It has been kinda my goal for the last 6 months but the problem is that I’m doing everything… synced, including hard contents for example the coils of bahamut took me 2months synced 🙃especially t9 and t13 that really stopped my story progression lol (bc my job takes up 5 days of my time so I can only go hardcore geek mode for 48hrs, in perspective if I didn’t have a job it would’ve taken me 2 weeks probably) I do every side content, that means every unlockable dungeon, raid, trials and alliance raids, and I got side quests ocd so I clear the maps every time by doing those damn fetch quests 😭 right now I’ve got 558 hrs of playtime and I just finished the first part of heavensward, cleared the Alexander raids on normal and did every side dungeon, looking forward to do my first savage raid although apparently doing the coils synced is already kinda savage level lol And I also do my relics lol, but I’ll probably just get to Cronus Lux for drk since it’s the only one that really interest me and actually do the others unsynced later
i'm was just about to enter the final dungeon of shb when my sub ran out. now i'm torn if i have to wait or get a month to finish msq before endwalker.
I am sidetracking with crafting jobs and other classes.... I really need to get to Shadowbringers on my main job which is MSQ 65 or something at level 69
Don’t waste your time gearing non-mains. Within a day or two of starting the expansion your main will be getting tomes faster than you can spend them and at level 83 the dungeon gear will be equal to or better than the best tome gear from Shadowbringers. Not to mention, after no more than a couple of days people will already be on levelling roulette runs and running it with level 90 gears.
Assuming she means some decent gear. It really easy to get 520 gear from multiple places. It's not mandatory by any means but if your doing stuff the why not. Having 400 gear feels bad trying to do anything in a new exp.
Not at level 83, if the trend from sb to sbh holds. Especially not vendor gear. Currently gear from Dohn Megg is the same ilvl Augmented Scaevan but your weapon damage will only start increasing from lvl 75 gear onwards.

I started FF14 in early August. I’m finally about to touch Heavensward. I’m a school teacher and with school in full swing, super busy schedule. I’m real nervous I won’t make it to Endwalker in time. Guess it’s a good problem to have.
I'm in the same spot as you. I just hit Heavensward a few days ago. I only get an hour or two at night before bed some days. I'm with you in the race to finish!
Started around the same time as you but I am lucky as I can WFH. However, even I spent almost 6-8 hrs per day, I just finish 5.0 now and having problem to get the ilvl 530 gears... so... good luck bro...
I started Eureka a few weeks ago and I think it's having a bit of a renaissance at the moment. Instances are usually active with fate trains running, people levelling, baldesion arsenal runs being organised pretty much constantly
As a new player, these sorts of videos are great to see, as I just finished the MSQ and I'm sort of overwhelmed with the sheer amount of things I need to do! All the blue quests I didn't do, the raids and optional dungeons, Eureka (And now Bozja)... theres simply too much to get done! Of course, this is a good problem to have, and at least I know I'll have plenty to do for a while yet, but knowing whats MOST most important before EW drops is nice :)
Have you done the crystal tower raids before Shadowbringer expansion? If you have ignore my comment but if you haven't you should do it since there's important connection between them.
@@akemibarrera1961 crystal tower is mandatory now for sprouts, the game wont allow them to finish ARR until they do all three raids so they understand shadowbringers
@@robinvermeersch6349 i think it's, i just finished ARR, and i remember while doing later patch's content, reading a note saying that i would need to crystal tower's progress to keep doing MSQ after a certain point. i don't know how "locked" it was going to be, because i completed crystal tower, not long after i unlocked it.
I have been new to FF14 and have just passed my first 2 months. I've been very proud to call myself a bun and join your discord. Everyone, in the discord and out, has been very friendly and contributed to the best MMO exoerience have had to date. Level 75 Dark Kight Powering through! Should finish the the story before spending any more Gil on the mog station, that's for sure...
Thank you I was looking for a video like this because as a “new” player I just finished all the MSQ and am now “current.” Afterwards I just stood there and was like…well now what?
Wow, didn't know that Eorzea Collection site existed until this video so this will be a perfect way to go for the gear I want to use for glamour purposes on my main classes in the future then.
That site is crazy, I thought it was an official site at first. The WoW / Instagram / Narcissus community is active, but my God the FFXIV glamour scene puts it to absolute shame.
