities. I was "lucky" my damage was superficial. The machine I used was the Mini Portable Anti-Aging Skin Care RF Thermage Fractional Home Use. I do not know if they still sell it. Ultherapy and Thermage are dangerous technologies and should be prohibited or administrated by highly trained professionals only.
@@ldd6767 Are you in an online group with other women who have experienced this? I would like to speak to women who have been affected by this on the channel if you or anyone you have spoken to would feel comfortable doing that. Totally understand if you don’t.
I’m 35 and I see results in 2 weeks! Even my spouses notices my face is more plump! I also use this on the back of my hands and just love the result! I have sensitive skin, but this cream is very calming and gentle for me! I just love love love this cream! I’ve never seen anything generate result so fast like this product, I am amazed! I also use retinol, vitamins c, at-home red light therapy, at-home RF, sunscreen, facial mask occasional, taking collagen supplements and calcium! Of course, Sleep is essential! ❤❤❤
It’s good to be skeptical. I am interviewing Ivan again to put new questions and concerns from viewers to him so let me know if there is anything specific you’d like to ask around the formula.
@@thehonestchannel Thank You very much! Here is the list: WATER (AQUA), CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS (SAFFLOWER) SEED OIL, DICAPRYLYL CARBONATE, GLYCERIN, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, GLYCERYL OLEATE CITRATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, KAEMPFERIA PARVIFLORA RHIZOME EXTRACT, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN WAX, CARBOMER, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, XANTHAN GUM, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, OLEIC ACID, POLYSORBATE 20, SODIUM BENXOATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, TOCOPHEROL. So as far as I can tell, there is just usual stuff to find in a moisturizer. and cucumber for example, does not wow me. so the 2 magic incrediences are supposed to be: safflower oil to stimulate regeneration and Kaempferia Parviflora But isn't that to find in other moisturizers and where is the proof that it works? Are there independent studies?
@@jw6156 I did a follow-up interview with Ivan yesterday so I'll publish it in the next couple of weeks. I have another skincare review to edit and publish first. I did ask him more about the ingredients and the evidence. You are correct in saying the safflower and black ginger are the key ingredients as far as Ivan's theory around stimulating fat regeneration goes and he talks more about that in our follow-up. His study is not independent, as you would imagine. Independent studies are hard to find in the skincare industry. In an ideal world there would be an independently funded body set up to assess new technologies and formulas.
I gave it a shot. I am just starting month 3. I am definitely seeing plumpness and smoothness to my skin. Apparently, 3-6 months is where the real change happens. I am happy so far.
I’m a nurse practitioner and an aesthetic provider. I have been warning my patients about heat and fat loss for years. Ultherapy is scary. I have seen severe again after this treatment but it happens about 9-12 months out. People may not even be aware it was from this procedure. It will cause fat loss next to the area treated not just the area treated. Radiofrequency is used for fat loss, so be careful, but it’s not as powerful as Ultherapy.
I purchased Adipeau and have been using it for about 6 weeks. I was very grateful to learn about the problems with Hyaluronic Acid, and discontinued using it at the same time. I have noticed definite improvement in lip lines and on the backs of my hands. I ordered more Adipeau and will continue using it.
A lot of drugs used in gyms as well. Just a different class of junkies and dealers. Hence why not every person or singer has the look described in this video. Not all singers and people who go to the gym use stimulants.
Ivan mentioned that he saw results in people as old as 68 which was somewhat insulting to me because I'm 75! And have been using it for over a year. It was given to me by my plastic surgeon after I had gotten my bi-annual filler shots. It's not easy to see results on your own self because you examine yourself more closely than anybody else ever does, especially half the time in a magnifying mirror! Nothing happened overnight of course but in the past few months literally all of a sudden, I have been getting so many compliments on my complexion. I really mean a lo! One woman even called it alabaster! Do I see it myself? Not really. But all these women asking what's my secret can't be wrong! I'm absolutely thrilled.
How could he forget you Marjorie! I think he was referring to people in his trial though where they measured results with a 3D scan- were you part of that? Great to hear you’re getting so many compliments.
Hi Marjorie, thanks for your kind words and sorry for the tardy reply. My comment about the 68 year old study participant achieving the best results in the trial was intended to be encouraging. It was a huge surprise that the improvements in volume appearance were correlated with age (statistically significantly so!). The scientific literature predicted that older subjects would have more trouble regenerating.
@@aeducator1 good morning What a brilliant interview thanks Was wondering, is there a cream to reverse a lot of fat namely over lower limbs in case of cankles? A lot of women suffer with the reverse of facial fat loss yes but alot of women also suffer with lymphoedema.
Mr. Galanin is a lovely, generous man sharing this information. Listing to the fascinating science, it occurred to me that women using the cream would want to stop removing facial hair in the places they desire regeneration since he mentioned that the fine hair strands are the vehicle for carrying the cream into the pores, thus deeply into the skin.
I have been using this cream for only a few weeks and the results are dramatic. After I apply my cheeks especially feel stimulated, even hours after I apply. My medial cheeks are so much plumper, On the left side it’s even extending to my tear trough. I physically feel the difference in volume when I bring awareness to my face. I was totally skeptical but this is an incredible product. Now I won’t have to do as many fillers if at all in the cheek area. With NO side effects. I’m having succh a robust response to this cream and I’m so grateful it exists!!
That is wonderful news! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I’ve now had quite a few people say they are seeing good results which is very exciting.
Shee, I'm wondering if it's generating fat cells or if it's a temporary plumping? I really want to try this if it's generating new cells. Just wondering.
This was a very interesting interview, but firstly I would like to address a few things: 1) movement can constrict fat cell regeneration, but mainly putting pressure on fat cells shrink them (ie, waist trainers, corsets etc). Rock stars do not have loss of facial volume due to their singing, it’s more likely that they are overusing or abusing stimulants such as adderall and cocaine that leads to suppression of fat cell regeneration. 2) high intensity exercise does not cause fat volume loss on the face. Using steroids however does, because steroids suppresses and shrinks the thymus gland which causes accelerated aging processes, High intensity exercise is the opposite, it keeps circulation all around the body and helps the brain release endorphins which have a positive effect on cell regeneration. He mentioned Gwyneth Paltrow as an example, but she is a sun worshipper and she uses hard abrasives on her face every day which could be why she has thin skin and not because of her exercise practices. I would like to mention that iron supplements in excess could also cause acceleration of aging. 3) Eating lots of protein has adverse effects on cardiovascular functions, I doubt eating a protein rich diet will help skin. I think rather carbohydrates and drinking fresh juices would have a more positive effect on skin. 4) Checking out the adipeau site it appears the primary ingredient that is used for fat cell regeneration is Kamempferia parviflora rhizome, which in many research studies have been shown to ameliorate skin aging; this is quite interesting because this substance has some kind of unknown epigenetic effect which prevents senescence of cells- reading the studies it seems to have a similar effect to glutathione. This substance could not only be for dermal tissues but could affect all cells. Hence, I would extrapolate that taking this substance internally would have a greater effect than simply applying a cream on dermal tissues. All in all, this was quite illuminating. I’m glad to have seen this talk and gotten to know more about the regenerative properties of fat cells.
Thank you for adding your sensible information. The HIT stuff, the excess protein, the singing…all fabrication of the owner’s imaginings. There’s a reason why he was turned slightly side on and not frontal facing the viewer and the host.
Thank you for your comments and for being open-minded. Movement, in general, and HIIT, in particular, do reduce adipogenesis. Here are four papers than are helpful in this respect: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35744030/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22112919/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28887210/ www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7231004/ Protein is vital to healthy fat. Here is a great paper. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5104383/ You are right that protein consumption can also have adverse effects and really people should discuss their diets with someone who can give them personal advice. I was really just trying to highlight the importance of protein in fat cell regeneration. Please continue to comment. Debate is really important for creating clarity for people. This is why youtube is such a great venue.
It was done in a doctor's office and when I returned to show what had happened, she said there was no way it could have happened. I could see it was useless reasoning with the doctor and never went back. I used to go for facials and botox. She lost me. Thank you for commenting. All the best.
Really sorry Diane. I am becoming more and more enraged about what’s happening here. Initially I thought this was an unusual occurrence but I am hearing from a lot of women now. Something needs to be done.
I would try this cream and if you can try renuva it's injection that's all natural since it's made from donated fat matrix with all the living cells taken out so there won't be rejection it has the ability to regenerate fat in the face and bring back your original youthful self and its fda approved

