I love how as soon as Stuart makes fun of Yamcha, Goku immediately loses his cheerful demeanor to let him know that Yamcha is his friend and that Goku doesn’t like it when people make fun of his friends.
I made sure to keep gokus best traits
Well that and Goku is ultra defensive about yamcha due to the incident in the future timeline.
@@cascada5200 and Yamcha still has the cofited win over Goku,..when he was like 6
someone was bout to die
@@TheLoadingCrew Yamcha is a most loyal friend though...
I do love cell, although I honestly think Teamfourstar has improved upon his character tremendously. The voice acting for Cell was also done amazingly.
Well they had the benifit of hinesight, that helped them a lot with a lot of characters.
Yeah cell also had even more personality
It was done… perfectly?
Team 4Star is great, but the real Cell's better. I watched the Cell Saga again this week, it still holds up as great as ever.
@@mAcChaosCh both cells are great.
MasakoX can shout-out himself seeing as he is still a funny guy. It feels like a reward for consistent comedy.
Loved seeing Goku stand up for Yamcha. Dude's his friend and he won't sit back and watch people be mean to him
Especially sine Yamcha has had Goku's back ever since he was a *kid* in the original Dragon Ball.
At the end of the day Yamcha has a something Vegeta doesn't a victory against Goku
As someone who watches the What If Cell Turned Good series, it honestly makes me wish that something liked it actually happened in Dragon Ball.
There's Xenoverse 2 if you choose Cell as your mentor...
If you ever do an alignment video for Gohan, can you try to get DevilArtemis on board to do some Cell commentary? That could be funny as hell xD
Either him or Takahata101 would be perfect.
@@foreignroninl1555 “Ha, perfect!”
@@nickdeltufo3857 Not gonna lie, I typed that absentmindedly but decided to keep it because of the reference.
@@foreignroninl1555 I dunno, Abridged-Cell doesn't even seem to remember Gohan, even in HFIL. On the other hand, DA-Cell REALLY hates Gohan.
@@GSSAGE7 No Cell acknowledged how he was killed by Gohan in episode 2 of HFIL during the sharing circle.
I do find it interesting that Cell is a mix of the DNA of various fighters. In many ways, he's like a boss rush mode and final boss from a Mega Man game all rolled into one package. The many antagonists of the Dragon Ball franchise being somehow represented. (Except maybe Pilaf, but since he released King Piccolo who birthed Piccolo Jr, I guess he's there in spirit.)
Man the bots have stopped trying to even match the channel they flood the comments of
I wonder what a good Cell would be like. Not like what MasakoX did with the Cell from our timeline and made that Cell good, but instead having the alternate timeline Cell go to our timeline and decide instead of immediately eating an entire city to try and join forces with the Z-Fighters to get 17 and 18.
That just gave me an idea of Cell playing the good guy and revealing what he did to Trunks as a plot twist as he takes 17 and/or 18.
@@ExDragonMaster Almost like a proto-Frost - play the good guy but secretly for his own ends and actually being a backstabbing bastard.
Kinda does that in Masako's "What if Goku Won the 21st Tournament?" although Cell isn't the main focus on that one...
@@ExDragonMaster That could definitely be a direction the story could go but it also doesn't have to.
@@ExDragonMaster That would be a really awesome AU.
I want to see a DBZA version of Cell's alignment. The result would be almost exactly the same, but DBZA is the best version of DBZ hands down and deserves the highlight.
Cool we got Masako, now where is Devil Artimis for Cell lol
Edit: Ah there he is lol
10:07
The delivery of this line in particular completely caught me off guard - fantastic writing as always!
I would like you to maybe do a some of the characters from Lisa the Painful and Lisa the Joyful.
So how many DBZA references should we have?......... yes
God Damn It MasakoX your killing me at the end there! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It sounds like you and Masako both had fun with this, and I certainly enjoyed watching it!
My favorite Cell trivia is being voiced by Dameon Clarke, He shares a voice actor with Handsome Jack. I want to hear him tell a story about Butt Stallion, the Diamond pony in the perfect cell voice.
10:33 the from a single cell is a dub thing, in the original it's his core which is specifically noted to be located in his head, I've seen reports on why it was changed from it''s just a mistranslation, too it was purposely done to remove the plot hole with the instant Kame Ha Me Ha. I always wonder what it actually was?