Eureka's story could tie in to Endwalker plot points, particularly Krile, her father, and the Students of Baldesion. The Isle of Val itself might also be referenced again, since I believe it was procured from the Sharlayans in the first place.
Something I didn't hear you mention that I think is as important as gearing up is maxing out all of your tomestones. Once Endwalker drops, if the last few expansions are anything to go by, all your tomestones will be exchangable for Poetics, and Poetics will be able to be used to buy Augmented Cryptlurker gear, meaning you can quickly catch up on gear with any level 80 class you have
@@CianaCorto true, but you need to max out Allegory and Revelation too, that way you have more than the 2000 maximum Poetics to spend at the start of Endwalker by trading them in for more Poetics
@@bobdole4eva1 Thats a balancing act. If you max out early, they just sit there and you waste the runs where you dont acquire more. Theres no reason to sit on tomestones that could be used to buy 520 or 530 gear just to exchange them for poetics so you can buy 520 or 530 gear XD
@@st3vorocks290 sure, spend them if you're maxed already or you need anything. But taking myself as an example, my main class is maxed out on gear and I've got about 6 other classes with ilvl over 500, so I'm going to slowly max out Revelation, allowing my to fill in the gaps on any of those classes come Endwalker
Is the main way to get allegories and revelations by doing daily roulettes with a level 80 character? I just started playing 6 weeks ago and I got my SMN to 80 and immediately switched to leveling alts with my dailies (74 BLM, 73 DNC, 63 DRG). Should I stop doing that and switch to my 80 for my dailies?
It’s funny, I bought the same mouse on a whim a long time ago and I love it! Some advice though, if you use that same model mouse download the Logitech software for that mouse and set the G-shift button (third mouse button) to ctrl. I had an issue of button locking during intense gameplay and that fixed it.
Omg ME TOO, it kept locking it to were it was automatically pressing the g-shift , and if I pressed esc it would tab me out, I’ve had no issue since I switched it to ctrl
Yeah, I also have this mouse and do the same thing. The older software is way better and the g shift button is kinda wonk by default, so this is great advice.
I just bought the G600 too and it's been a godsend, but downloading the old Logitech Gaming Software program is absolutely critical. I tried using the newer GHub software with it and it crashed my computer every single time I started the program.
Coming back late because I wanted to give one more tip about this mouse: I modded mine to reduce the weight. This thing is HEAVY out of the box, and I'm not a small person. There are a few steel weights inside that you can just remove; it's not difficult or technical but you do need some dexterity and a gentle touch to take it apart and put it back together without breaking any wires. Also a couple bucks for replacement skates (you have to peel off the originals in order to access the screw holes for disassembly, rendering them useless). After you've got it open, just remove the screw securing the weights (you'll know them when you see them), take the weights out, and put the screw back in. Go slow when taking it apart and be careful not to drop anything and it should be fine.
i'm gonna be pre ordering EW on either the 30th September or the 1st October and then i will use the earring and the ring to lvl up most of my classes to 60
I've been playing for a couple of weeks now, I'm smitten with this game! Getting slightly stressed, as I'm only in the beginning of HW, so I will definitely not get Relic weapons, or raid mounts in time for EW, but I may be able to finish all MSQs with my main job, astro
If you can log a few hours a day and more on the weekend you can comfortably finish each expansion in 2 weeks or maybe even less. I personally came back 26 days ago and I was at the start of stormblood,. At the 4th mission to be specific. I'm slowly doing 5.1 of post shadowbringers now while I farm mounts from EX trials everyday.
As someone who has been playing the game for the last 3.5+ years I feel its not really that critical to rush anything or be fully prepped. The only reason to do it really is to capitalize on gil making potential in the very early days of the expansion when everything is in super high demand. This is mostly only a crafting/gathering issue, however and these days the price spike usually only lasts a few days at best before the market is simply flooded. I feel also that gil isn't super important in this game, especially once you have your crafters and gatherers maxed out. The game is very much setup to be played at whatever pace anyone feels like without ever being truly left behind. Case in point, you are starting 8 years late, have been playing for a couple of weeks and can be caught up enough by the time EW drops that it doesn't really matter. Cheers and GL, glad you are enjoying the game!