He gave suggestions on what to do without buying the cream that would have the same effects: eating more protein, stimulate blood flow to area i.e. dermarolling, saunas, cold showers. He actually wanted people to know these things before talking about how his cream works. Sounds like he wanted to inform on top of marketing his cream. I learned something new for sure.
If someone is recommending something to "look young", I would immediately look at the physical appearance of the messenger to check the credibility. I see the nasolabial folds on the one selling the cream. I don't know how people would easily buy into this.
Thank you both for a fantastic, informative interview. What a wonderfully honest man he is. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease 6 years ago. To help with the condition I immediately went on an autoimmune ketogenic diet. A side effect was that I lost weight very quickly including from my cheeks and under my eyes. Thought I had to live with it, but I am definitely going to give the cream a go. Thank you so much.
@@nickkerinklio8239 It has helped a bit but not as much as I hoped, However I still need to finish the second bottle, If there is a greater change I will reply again
I also lost weight too quickly on the keto diet. I lost the fat in my face, neck & bum 😞. I’ve since gotten fillers in my face and been doing exercises for my bum. But doc says only surgery will get my neck to look like I want.
I've been blessed with looking 10 years older than I really am. It's been this way since I was a teenager. My older friends always look younger than me. No amount of cream and diet can change that.
He said that oils disrupt fibroblasts production of collagen hyaluronic acid and elastin but 2 of the ingredients of the cream are safflower and sunflower seed oil. I'd like to hear an explanation of the action of what each ingredient is performing if we could get that and how these other oils aren't disrupting the fibroblasts actions. I've bought 2 bottles and plan to add this to my intermittent regimen of tretinoin, rf device and microneedling and hoping the best. Thanks for your work hun, I'm glad you actually have lines and jowls to work on to show results to us. Thanks for being so brave.
You are right. If the fat cells get too bloated (such as through intake of lipids from oils) they start to subvert fibroblast function. The innovation in the product is that it combines a lipolytic ingredient that balances out the oils.
My review on Adipeau cream: On my last vacation, I put in a few pounds. So, in August, I started a diet that caused a tremendous volume loss in my face. I used the Myo Lift, thinking my face would look better when I lift my cheeks. It got worse; I got nasolabial and jowls. I went into a deep depression. I didn't want to see people, even the close ones. I became obsessed with finding a solution. I want my full face back - Although I stopped the diet, my face kept worsening. One day I came across an interview about Adipeau on The Honest channel. I did my research on it. I spoke to the founder, who patiently answered all my questions. I decided to try it. I mean, why not? Won't it go worse than this? I received Adipeau on October 20, and since that night, I've been using it every Am & Pm. OMG, on the 24th, I thought that I was fooling myself. But, my family started to realize the change. Thursday, the 28th, I was at a big event, and I received compliments similar to when I had my full-volumed face. It wowed me. I'm CONTENT and THANKFUL to Adipeau. I don't feel I need more volume. I will ask Ivan if I keep using it or just put it on my nasolabial and under my eyes until I get there. I wish there is a way to show my results here.