Although the original reason doesn’t make sense sine Goku BLEW HIS UPPER TORSO THE FUCK UP, including his head.
@@nickdeltufo3857 I’m fairly certain that I heard somewhere (don’t remember where so take it with a grain of salt) that toriyama only came up with the idea of Cell’s core after the instant kamehameha and didn’t realize the contradiction until later
Damn I actually prefer that tbh.
This video is good...needs more muffin button though.
Requesting the Kirby trio, GV, and Copen...and eh, I'll throw in Android 17 too. Just to follow the theming.
How is shin kiko-ho NOT a nat 20 scene?
It's a nat 20 scene in the DBZA version
@@GamerTowerDXit is in the original too. Last time Tien is cool (and I love Tien.)
Really cool you got Masakox to voice in this episode. Gives it a certain charm to it today
Yeah it's nice seeing the character again after DBZ Abridged ended. Like an old friend coming back for Christmas.
was not expecting to hear masako during this one, already got a like from me ^_^
Masako is a gem
Come with me...
And you'll be...
In a world of truly pure perfection...
Masako’s Goku:
> Shows up out of nowhere
> Talks about the Debate of Nature vs Nurture
> Plugs Masako’s channel
> Leaves without explaining anything
8:41 I realize that's Raditz and Ranch. Nice placement MasakoX.
I stand by my theory of TFS Goku being a genius. He's just messing with EVERYONE.
After watching this Cell video, I know wants to see you do Baby from the infamous GT. Considering how similar the two are, it would be quite fascinating
"Similar?" Cell and Baby? Uhh, yeah, that's certainly... a word.
4:13 Reference for the culture 🔥💥🔥
I love the mix of official dub and DBZA audio.
P is for priceless, the look upon your faces.
E is for extinction, of all your puny races.
R for revolution, which will be televised.
F is for how fucked you are, now allow me to reprise.
E is for eccentric, just listen to my song.
C is for completion that I've waited for so long.
T is for terror, upon you I'll bestow.
This song is dare I say, perfect and so is this video
This was such a fun collab, I’ve watched it twice already.
Chaotic evil that pretends he’s lawful evil but when stuff hits the fan he shows his true colors
Loved the episode and the guest appearance. Also here's my rewuest for an assassins creed episode. See yah tomorrow
Good work as always
Cell's "all the best guys combined" isn't what annoys me of him, his design, personality, and fighting style is unique enough, if he got his own beam rather than copy others, then it wouldn't really feel different. What does annoy me is that he doesn't have a good reason to blow up the world, he would get even more of what he wants if he just let people live and always challenged various warriors.
Remember he’s part frezia and frezia’s whole thing blow up planets that either
A. Saiyans
B. To kill his enemies
Fr, Cell is the most likely to be like "Welp, im bored. Im gonna go see what is around the universe. Ill be back later and if you cant beat me ill kill you"
Id love for you to do abridged content. So many seried where abridged characters have become their own unique characters from their canon counter parts. On canon characters that you have already done you could even do a comparison in the post ding analysis.
This was positively splendid
But, you forgot the most important thing, Cell never lied.
Cell is what happens when a rich guy builds a really awesome gym with courts and a pool and shit because he loves basketball, but when the neighborhood kids beat him he locks the doors and burns it to the ground.
It's so good to hear Masako on the channel again. Wonder if we might see Paata(cant spell?) again :P
Can't wait for you to do Mr. Satan! :D
I was hoping that with Kenpachi on the I think "Chaotic Good" part of the chart, there'd be one on this channel for him or Ichigo. Because this was honestly neat.
I know it's indulgent, but I would like to see an alignment video on Masako X's what if scenarios
oh. that shameless plug to masakox's 'what if?'s. i love it
Cell is Rey Palpatine done right. They're both amalgamations of other characters' attributes who are supposed to be superior to everyone who came before yet ultimately failed to meet expectations.
A surprise video to be sure, but a welcome one.
thats what i think whats hard about alignment, cell only did is because he was programmed to do so, i recently played baldurs gate again and when i see my kill count as a hero, its far more then any villain has done befored i killed them.