Thank you so much for the video!🙏🏼. As a fresh lvl80 player, finishing up the Msq, I was completely lost on what to do. This gives me exactly all the information I needed.
Also, since belts are leaving, I’ve been trading all my old belts for GC seals. I don’t know if they’ll just disappear day 1 of EW, but I thought I’d get something out of them before they are gone.
They won't disappear, though if you were wearing them they will go to the Calamity Salvager. They will become inventory items you can hold onto if you want for nostalgia purposes, and I imagine you will probably still be able to cash them in for GC seals, but that will depend on exactly how they get dummied out. I'll probably keep just one belt as a souvenir, but otherwise do as you've described in the days before pre-early-access maintenance.
My laptop's off for repairs for a few weeks, so I'm spending the time replaying MSQ on an alt. I've forgotten like 90% of it at this point. It's my second attempt replaying, so hopefully I actually make it to HW this time XD
So tired of the fearmongering about the stat squish and unsyncing. Yoshida said he understands how important it is to the players and even if its a bit rough at release they'll get it adjusted.
As a viera main, I’ve been collecting modern aesthetics because I have this delusion that I’ll be able to equip them in Endwalker at some point. Is anyone else wondering why SE implemented male viera when they haven’t fixed the pre-existing issues with female yet?
If you look at the Lvl 90 Ninja artifact gear, it’s a Viera with one of the purchaseable ponytails, so its safe to assume you’ll be able to wear atleast some of them, if not all hopefully!
@Jay Bee Actually, I would call the lack of hairstyles a pre-existing issue, while not being able to use modern aesthetics also fit into that category. I have accepted I can barely wear hats, that's fine by me - circlets and some hats are enough. That does not mean we can disregard that Yoshi-P still stated 2+ years ago to look forward to upcoming patches as they even publicly announced that eventually, they would be able to give the Viera more hairstyles due to us having next to no variety. Viera are not the only one's who have issues that need to be fixed, Hrothgar out of all the races are very hard done by considering they need to fantasia just to change their hairstyle (No wonder barely anyone plays as them) I was just saying, I'd rather they fix the current problems before implementing new races that may also come with the same baggage therefore double the workload. Also, just to ask, where is the source of your claim that Viera 'always intended to be a limited race' ? I can't find any information where developers have said that.
When she mentioned doing all the job quests, it makes me really excited, cause that has the slightest chance that Sidurgu Orl will be a part of the MSQ. :)
I'm in the same boat. I'll get to Endwalker when I get there, seems no sense to me in rushing through everything. The content will still be there when I'm ready for it.
Yeah I mean is there even a reason to rush to finish every expansion before Endwalker? I'm confused. I'm also still on the base game, just started playing a month ago.
No worries, no hurries 🙂 Take your time and enjoy the game as it was meant to be played. The content isn't going anywhere and Endwalker will be there when to get to it.
Forgot to mention your crafting and gathering jobs, especially the gathering jobs! Loads of new pickings to be had once the expansion is live and those rare mats will require high-end gear
2 things I would suggest: 1, level astrologian, the job quests have lore about sharlayan which can give you a better idea of where we are going next. 2, level your non combat classes, if you intend to do savage raids when they come out and dont have enough gil to buy ul’dah, getting them up during the month before savage can make you self sufficient to not have to spend a fortune, or even capitalise on people too lazy.
Haven’t really been active for a couple of months but I have pretty much got everything ready, cleared pretty much all content other than ultimates, got multiple relics, got gear and glams ready, got my inventory cleared, got level boosts at the ready and can’t wait, I’m probably gonna play other games in the meantime because I know I will be playing this religiously when endwalker drops 👍🏻
Wish I could just unsync the trials to get the mounts but I'm lvl 62 scrub so not even full geared to do it yet. Also I LOVED solo duties with Noctis they teached me a lot of mechanics before I jump into raids. such as stack markers / pillars.
It sucks because even fully geared and leveled you still need at least an extra player or two to "solo" lvl60 trials for doggos and of course more for the higher level trials. Only Kirin is easily soloable.