Volufiline will also rebuild the loss of facial tissue in the face, breast, or hips. You will see a big difference in 6 months if you used this every day twice a day.

This was like a call from heaven! I had ultrasound treatment on the left side of my lower face due to cancer in my early 20s… after 11 sessions it was controlled and to this day ( I am now 55) it hasn’t returned 🤞🏻 But the side effect was the loss of facial fat in the area 😔 I have tried everything but it made my face look much different from the right side… I started doing face e facial exercises six years ago and although my face looks remarkably young for my age, that side hasn’t regained the volume. Another area I have noticed loss of volume is the temple area on the same side ( left) not sure if associated to the said treatment or just the ageing process. I will definitely try this cream too. 👍🏻
So sorry to hear you experienced that Catherine. Just to flag when I spoke to Ivan the other day for a follow-up interview which I’ll publish in a week, he said there is no evidence for the cream’s efficacy in the temples. I am trying it there though as well as my cheeks so I’ll report back in December.
Thank you this is great, best facial information that I have seen on video. Brilliant, it’s so simple and straightforward. Fat loss is one thing as he explained, refilling fat cells does not stop the sagging. He had not finished the story when 😊twit interrupted.
Thank you Claire. Very interesting interview - I would too like to try the cream, but I will wait your 3 month review and consider purchasing after you give your response.
Thank you so so so much for putting this content out there. I recently had my first cosmetic skin rejuvenation procedure (Scarlet RF microneedling) and I look 5 years older than before I had the treatment! I thought I had done all the research needed to get it done but I’m only now finding out that volume loss is a risk that isn’t as “rare” as the literature (marketing propaganda) would have one believe. I SO wish I’d seen this content before my procedure. It has been a very anxiety provoking month watching my face get worse! I was thinking of doing PRF gel injections to try to restore volume but I’m so scared to do anything else at this point. I’m definitely going to try his cream and follow your progress testing it out. Can’t thank you enough for renewed hope! I’m definitely sharing this video with the practitioner who did my RF microneedling to try to educate her about the actual risks. (I’m sure the info has been just as unavailable to her as it was to me until recently.)
I'm really sorry to hear you had that experience. I have had a lot of similar comments on this channel on both this and other videos I've done relating to fat loss from clinical skin tightening procedures. Clearly the industry needs to be better regulated and practitioners better informed. In the wrong hands these machines can be harmful.
I have done one round of PRF Gel injections under eye...doing 3 treatments 6 weeks apart. I don't think it can hurt....it's my own blood with growth factors, stem cells, etc.....so far, so good. I looked better a few days after but of course the volume is gone, but she says it takes a few treatments. I am trying to get my skin healthier around my eyes which was so so damaged from the Pixel 8. It is such a scam!!!! I think in the right hands, these machines are okay.