I mean killing villains that are killing others are not really the same thing :)
@SAU it's still killing
@@ryanclemons1 depends on perspective, to some the hero is the villain
Masato saying DNA had me dying 🤣
You got MasakoX in a video good for you man.
Ainz Ool Gown from Overlord would be fun. At the very least, while I think it's a no-brainer it would just be a great episode on account for not only him but certain others as well. Would recommend, despite following certain isekai tropes
Killing Trunks = Chaotic Neutral?!
1:23 Actually, Cell only has confirmed DNA from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and King Could, for the other Z fighters is just head canon.
People might argue that Cell uses the multi-form technique so it must have Tien's DNA but that's only in anime.
I can see Goku ordering one of your custom Dakimakuras as practice for a "fight"
bet the blow up the earth part was the freeza dna talking
And the Majin Buu Saga is about Candy Addiction...
11:20 is just HFIL episode 2 Frieza’s “oh, look out everyone, ‘I’m fRoM tHe FuTuRe..and I’m made up of EVERYONE’S DNA…I’m so *original* in my *unoriginality* ’”
"Our talks are nice"
The Yamcha Meme us still strong, just yesterday episode of Bocchi the Rock, a surprisingly nice slice of life Anime, used it.
As for Cell, a while back someone oversimplified the reason of the androids saga as "Toriyama wanted to end Dragon Ball with the Namek arc and with Frieza as the last villain but DB's popularity forced him to write two extra arcs (Androids' and Makin Buu's) in which we can see how the quality drops."
I have no idea if this is true but at times it feels like it is at least close.
I'm the Androids' saga we get a returned cyborg Frieza as our first villain only to job for Trunks who warns of even stronger enemies.
Then we get to encounter two androids that are stronger than Frieza, 19 and 20. But there were 3 even stronger androids when you defeat the first ones!
And then there is another even stronger and evilier bad guy.
I wonder what would have happened if Killin or one of the other humans would have asked Bulma to turn them into cyborgs to power up.
Anyways, great video and I hope we get to see some other famous Shonen villains in the future. Bleach is back and people say it is good so maybe there is something there?
Or Makima from Chainsaw Man.
I'd be interesting to see you do Jason Brody from far cry 3
Great video. The only way it could have been better is if you got Mr. Perfect Cell him self Takahata 101.
What alignment is Dr. Tommy Oliver? RIP JDF
The DNA got me.
God I miss dbza. I pray that someday they finish it
i think neutral evil is more in line with cell behavior. he does not care about following or disobeying rules as long as they contribute to good fights. he is not lawful because he does not care about rules, but he is willing to obey them if he see them as useful and interesting.
I would love to see you take a look into some characters from the 2018 She-Ra show! Specifically Catra, Glimmer, Shadow Weaver and Hordak come to mind as characters that do a lot of things for complex reasons which often blur the lines between "good" and "evil!"
That would be awesome to see! My guesses, Catra: CN --> CE --> NG. Glimmer: CG. Shadow Weaver: LE --> TN. Hordak: NE.
...I like how MasakoX said my comment for me
Lawful Perfect
Me sharing this with a friend;
"It features MasakoX! The voice of my spirit animal / the voice I hear in my head when I close my eyes!"
Honestly I am a bit surprised he turned out Chaotic Evil. He always gave off Lawful Evil or at least Neutral Evil vibes to me. I guess that's the interesting thing about these videos, they don't always turn out that way, especially when you ding all their actions individually
i think neutral evil is more in line with cell behavior. he does not care about following or disobeying rules as long as they contribute to good fights. he is not lawful because he does not care about rules, but he is willing to obey them if he see them as useful and interesting.
@@denkard2641 Yeah now that I think about it it seems Neutral Evil but leaning towards Lawful because he just follows the rules he sets when he thinks it would be interesting
6:10 bold of you to assume that a 28 is needed to beat vegeta's ego during cell saga lol
to see DA MasakoX in the same video and it's the Loading Crew. what time line is this?
HA Got my DBCember video afterall
Just going to guess right away: Chaotic Evil
Evil for obvious reasons, and Chaotic relating to the Cell Games, Cell Jr, all the weird unexpected stuff he did.
You might say he's less directly Evil because he's following Gero's programming to kill Goku, but there's so much he does outside of that which is blatantly evil, from threatening to blow up the planet, to playing dirty when he starts losing, to the wanton destruction of property and lives during the broadcast for the Cell Games and constructing the arena.