Keep in mind: You can exchange current tomestones for Poetics once the new expansion drops! The exchange rates we've seen in the past are either 2:1 or 4:1. So if you have capped your Poetics, Allegory, and Revelation before Endwalker drops, you should be able to get at least *3000* Poetics in Endwalker day 1! That _should_ be enough to buy an augmented Cryptlurker weapon, a full set of left-side gear (chest, legs, hat, gloves, boots), and one accessory. If we get the better exchange rate, it could even be almost enough to buy a full set, accessories included (total 4055 if you don't have the preorder earring). So definitely consider trying to cap your tomestones, even if you don't play frequently! We've still got several weeks to go, so you only need like 300 a week to cap all of them and that's not too much time investment even for Revelation (e.g. doing pixie quests can get you 105 of that every week--then you'd need just 2ish experts or 4 Alliance raid roulette per week.)
I’m happy to say I went through this ZeplaHQ checklist with success! I’m definitely on the right track! Still a few tidbits to take care of. And time goes by so fast when you’re having fun! But MSQ, Coils and Omega are done. And I spent 6 hours today (yeah I know) freeing up storage space lol. The side content comment worries me somewhat. If things get cut/removed/modified while unfinished it will likely mean starting over, or missed opportunities. Let’s see how it goes. All the best folks! No special mouse for me however. I’m good. 😉 Thank you ZeplaHQ! Stay safe. ❤️
Just in case you're a new player planning to unlock Bozja, make sure you have a LOT of time available. You need to run through all the Stormblood alliance raids and that content is dead by now. 30-60 minute queues are normal (running a healer) and expect quite a few wipes going through it as there are many first-timers with no idea about mechanics or just no experience with the raid having hard time noticing everything. Setting aside two hours per raid is a pretty good idea to be sure you can finish it even in the worst case.
Yeah i heard they lowering stats overall and removing belts looking forward to more craftable glamours from the new expansion tho. Also ishgard housing is nice since more lots
I have a couple of personal goals to do before Endwalker such as leveling the main jobs I think I'll play and maybe the rest if I have time, but the nice thing is that I don't really feel any particular rush since it doesn't seem like any content will be going away. With WoW, I felt pressured into doing several things before the newest expansions came out, i.e. in Legion it was the Mage Tower weapon appearances, in BfA it was the Heart of Azeroth essences and getting the right corruptions to feel like I could even compete in both PvE and PvP (and that was such a shitty system anyways that I really shouldn't have bothered)
love how they say to do the side stuff, and yet I just finished ShB main 5.0. but for someone who's new there's no way I can get the relic weapon maxed out in time. and I do want to play EW at launch. but dang there's sometimes too much to do in this game lol
You can do the relic start to finish in a few weeks or a month. There is more than enough time to complete it even at a quite casual pace. I no lifed it in about 5 days from scratch.
You don't have to craft the Grade 3 Wheels of Confrontation. You can buy them off the MB and then prime them. So if you don't have the schematic unlocked for it but you have access to the Aetherial Wheel, you can buy the wheels from people that sell them.
Since shadowbringers i decided to skip on shb savages to work on old stuff aiming mostly mounts, i got every extreeme mount, both rival wings mounts, HW savage mounts, SB savage mounts, PoTD mount, both HoH mounts, all Eureka mounts, every bozjan mount, the blue mage mount, every triple triad card for the mount, both unreal mounts and every Goldsaucer one time purchase mounts and items. Heck even got every non event/mogstation orchestrion roll and became a saint of the firmament along the way while getting the mounts from there (no pteranodon yet but someday). From ShB im still missing ramuh and eden mounts. Not sure if ill get em before endwalker but currently having 152 mounts and missing 18 from mogstation makes me happy.
As a Steam-based trial player currently saving in order to buy the full game (Earliest I will likely be able to is December), I am: -Sad that I won't be able to do most of this before Endwalker -Excited to see what Endwalker (and everything before it) brings -Eager to learn things, especially regarding that inventory management video ;D
I always dread the twice a expansion inventory cleanup that I try to do. Been putting it off for months now. You encouraged me to buckle down and get it done😅
Finished HW now doing all the in between patches and HW raid and Alexander. On my way to Stormblood. Hopefully lvl 80 and MSQ finished when endwalker releases. Already did the Coils unsynced thanks to the wonderfull lvl 80s who showed a sprout their godly Bahamut killing prowes. Really nice to experience the coils story when I was in ARR patches. Thanks for the tips and heads up Zepla. If I'll arrive at 80 in time I'll definitely do unsynced raids for my farm animal mounts. Also ARR story was nice but HW story 😭😭😭. So emotionally invested.