Tomorrow’s video is just a follow-up interview with Ivan to put audience questions and concerns to him. I haven’t seen any results yet with the cream at 2 weeks. The advice is it takes 8 - 12 weeks so I will update in December I promise.
Excellent interview! Dr Rajani talks about runner's face. As does Dr Sam Lam, another plastic surgeon. They too say that exercise too long and hard (cycling, running or anything using upper legs mostly), you end up with atrophy of fat pads in the face. Trauma to the eye sockets from breaking nasal bones during rhinoplasty can also do it. The prolonged swelling cuts off circulation to fat cells and they atrophy. Eyelid plastic surgeons know this complication well, because they get post op rhino patients seeking filler. Years ago I was one of them. They also end up treating those who have lost orbital fat from prostaglandin based eye lash growth serums. Retin A has been reported to impact fat too by many. More research needed there. I've had good results regenerating under eye hollows with PRF injections. I will look into these creams too. Thanks again 😊
There is so much good information in this post - thank you! If you do try the cream please let me know how you get on. I know others have said they found PRF injections too. I'm going to be looking more closely at tretinoin/retin-A in an upcoming video.
Thank you Clare. This was very enlightening. I have ordered a bottle with your code. The discount is helpful, thanks. I have fat loss around my temples. Starting to look like a “ peanut head”, which I am not thrilled about! Strangely enough I have some fat loss on my right cheek only, and I do tend to chew on that side. Last year I took 7 bottles of osmosis Recovery which is supposed to plump areas of fat loss. One bottle only lasts 16 days, ingesting twice daily. At £165 a bottle it was a very expensive experiment. There was zero improvement and I was so disappointed. I am not keen on the idea of filler so close to my eye so I am very happy to try the adipeau cream. Compared to what I have already paid out it seems reasonable, if it works. I will report any results here, on this page. Good luck to everyone who is trying it.
Hi Amanda, thanks for your vote of confidence. Asymmetrical fat loss is the rule, not the exception. We saw it in our clinical study. And you are probably right that it's tied to mouth movement. To be fully candid, we don't have much experience with fat loss around the temples. So your experience will be valuable.
I ordered it, too!! Let’s see……I’m a home gamer and i think microcurrent out of all the machines is the one that works. Keeps the shape of the face and that is a telltale sign of age. This is entirely for the muscles of the face. People wearing masks-no one can tell one’s age. Once the mask is off- jowls galore. For the skin/complexion- really retina, vitamin c and sunblock.
@@Benegesserite Which microcurrent did you use? I have used the NuFace. I don't think it works. I found better results with the galvanic machine. That tightens alright. I think it's effects are temporary.

