  • This is the real deal the way nature intended, far superior to any pill or powdered probiotic supplement you might purchase in a store. Make this invigorating tonic and heal your gut microbiome, which is probably severely out of whack due to years of S.A.D. (Standard American Diet). Better health is absolutely possible and within your reach.

I was using nylons and a rubber band for "sprouting lids" way back in the '80s. I was also make sunflower seed cheese using some rejuvelac, Trying to get back into both again. Set both on top of fridge to increase ambient heat. Pro Tip: add a couple thin slices of ginger, or a couple mint leaves for new exciting flavors. Something else you can try with the sprouted wheat berries is Essene Bread, essentially grind up the sprouts, form into thin wafers and sun bake. Nice and chewy. Sun-baked sprout mush and be made from lots of seeds.

@@thrive-like-a-vikingI want to keep making multiple batches and have them available everyday for my family. Today is my first batch with wheat. Next will be with barley .
      My quick questions
      1. Can I save the first batch in the refrigerator and if yes, for how many days.

And we can ALL thank the late, great Ann Wigmore, the mother of Rejuvelac, she is the one who "invented" this living water, she is the one who was the strongest advocate of growing and juicing wheatgrass. She continues to be my hero. Ann Wigmore, Ann Wigmore, the mother of Rejuvelac.

So I made up some green cabbage rejuvelac, slapped some cucumbers into one of the jars as well, and kinda forgot to stir it up once a day. It was now my last jar left, so I cranked it open to find hella white stuff on the top of it including hair or cobweb type material. Well Dr. Robert Cassar says if it's white or green it's just more probitoics, so I simple stirred and SLUGGED! I then proceeded to take some fermented baby-foodized kimchee juice and apply it to various parts of my body that have infections on it, and even put some into my eyes. It's a couple of hours later now, and I got admit, I feel more than a little bit FONKY!

3:10 its green because of the light for the most part
if u have it in a rather dark place it will be more white/yellowish rather than green
and it will be very green if u put infront of a window

. Well I've got a major mess on my hands. I just took out the trash for the first time in weeks(had 5 bags stored up in the bathtub, because I haven't been able to take out the trash around here for the longest time due to a neighbor complication). When I came back inside I realized how bad my place STINKS. It's like a strong gaseous cabbage/detergent type stench, coming directly from the old built-in refrigerator system they had in this building from maybe the 1920's or something that no longer runs, which is where all my ferments are, including my latest batch of extra strength green cabbage rejuvelac. I had always put the jar lids back on not quite sealed shut with my previous ferments, but have just recently started using cut up pieces of old underwear to use as cloth covering like they show in them there UA-cam instructional videos for rejuvelac. Well this stuff has gone EVERYWHERE. All the cloths are SOAKED and flowith over, and there is green mold all over the place, including an old oven mitt that was somehow left in there from who knows what.
I'm thinking of transferring those four jars into the bathtub after a late dinner, but come tomorrow morning I have no idea what to do. I refuse to surrender my liquid life infusion, but that might get me into even more trouble with the MOTHERFUCKERS that live in this building. I haven't even taken a shower in over two months because of the lady that lives underneath me, and the drama has been estatic for the longest time around this place. Everyone I interact with ends in DISASTER, and Liberty won't even talk to me anymore because of this type of stuff. I am way pissed off about that, and I got kicked off that site EIGHT times trying to get back to her to explain the situation, but now IT'S OVER JOHNNY!

So here's an idea. I have some rejuvelac I put some cucumber spears into, and tried it out. It still has a way to go, but instead of cooking or throwing away melon rinds and stuff like that, could I just McPickle that stuff into some type of ferment and then come back for it later?

Do people still do it this way? Just wondering because they don't teach it this way at the Ann Wigmore Institute anymore. Now they're teaching to make rejuvelac from cabbage instead. Why is that? A few years ago I heard they stopped making it from wheat berries because of a bad strain of bacteria that was found in it. Not sure if that was true. And then I hard they switched to making it from Quinoa. They told me to use Quinoa in an email. But when I tried making it from Quinoa it came out smelling like dirty socks. Now their online course only shows it being made from cabbage. So just wondering why they switched.