About Bozjan, my guess it will be active on the 1st week after EW release because there will be plenty who wants to level up Reaper and Sage, but yeah as you said it could be dying down at least for a while.😅
Hang in there! The ARR patch MSQ is rough, but it gets really good at the end. Highly suggest you do the Crystal Tower raids while you're there too as they're compulsory for Shadowbringers.
@@firalia I only did those when I first needed to, I'm in Stormblood right now and trying to finish the main MSQ myself. If I have to say all of this seems overwhelming for someone like me being new to the game.
regarding the Logitech g600. I had tried the G600 a long time ago and I had a problem with it because of its width. I eventually settled on the Razer Naga which was much easier to get used to because it doesn't have the 3rd mouse click button (that was part of my issue.. trying to right click and was clicking the wrong one.. it was awkward) anyways I am sure like most things everyone will find one they like the best :) Great Video and thanks for all the info
Its more overwhelming to me and I'm like I'm going to do my own thing. I'm new and In sure a lot of people are and aren't worried about a lot of these things to do before Endwalker comes out.
the stat squish worries me. i'm at 300hrs now and haven't even finished the heavensward msq. i really hope old challenges won't become a pita before i get a chance to get the rewards.
Upgrading my crafting tools and trying to finish ShB MSQ, Coils, and Crystal Tower series. That will be enough, and if I don't finish, no biggie. I don't collect mounts, so no issue there. Might finish Omega. But if I'm not ready to start the EW MSQ at launch, no biggie. It will still be there.
@@sabrina1646 haha ya but at the same time there will be youtubers out here spoiling shit with their thumbnails so I mean we gotta pick up the pace a bit lol
I started the game last year, but was super intimidated by content in the beginning, so I only really began doing raids recently. I've focused mainly on Eden because I really am interested in where it goes storywise, but I didn't get all of the way through Omega, so I need to get started back on that. and I also need to do Bozja and better motivate myself for Eureka. Thank you.
so for me as someone who only done the Alliance raids so far. do the normal raids (with HW and SB once being more optional) and get to Bozja front (i think i also need eureka to unlock bozja but i'm not sure). Whilst leveling my GBR and MCH. Thanks for the focus.
You should open up that g600, and take out the two steel weights in it. Its relatively easy to do and makes the g600 the second most usable mmo on the market. it drops about 20 grams and makes it just a bit heavy rather than a brick.
This year, I already cleared 9s-11s, all Alexander & Omega savages, most of Shadowbringers Trial Extreme, Delubrum Reginae Savage and thanks god I finally cleared an ultimate, cleared UWU 3 times and will do more reclear for weapons! Now I need to grind Fending and Maiming eureka armor before Endwalker, still in Pagos lvl 32 tho, wish me luck!
The writer suggested you just do everything before Endwalker. Well, that certainly ISN'T overwhelming for someone who just started. Not at all. It only took me 114 hours to finish ARR and I still can't even decide on a job. Make sure you DO EVERYTHING. Trying to level ANYTHING takes an hour per level or so, because DPS queues are SO LONG anymore.
If you are a player who just started, you shouldn't be worried about Endwalker at all. It takes a long time to get through the expansions. Worth it though.
Another thing for crafters/gathers is to level and gear up your retainers. The higher the ilvl is on pve retainers the more they can bring back, very useful in the beginning for leather and some alchemy crafts. For gather retainers the higher their gathering stat the more they will return with.
Can gear up pve retainers with NQ crafted gear or use Boz/Zadnor armors or Eden stuff. For gatherers you will need HQ left and NQ right accessories or you can do white scrips and get them ivl 500 gear that way. Can also put some +15 gather materia on the crafted guaranteed slots to get the stat a bit higher
I've been using this mouse for years and it is FANTASTIC. I use the third top mouse button as a space bar. Using that alongside my Razer Orbweaver Chroma I only touch my keyboard to type "tyfp" in chat lol
If bozja is really good for leveling, then wouldn't that be where the reaper/sages go? Like they did in PotD for SB and dancer/gunbreakers I think did with HoH for SHB?