What an awesome interview and I'm totally blown away by Dr Galanin's knowledge and transparency, he's a very rare doctor indeed. Love this channel, just discovered it. Thank you Claire.
Why don’t you correct comments that call Ivan a doctor? Surely you know he has no scientific or medical degrees right? A simple Google search shows that.
Well, I am 54, normally people take for somebody who is 40. What have I done? Facial exercises? One thing is sure, we can't have a face still avoiding movement because this is unnatural. With the right movements your muscles gain tone, your circulation improves. this happens with the lifting massages as well. I have seen big improvements on myself and on the people I have taught these techniques, specially in the neck area, eyes, cheeks. So, I am afraid I don't agree with the lack of movement as something good to do. Not all rock stars have thin faces... this depends also on the genetics, weight, habits and maybe too much movement, but not movement itself.
Ok y’all I’m going to try this. I’m in my 30s and I am noticing some things. I was going to do some procedures but I am going to wait. I’ll post an update in perhaps 3 months.
i just buy the cream ,your discount was pretty amazing ,i will see how this go ,after 3 month i will review the cream ,finger cross i will use religious every day in this 61 years old face ,thanks for bring this for us ,l
I don’t buy the rockstar face thing, for a few reasons: A) it should also apply to other voice professionals, like opera singers, but doesn’t seem to, B) it should not apply to band members who are not singers, and yet. C) How much time do rockstars spend singing? There are many parts to being a musician, and playing music often isn’t the majority of it.
I want more of Ivan!! I just had another mindblowing piece of information from this company!! I asked if it would be good to combine this with tretinoin or retin-a and he said not. This literally happened to me, everyone thought I was about 15 years younger than I actually am and I literally had no wrinkles. None, dermatologist would say I didn’t need wrinkle treatments because I didn’t have any but then recommended “preventive” treatments for “maintenance”. So I stupidly agreed, it was a heat type of treatment and destroyed my facial fat. It left me much older looking with months after the treatment and asymmetrical. The fat and youthful appearance never came back and now everyøne guesses I’m a little older than I actually am. I am so disappointed I did that treatment and regret it 100%. It was actually two treatments spaced 30 days apart and was a huge mistake. I really wish I could find a doctor that really could help because I feel hopeless now.
@@thehonestchannel Appreciate you saying that, thank you. I posted my comment as a warning to others to avoid heat type of treatments to the face. They say they restore youth or maintain it but actually they just destroy fat and in the face you don’t want that. Maybe as a double chin treatment but don’t let it touch your face. It’s important to warn people and this is coming from someone that actually experienced it. What I’m saying isn’t even anecdotal really, I did a face scan analysis before and the computer said I was 34, after treatments and less than a year everyone guessed I was over 50. That’s not ok and people need to be warned. Also, if you do come across any really good doctors you think might be able to help please let me know (let us know).
@@Katiekay. I’d have to see if I can look it up but it was definitely some kind of heat treatment because I remember she said it’s better the hotter I can stand it. Turns out the opposite was true. If I remember correctly it was thermalift. I have done an IPL treatments too for skin discoloration and that actually worked out very well. The spot that was treated is nearly invisible and you’ll only notice it if I point it out and you look very close.
I've heard a lot about this. It's happened to a lot more than just you. The good news is for a lot of people the facial volume does come back at least to some extent after a while. I can't give you a timeline just a little bit of hope.
I only use dove sensitive soap for my face and apply cetaphil moisturizerplus aquaphor as the last step. My face is always plumped the next day especially if I get a good night's rest. Sleep well and wake up looking 10, 15 years younger.
@V B I do! It takes off the aquaphor residue. I also use sunblock all the time (over a thin layer of cetaphil when it dries) but use mostly mineral sunblock from neutrogena. Also use paula's choice salicylic acid once in a while at night. I don't think you need to pay so much money for your face to look stay young. If wrinkles start showing up just put aquaphor or vaseline at night over a moisturizer. If that doesn't work use a retinol cream/ moisturizer(vitamin A) or prescription Retin A 0.25%. I used to use Retin A prescription at night but stopped purchasing since the price was over $100 but recently got it again because there was a coupon to get it for $30 at the pharmacy. I will only use it if I get acne scars since it regenerates the skin and completely removes the brown spot in a few days. I would start with Retinol creams first to see if you like it or just ask your doctor for a prescription. It does help remove wrinkles. My aunt's neighbor who's in her 90s used a cream with retinol for 40 years and her face is practically wrinkle free. So I know it works. You have to stay out of the sun though when using Retinol/Retin A and for a few weeks after stopping. Hope what use helps!
Rebuttal to High intensity: He is just looking at it from one perspective. A lot of body builders seek lower fat percentage and thus their cheeks look deflated. Also depends on you fat distributions, for instance, many asians have higher % of fat arounds cheeks vs European less so. High intensity also increases growth hormones that promotes regeneration in all body. I have seen many gym goers in their 50s looking really good for their age.
Glad to hear this rebuttal. Please contact me directly if you have pictures of over exercisers in their 50s with intact looking faces. I would be curious to hear their stories. There are always exceptions to every rule. Individual environments and biologies make generalizations very difficult.
@@aeducator1 Just look at all the older boxers or retired boxers. Sure when it's fight time they deplete to a certain degree to make weight but post fight they plump up again. Boxers in their 40s still have their facial fat.
Just YT randomly recommending this video. I had the volume on and it preview played....I was integrated...And then totally fascinated. Its also rare to have an owner of a product be so transparent and honest throughout. I hope it's working for you?
Would love to see that study, sample size and whether there were age matched control subject group using a placebo / conventional cream minus the magic ingredient. Those increases in facial volume may well have been due to other factor's like weight gain.
Great question. We didn't have a placebo group. It's too difficult to get compliance when you don't pay people to participate in the study, which we did not do. But we did track weight changes. 6 out of 35 subjects had significant weight change. 5 lost weight and 1 gained weight. All 5 who lost weight gained volume in the face. Moreover, as a subgroup the people with weight changes were not statistically different from the rest of the cohort.
@@aeducator1 thanks for the answer. I think having a control group with for example, a retinol cream which has already proven skin benefits and positive marketing would be easy to recruit. That would give more robustness to your results. Are there any potential or observed side effects?
@@aeducator1 Hmmm...why don't you pay people then? I mean, if it will prove your assertion than it would be worth the expense through additional sales.
This really is a fascinating interview! It has always been my hesitation with these new procedures, that there simply isn’t enough data!! The medical industry is quick to push out new products without the proper studies. I had heard about the Ulthera side effects, and just like he said, if it was so “safe” why would they avoid areas that would show a dramatic possible negative effect. This is why I like to stick with microneedling, LED and microcurrent - all of which have decades of not only studies, but also actual people with experiences that have been shared. Thank you for sharing this. 🙏🏼
@@thehonestchannel So dear Clare, you stopped with radiofrequenzy? I have found that the people here on youtube have like a facelift with it, what do you think?
I recently tried the Sylfirm X and it is suppose to be safe enough to even go over the eye lids and the nurse that worked on me was suppose to be trained by the inventor himself, but one treatment at 0.8mm left me with deep burned scars and finger width groves in the middle of my face! It's beyond traumatizing and I'm hoping the cream will help restore some of the volume loss.
I got severe facial & neck fat loos after using an "at home" radiofrequency machine. I used it once only, I did not feel anything, I actually thought it was not working, my face melted for 20 days in a row until it finally stopped. I looked 20 years older in 20 days, people around would not recognize me! It was a very traumatic experience!!! I got a couple of PRP treatments that brought some volume back temporarily but then back to where I was. I saw multiple doctors and refused to get fillers. I have been naturally regaining some minimum volume over the past 6 years (about 20%). I got this cream and have some hopes, however the explanation on how it works seems insufficient. I really hope it works for all of those who experienced bad outcomes from cosmetic procedures, I met a lot of sweet women who got awful transformations due to ultherapy/thermage treatments. Wishing all a positive experience, wishing this scientist success on his discovery!

