      Hiya I use a towel for most circumstances. Tbh if it's quick maintenance washes then perfection needs to be dropped to say 90% instead of 100% or your be there all day so it's knowing when to stop. Depending on how brave you are, dare I say it but hold the wet vac close. Most come with rubber tips these days 👌

    Watching this makes me dread my first car wash....Is there a method to wash just a part of the car, i.e. the hood while in the garage without using lots of water?
    Also, storing this car for now (because of the insane market and values going up...) so I think I may have to hire somebody to come over to me, wash and whatnot. What makes it harder I think is that halff the car is satin, half regular normal clear coat...because why not suffer! lol

    How would you go about waxing/protecting satin/matte paintwork? What’s the best products to use?

    • @olliebt6761
      @olliebt6761 Рік тому

      Very limited options. There are a couple of waxes designed for matte paint. But the most common route is Ceramic or PPF (again, designed specifically for matte paint)
      Standard waxes, and even shampoo with gloss enhancers can damage the matte finish, sometimes leaving a permanent oily residue on the surface...