For guys and girls who have small hands like me but dont want to many buttons on the mouse, i suggest the logitech G604. about 9ish,10? buttons. and they protrude out to feel what buttons you are pressing so you dont have to keep looking at them. Enough for me to use alot of hotbars but not to many to where i cant tell what button im pressing and im not relying on it. (thats if you use Q,E and Z,X,C as well as i reassigned my keybinds)
Another thing to consider doing before Endwalker drops, but isn't in FFXIV itself. Playing FFIV, since there's going to be references to it in this expansion. I think it just got a Steam release too.
My goal? Getting my healer and tank classes to lvl 80 so I can finish (for healer) and do (for tank) the other 2 role quest chains so I can do the void quests. Along the line, working on Resistance weapons and Save the Queen story.
Aight, I need to find stuff to do in FFXIV before Endwalker/ I could finish the Omega raids, get some relic weapons for fashion, maybe try sav-*Metroid dread October 8th*... Hmm, I think I have time before Endwalker
Me: "Play Shadowbringers MSQ" :D The stat changes also reduce Enemy HP and Damage. So I think they will even it out but lower overall values. The 51-80 level range will be truncated, with maximum damage being reduced and the experience curve/rewards being adjusted as well. They want to stress that you're not actually getting weaker, and enemy HP will be adjusted accordingly so everything still feels the same. Expect values to be roughly 1/5th of their current amount.
Warning about the g600. In around 4 year mark you will have to replace the left or right click switches due to double, triple or even quadruple clicking issues since it comes with the Chinese made omron switches instead of the Chinese ones. Thankfully the Japanese switches do fit in there, you will just need to desolder the old and resolder the new
Lol, I started playing 2 months ago and only just now got to Stormblood. Only way I could be ready for Endwalker is if I focused _solely_ on plowing through the story. Realistically I could do it, I slogged through all those post-ARR quests in four days, but I keep getting distracted by other things in the game, like beast tribe stuff, running the Alexander questline, etc. I'd rather take things at my own pace, and Endwalker will be there when I'm ready for it.
In terms of goals, what I'm personally doing and which I can recommend is: get any old and not too complicated achievements out of the way. In my case, I've been finishing the achievements for crafting a certain number of items per level bracket and crafting 5K HQ items per job. I've also been attempting some older raids undersize, and recently got my snake mount from O4S. Before that I got all of my tank mounts and also got the achievements for 500 high-level duties for each tank while I was at it. Apart from that, I'm slowly working on getting every HW relic. I also plan to go back to Eureka to max my level and attempt Baldesion Arsenal. I've finished the Bozja story but will be finishing at least one main relic weapon before touching Eureka. Do you think we'll be able to desynth Edenmete and Cryptlurker belts when EW comes out? I was saving them just in case to get some XP for LTW and WVR. That's another thing I would recommend for those early desynth levels in Endwalker: use whatever extra tomestones to buy pieces that you can use to level one or several of the crafters.
Farmed anima weapons and eureka weapons on the main 5 jobs I want to carry through endwalker (drk, rdm, drg, nin, ast). Got all my glams ready for those jobs and for sage/reaper. Got all my savage mounts from unsync content. Caught up on story. All set for EW :)
The way I understand it, content done at lvl 80 might be affected, but you should be back to full power and more by lvl 90. So in theory, shouldn't be harder, if not easier, when geared at lvl 90.
I have exact same mouse! Plus I have my hot bar setup like the 12 buttons on the side so it's easy to know where to press the buttons! I love it! Glad it works out for you too! One set I use is the buttons by themselves are GCDs and then pressing Shift (or in this case the far far right button as the shift key heheh) are OGCDs. Makes having to press more buttons alot more simpler!
My goal before EW is to get all hw and bozja weapons cause I'm crazy. I think Bozja will still be pretty active at the start of EW as everyone works to get reaper and sage from 71 to 80. Might even be a good gil-maker to sell the fragments that give good healer and melee lost actions 🤔
If you’re like me, and you started playing this year, the goal might be to actually finish ShB in time for the expansion.
I don’t think I’ll even finish ARR till Endwalker, lmao. I’m playing for like 4 months and just finished 2.1.

Reasonable goals before Endwalker: beat and farm everything.
Ah yes, of course.
I know right? LUL. Literally, do every single damn content out there. Relic this relic that
Unsync means to go back and do early content while still at max ilvl and stuff, you can blast through it in like a minute.