I hope it works for you. I am so sorry to read you!!! I can feel your pain!! :( Please try to distract yourself. Little by little you should improve! I send you my support!!
I purchased a red light/infrared panel from Trophy Skin and I lost facial fat from the treatments. Now I'm trying to restore the lost volume. Lots if collagen power, bamboo, aloe, etc.. it's been a lot of work!
@09bonita09 I think there is a combination of things that has resolved/helping to restore volume to my face. No processed sugars, quitting alchohol (huge positive difference), less stress, saying No more often, putting myself first, organic/wild/grass fed diet, trace minerals/boron, hrt, and last but not least Sculptra. And yes, I do take a protein and collagen powder to fulfill my amino acid requirements.
This podcast popped up as a result of me looking for ways to disguise /regain the fat I've lost in my cheeks . I ( sort of ) suspected the reason for the fat loss was due to my rigourous facial flex exercises which I've done over the years: so what Ivan Galanin says makes perfect sense to me . The advice about regeneration and the cream is most encouraging . I am going to try both.Thank you.
Yes, it’s an exciting development for sure - and I feel I really deepened my understanding around the causes of fat loss in this interview too. Fascinating
Mr. Galanin is very observant...and brilliant. I have always wondered why women who work out hard...had sunken cheeks and hollowing? I thought well...they have hardly any body fat and are quite wiry. That's why. Now I learn about "Gym-Face". Now I have also learned about "Rock Face"...which explains a lot. As a child of the 70's...we weren't really taught to use sunscreen on our faces. We were using use Baby Oil and Copper Tan and boiling our skin like crazy. Doughboy pools were everywhere. My mother always had to have small benign cancer spots removed and biopsied. My sister totally baked in the sun as a body builder...in the 70's so her face looks rough...like mine. I have not had to have many spots removed...but I'm sagging and want to wear a bag over my head. Even collagen powder doesn't make much if any difference. I'm beginning to think it is a LIE. If the price doesn't bankrupt me...I am going to try Ivan's cream, cross my fingers...and hope it isn't another product wasting my money.
This is really interesting, great interview thanks 🙏not surprised the sun but wow that dynamic movement, avoid the yoga facial exercises and no overdoing the exercise in general
Glad you enjoyed the interview! I have a follow-up conversation with Ivan which will run next week. We talk more about his theories and the evidence behind them.
Thanks so much for this amazing news! Very informative interview, I'd say this is a game changer!!! Finally something that works and it's not crazy expensive, I'll order it for sure.
And people should not be surprised about hiit training. It is infact made to cause rapid fat loss. And body builders because they are on such strict diets
He's right about the facial fat loss place. I have huge dimples on the sides of my face more like craters. Horrible! I always thought it was from tooth loss!
Fascinating information. I would love to hear more from Ivan about the impact of topical lipids/creams on skin health. Thanks for doing such a fantastic job interviewing, as usual!
@@joannehung2417 Yes, tretinoin is a topical vitamin A cream. It is typically a prescription only medication, although there are some countries that sell it over the counter. @@thehonestchannel With all my lotions & potions & devices, I feel & have been told that I look like I'm 57 & not 75, so with Adipeau, GOD willing, I can maintain that!
Marionette lines are from combination of bone loss, fat loss, collagen loss/skin thinning. Even if fat is restored the bone structure won’t be there for full support. At some point a vertical restore lift will be needed to take out extra skin and lift deep structures.
I think it’s a good idea to just target one area initially and then one bottle should last the 3 months it takes to start seeing results, according to Ivan.
Wonderfully informative interview. Incredibly inspiring to discover possibities that allow our skin to repair and heal. Product currently out of stock so am waiting with anticipation. Thank you Thank you Thank you
Ultherapy is actually a laser treatment...it's the laser that burns the fat. The ultrasound is used to guide the laser to a particular depth of skin (epidermis/dermis).
Ivan, thank you so much for this inciteful information, but shouldn't I, who is 75, continue to use the cream because as we age, our body does not regenerate that quickly? This has truly been an eye opener! Thank you so much!!!
I was told that if you are a side sleeper, you lose volume. I happen to be a right side sleeper, and I’ve noticed the difference from my left side cheek volume.

On spot i lost all the HA effects! The morning nextday i was bright and shinny but slim as before HA fillers....no one has a study on this Retinoids effects over fillers. Please find a honest specialist to talk on this.Thank u! Wow, that's a very strange thing that happened to you with the HA filler and retinol. I think it could be tricky to find a dermatologist to talk about this because it's not a known or commonly-reported and therefore researched experience as far as I'm aware. I will definitely keep this in mind though. Be interesting to hear if anyone has experienced anything similar.
Hmmm, I would say that this is just a coincidence. On a physiological/biological level this would seem to be an impossibility. Maybe something else like migration.

