Great video, thank you so much, I learned a lot and found the products I need to clean and conserve the black matte paint on my 1983 Porsche 944, your tutorial is worthy of my investment.
Thank You!
Thank you so much sharing your knowledge!
Another outstanding car care video! Even after I think I’ve learned it all from Coleton, he continues to share next level nuggets of good tips and info! Thanks!
This is so helpful as I just bought the matte Blue EV9
Coleton, excellent tutorial on cleaning matte paint. Also, your delivery of information is great. Clear and simple for us amateurs. The Polestar looks stunning after you've worked your magic. Thank you!!
Excellent tutorial. Matte and satin paints are a whole other animal. While the wash regimen is the same, they can easily be damaged by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Unfortunately, many people are getting into the detailing who tend to do first and then ask questions on how to "undo" the damage they cause.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve been hoping you’d cover mat paint. Both my new trike and my new car are going to be mat colours.
Good job!
Informative video. Like it. What would you do if on a glossy car hood there are two matte stripes and one would like to apply ceramic coating?
Great job I would not have the paitence or the equipment
Thank you Coleton for all of the incredible advice. Which of your recommended products should be used to enhance/ protect all of the exterior plastic trim (thinking wheel arches, trim on door bottoms, on R1T)? Thanks so much - love the channel.
Hey Adam, check out I video I put out awhile ago on the channel talking plastic trim!
Will do. Thanks so much.
Would you use bug off on a car that's been coated? (not sure it will be needed yet but love bug season hasn't hit yet either).
Maybe i missed it. What is the dilution ratio you used here for the P&S bugoff ? Love that you foam on top of it and let it sit !
Damn that's a good looking car.
Would it be ok to use a matte waterless wash on my matte paint until I can get it ppf’d and ceramic coated?
You used to use Carpro HydrO2 for an easy layer of water protection. Are Gyeon Wet Coat and Carpro interchangeable?
I prefer wetcoat. Similar products. Wetcoat is better
@@OutofSpecDetailing Thanks Coleton!
over useing Gyeon spray coat it's not good. it will make the surfice sticky after its dry.
Do a lot of cars actually have matte PAINT? Is this the same as a wrap?
No, it’s paint. It’s not common, found on BMW’s (frozen) and MB’s (magno) mainly. It’s a matte clear coat rather than a gloss clear coat.
You said “this paint has no protection”. I was under the impression that there really aren’t any protectants for matte paint?
There are tons of options. Stay tuned for the next video
I’ve seen a couple like 2 or 3 polestar in the east coast where can I get more details on getting one
Videos are too long…
I’d rather have a long video with useful information than a short video where people have a million questions because I didn’t cover them 🤔
Love the long videos!
I love the long videos too
Some of us like the details of his videos.