Gero also wanted to elevate humanity or something, which Cell seems to pretty much never even acknowledge, since the murder and planet destruction things would pretty clearly undo that, along with his threat to go and slaughter throughout the universe for eternity.
EDIT: Oh, interesting! Will this track his 'alignment' throughout his life? That's a neat way to do this sort of thing.
Loving all the DBZA references in this, too.
Masako and Carthu a two great What if channels. I watch Masako because he brings truly unique stories and events based on Dragon Ball (Raditz turned good took a nobody and gave him something). However, Carthu uses his what if's to explain the deeper context of events and what the characters actually are (What if Goku was betrayed and trapped by Beerus is all about how Goku would still try to find the best in people instead of just becoming evil).
Two great creators for 2 completely different reasons. If you want to see the best representation of how manga and Anime characterize people then watch Carthu. If you want the main and minor aspects of characters being put in situations outside of the usual events watch Masako.
cell murders trunks
*true neutral*
right out the gate yall sh!t the bed lmfao
derp...this has been a year...
Magin Boo would be cool. Probably one of the most complex characters with a rich lore while still having a backstory that tracks.
We can prove it goku. You did
I did not know there was a give away. This is awesome. I love the loading crew
@@TheDuelLogs31 hi
He's True Perfect
Is there going to be a Pathfinder 2e version?
So weird to hear the actual dub alongside Abridged Goku...
5:05 Common misconception, Tien isn't actually a full human.
Neutral Evil
Anyone remember that the beam struggle started on the ground. But ended with Gohan falling to the ground from up high?
You know I'd be curious what cell from the devilartemis universe alignment would be?
hehehe i saw that "frieza in the shower"
"Perfect Evil"
Cell is my favorite DBZ villain.
He will always be chaotic-evil.
Because of that favoritism, however, I would love for him to return and become the most Perfect chaotic-neutral being in the universe.
Much like his DevilArtemis counterpart.
Though, the only way I think that could make canonical sense is if he’s brought back to life and exposed to the current events that have taken place since the end of the Cell Games. Being humbled by the new power scaling. Motivating him to train and get stronger to take his Perfection to new heights.
Inso doing, he would try to refrain from going back to Hell, but not necessarily try to make sure that if he does die again that he goes to Heaven. He just doesn’t want to go back to Hell.
It would be a slow process and he would always be a hair’s breathe away from going back to his old ways; teetering between neutrality and evil.
The final act of redemption being that he actually tries to save the Earth, Gohan, Goku, 17, 18, and/or their children because he doesn’t want them to die. Being with and around them so frequently teaches him empathy since he is no longer driven by absorbing people to become Perfect. Thinking about what would happen to them after they die and not wanting them to suffer the same fate as he once did in the Home For Infinite Losers.
Because, “very few people in this world deserve such an eternal torment as I do”.
“All this effort to achieve my Perfection and I’m nothing but second-fiddle.”
Basically, he’s humbled by the fact he knows now what it feels to be like Krillin.
Within Dragon Ball logic, that makes sense. Only Goku and Vegeta get stronger constantly, and only Frieza gets the same power development. I could see Cell becoming a heavy hitter literally on par with the Androids during the Tournament of Power.
You know I'd like a Dragon Ball video where a literal parody wasn't influencing it for once.
oof
9:08 I'd say that's less evil, since he didn't do that to gain an advantage on his opponent, or to save himself from defeat.
A video on Violet Evergarden please!
DBZA Frieza kind of beat you to the punch on this 11:27
Hearing the Word "MARKETING" in DBZA!Goku's voice. ( Not Regular Lawrence) triggers me in ways i did not know possible... Is this what Vegeta feels?
Actually, wouldn't Cell letting Goku go after insulting him about the ring be more lawful neutral. Since Goku did not act overtly hostile towards Cell?
P is for Perfection
What is this a crossover episode?
Hey, can I get a link to dragon ball abridged? All I get is people talking about it not the actual videos.
I was expecting the ad to be a cell daki. I'm glad that it wasn't, but still disappointed.
Alastor when?
Trinston was here
Hm, how very interesting.
Actually, I wonder now, what is a D&D Alignment? And do you mean by it?