It’s good to be skeptical. I am interviewing Ivan again to put new questions and concerns from viewers to him so let me know if there is anything specific you’d like to ask around the formula.
@@thehonestchannel Thank You very much! Here is the list:
WATER (AQUA), CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS (SAFFLOWER) SEED OIL, DICAPRYLYL CARBONATE, GLYCERIN, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, GLYCERYL OLEATE CITRATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CUCUMIS SATIVUS (CUCUMBER) FRUIT EXTRACT, KAEMPFERIA PARVIFLORA RHIZOME EXTRACT, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) BRAN WAX, CARBOMER, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, XANTHAN GUM, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, OLEIC ACID, POLYSORBATE 20, SODIUM BENXOATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, TOCOPHEROL.
So as far as I can tell, there is just usual stuff to find in a moisturizer. and cucumber for example, does not wow me.
so the 2 magic incrediences are supposed to be:
safflower oil to stimulate regeneration and Kaempferia Parviflora
But isn't that to find in other moisturizers and where is the proof that it works?
@@stephaniereynolds7230 That’s good to hear - thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Does the same happen for RF? I would outline the fat with a marker than pinch the fat and apply the RF to avoid burning the bone underneath
That’s great to hear. Thanks for sharing your experience
What is Adipeau
I always thought the rock star face was caused by copious drink and drugs.
of course it is...cocke etc
It is, drugs, lack of sleep etc
Losing and then gaining weight, which goes hand in hand with drugs
A lot of drugs used in gyms as well. Just a different class of junkies and dealers. Hence why not every person or singer has the look described in this video. Not all singers and people who go to the gym use stimulants.
I've noticed a lot of sunshine also thickens the skin on the face.

Was wondering, is there a cream to reverse a lot of fat namely over lower limbs in case of cankles? A lot of women suffer with the reverse of facial fat loss yes but alot of women also suffer with lymphoedema.
Great. Next to be tackled is age related programmed reduction in collagen synthesis and bone loss.
Does it work on the tear trough?
....Hello Yvan 😂
I don't believe you.
@@augustsnowfall5189 Yes I agree, but he did give some good information about fat cell regeneration lol

Apart from all the information, I am thankful to the doctor sharing his struggles with a skin condition.
This is vastly remarkable. I'm not only impressed by the premise of such product but also the mere fact that we finally see any kind of disruptive innovation - especially in the area of fat loss!
I agree. I found what Ivan had to say fascinating. Now I’m hoping to see results as I try the cream!
@@thehonestchannel truly that! I'd like to read more into it with critical data. Hope we get more in-depth clinical testing, which I know will be costly for the founder... meanwhile, I'll follow you!
@@downo I appreciate that, thank you. I’m just finishing editing a follow-up video with Ivan to answer viewer questions and I’ll add a lot of links to related studies from him in the description all about facial fat fitness.
Of course, the conclusion is to buy his cream. 🙄
After much consideration I decided to buy the cream
Safflower oil and black ginger oil are the key ingredients.
I'm in!
Glad you found the interview helpful.
Did it work?
@@nickkerinklio8239 It has helped a bit but not as much as I hoped, However I still need to finish the second bottle, If there is a greater change I will reply again

Ordered 2 bottles!!! At 70 I’m putting off a face lift as long as I can. THANK YOU!!
Would love to hear how the cream works out for you Cinda.
Volume loss is separate from skin laxity/sagging.
If you really are going to get a face lift sooner is much better than later.
How much did you pay for each bottle?
How can I buy them ?
I've been blessed with looking 10 years older than I really am. It's been this way since I was a teenager. My older friends always look younger than me. No amount of cream and diet can change that.
Eat nuts and good fats, to look younger.
❤
Stop using RF it causes fat loss!

My review on Adipeau cream:
On my last vacation, I put in a few pounds.

But isn't it depressing the collagen production and production of elastine?? I'm very interessted in volufiline..but i'm not super about ir because of what that docter said about how the swelling of the fat cells can cause a side effect of stopping collagen production..
Hey! What's you progress finally?

Hey Diane
How are you doing?

That’s so frustrating to spend a lot of money and see no improvement. I’d love to hear about your results with this cream.
I ordered it too, let's see what it does to my flat cheeks and saggy lower cheeks with jowls.

Welcome to the channel! 👋
Yes, I think that’s an important point. It’s not all
movement, it is repeated vigorous movement that could create more fat loss than you might wish.

Great to hear!
I am so sorry to hear this happened to you.
@@GhostSalwhat treatment was it???
Forgot to mention water!! Drinks lot of water. Your face will be plump the next day!
You wash your face next morning with Dove again?

