I think it's worth making the investment and buying the best you can afford. How much do these run out at? What is the best way to stay cool while drumming. If you are playing in a packed venue it can get really hot and exhausting.. You mentioned ghost notes in one of your earlier videos. What are they? I have heard the term used about guitar guitar playing.
Regarding staying cool....... fans are a must and a lot of drummers consider it part of the kit. It can get hot and so always important to stay hydrated with electrolytes and water.
And finally, ghost notes are subtle notes played at a low volume to enhance a beat or fill. They are played "in between" the main notes and add nuance by filling the spaces with almost unheard notes. I'm planning to do some covers shortly and will demonstrate. A good example to listen to is Rosanna by Toto. Jeff Picaro plays a lot of subtle notes between the main notes of the beat.
Hi @roybeckerman9253! The standard model rises to a max of 24" but there is an extended version available that will go to a height of 30". Hope that helps!
Your posts should come with a warning notice. Groupies are not interested in drummers. The only ones interested in me are ones that have been groupies when The Beatles were on the go. If I had known this before I would have taken up the guitar or singing.
What drum throne are you using and how do you find it? I'm curious to get people's thoughts on what they think is the best.
used these when playing drums when other bands have backlined, I love the easy adjustment that these type of thrones have, definitely gonna get one
@tylerking - Yes, one of the best features is the quick easy height adjustment! No more spinning or manual adjusting
Nice choice with the ergonomic saddle style.
Yes, honestly it's the best piece of kit I've bought recently. Really makes a difference for comfort and being able to play longer, without pain. 🥁🤘🤘😊

So many questions! haha The Roc n Soc runs about $225 USD, depending on where you buy. And I definitely think it's worth the investment.

Lol, singers and guitarists have all the luck! 😂