@@Cicelyize That's a good idea.
@@aeducator1 Hmmm...why don't you pay people then? I mean, if it will prove your assertion than it would be worth the expense through additional sales.
@@andreavanda5402 we don’t want to pay people because they aren’t motivated to use the cream.
Thanks Andrea. Sounds like you have a good skin rejuvenation routine going there!
@@bluewater20101 I’m so sorry to hear that happened to you.
@@bluewater20101 i am so sorry. i had the same thing with RF micro needling. it’s awful
That sounds incredibly traumatic. Have you seen the follow-up interview with Ivan? I asked him more in that about how the cream works
@@thehonestchannel Thank you for your suggestion, I will look for it in this minute.
@@ldd6767 hi there!
So sorry for you.. I have the same experience with at home Rf device.
It’s been a month since your last comment. Do you see some positive results after using a cream?
Hi dear
Please update us I’m currently damaged by the same horrible machine. I’m so depressed and barley move
@@daylight5716 I am very sorry to read you were also damaged!! The cream is accelerating my recovery to some degree. You may want to consider it. I had recovered some facial volume very slowly naturally but i had not recovered any fat on my neck. With the cream i noticed improvement on my neck area and some under my lips and cheeks.
Has it been working for you?
By the way I'm 68 next month - so any "regeneration" will be hugely appreciated !
Really glad you found this helpful.
Can’t wait to hear back from you regarding results! This is exciting!
Yes, it’s an exciting development for sure - and I feel I really deepened my understanding around the causes of fat loss in this interview too. Fascinating
Me too
Wow, this is exciting, can not wait to hear you're option and if positive how to use the cream.
I’m excited to try it!
Dr. Galanin has a very kind disposition.
Not sure about the sun exposure theory. My thighs almost never see the sun…but seem to have zero problem in fat regeneration.
he said sun exposure diminishes fat regeneration
This is really interesting, great interview thanks 🙏not surprised the sun but wow that dynamic movement, avoid the yoga facial exercises and no overdoing the exercise in general
Thanks Michelle. I found what he had to say fascinating!
The face yoga blew my mind too.!

How are you doing?
It would be interesting to know if they accounted for natural weight gain in their study
Thank you both for the great conversation!
And I must say I was SHOOK when he explained reason #2. I'm still processing the information...
Glad you found it helpful. I certainly hope it's a game changer. Just putting it to the test at the moment - two weeks in.
Hey Diane
How are you doing?
Did it work?
This looks amazing! Does anyone know how it works with retinol??
Yes many doctors spoke about high intensity exercise depleting facial fat that I’d true this is how we loose cheeks by jogging etc
I wonder what his thoughts are on the oralift?
Yes I’d love to know that, I have the oralift, do you?
And people should not be surprised about hiit training. It is infact made to cause rapid fat loss. And body builders because they are on such strict diets
I'll try. I need volume!!! And he's right. Compared to the amount of money I'm spending in alternatives that do not restore volume...
He's right about the facial fat loss place. I have huge dimples on the sides of my face more like craters. Horrible! I always thought it was from tooth loss!
😔
Tooth loss doesn’t help. Causes the sides of your face to sink
Hey Diane
How are you doing?

Fascinating information. I would love to hear more from Ivan about the impact of topical lipids/creams on skin health. Thanks for doing such a fantastic job interviewing, as usual!
Thank you Jocelyn! I’m planning to do a follow-up interview to put this and other questions from viewers to Ivan in a couple of months
Is tretinoin a topical cream? It is no good or good for skin? I am confused.
@@joannehung2417 Yes, tretinoin is a topical vitamin A cream. It is typically a prescription only medication, although there are some countries that sell it over the counter. It was originally indicated for use against acne but subsequently has been used for anti-aging purposes. It is largely considered the gold standard in topical anti aging with actual evidence based/clinical proof of efficacy. One of the few topicals that most dermatologists agree on, it seems. Not an easy product to use for many, though! There can be a significant period of discomfort in the early days of use. In my experience, it’s worth it.
@@joannehung2417 Tretinoin is indeed topical and is fine to use with this cream. This is a recent video from me on my own results from using tretinoin ua-cam.com/video/J8kwIguRJcM/v-deo.html
Retinoids can cause fatloss believe it or not…
Claire, this was a wonderful interview & I too, dashed over to the website to take advantage of your 15% off. I'm 75 & would love to fill the beginning hollows of my eyes & my marionette lines. I didn't see the test that Ivan mentioned but that's ok. Thank you Sweetie, so much & I will keep you posted!!!
Please do!
Hey Diane
How are you doing?
So excited for it to come back in stock!! I'll get one bottle to start spot treatment!!
I think it’s a good idea to just target one area initially and then one bottle should last the 3 months it takes to start seeing results, according to Ivan.

If you don't use a moisturizing cream, your skin will be dry and helpless. Keep applying it no matter what. We all ought to do that.
I was told that if you are a side sleeper, you lose volume. I happen to be a right side sleeper, and I’ve noticed the difference from my left side cheek volume.
That's an interesting point.
This stuff honestly I think it works. I have never used yet but I have seen a woman in YT who had used it and swear by it. The result was astonishing 😮 I need to research more of the product and how safe it is…

Finally somebody talking about this topic! Thank you.I always thought if Ultratherapy etc etc by their heat are helping to reduce fat of hips and rest of the body of course they will do the same with fat face.So i stayed away. But let me tell u another related topic no dermatologist is talking about maybe u succeed in inviting one to explain.I had some light Hialuronic Acid fillers on my face but i tried Retinol Neutrogena very very light concentration.Guess what happened? On spot i lost all the HA effects! The morning nextday i was bright and shinny but slim as before HA fillers....no one has a study on this Retinoids effects over fillers. Please find a honest specialist to talk on this.Thank u! And good job!
Warning don’t get Hifu it ruined my features!