@@sergezede Oh yeah, my comment is for people whose second jobs are already level 80. :)
If you dont do too much side content you could make it just in time
The expansion isn't going anywhere take your time and enjoy the story there's no need to rush
Started around the same time as you but I am lucky as I can WFH. However, even I spent almost 6-8 hrs per day, I just finish 5.0 now and having problem to get the ilvl 530 gears... so... good luck bro...
Be strong. Be focused. Finish all expansions in time. Be a champion.
Thank you, I’m level 80 and had no idea I still needed to “return to The Waking Sands”
I started Eureka a few weeks ago and I think it's having a bit of a renaissance at the moment. Instances are usually active with fate trains running, people levelling, baldesion arsenal runs being organised pretty much constantly
Surprisingly it's been that way the entirety of Shadowbringers.
I kind of don't see a point in those as the gear is going to be replaced in two months, so not worth it unless you want glam.
Will it be super difficult to do this content after 6.0 drops if no one is doing it? I only just started and haven't made it out of HW even.
@@zipzap8937 In Aether Eureka is very active, there shouldn't be an issue
@@Kuroganemk2 you underestimate how important glamour is to MMO players

You don't "need" to do anything. For the next expac, only the MSQ is required.

Wow, didn't know that Eorzea Collection site existed until this video so this will be a perfect way to go for the gear I want to use for glamour purposes on my main classes in the future then.
Oh yeah, it's a best kept secret in the community unless you heard by word or browse thru twitter 😄
Awesome site 🙂
I do wish that the gearsets portion was up to date
Check out FFXIV collection / FFXIV armory as well! It has updated gearsets all the way up to SHB.
That site is crazy, I thought it was an official site at first. The WoW / Instagram / Narcissus community is active, but my God the FFXIV glamour scene puts it to absolute shame.
so is it more for fashion or for actual useful sets? I've always been curious about the game but I think ima start playing it
Eureka's story could tie in to Endwalker plot points, particularly Krile, her father, and the Students of Baldesion. The Isle of Val itself might also be referenced again, since I believe it was procured from the Sharlayans in the first place.
Something I didn't hear you mention that I think is as important as gearing up is maxing out all of your tomestones. Once Endwalker drops, if the last few expansions are anything to go by, all your tomestones will be exchangable for Poetics, and Poetics will be able to be used to buy Augmented Cryptlurker gear, meaning you can quickly catch up on gear with any level 80 class you have
You can max out poetics in a few hours if you do hunts
I used to use that mouse back in Mass Effect 2 was fresh. It's such a HUGE advantage.

I've been playing for a couple of weeks now, I'm smitten with this game! Getting slightly stressed, as I'm only in the beginning of HW, so I will definitely not get Relic weapons, or raid mounts in time for EW, but I may be able to finish all MSQs with my main job, astro
Take your time and just soak it all in! Glad you're enjoying it!
You gonna finish the MSQ easily before Endwalker, don't worry.
Since astro is your main at least your queue times will be non-existent! That's a lot of time saved right there!!!
They said they're going to keep the ones you have in some capacity and that they'd have a notice of what to do with them before the patch.
They'll go to the calamity Sala ager. You can grab them and remove your Materia, sell them, turn them in for GC seals, desynth them.
I do recommend get the Speed Belt, just to show off since it's the best Belt in the game 😄
@@SuikodenGR I imagine since it has some significance as a BiS item for eureka, they'll probably do something with it as well.
Good luck!
So tired of the fearmongering about the stat squish and unsyncing. Yoshida said he understands how important it is to the players and even if its a bit rough at release they'll get it adjusted.
I started playing two weeks ago and I have absolutely no idea what’s going on here, but the enthusiasm does it for me lol
@@Dedric_Price *My previous comment applies to you too.

I'm in the same boat. I'll get to Endwalker when I get there, seems no sense to me in rushing through everything. The content will still be there when I'm ready for it.
@Jay Bee Lack of Tanks will make me happy. :D Instant queue times for my Paladin!

"Just solo Coils"
- me who tried that, and got my ass handed to em ;;--;;
"Some people may not know what retainers are yet"
It is what it is.
Free trial player at 400 hours here.
Also I LOVED solo duties with Noctis they teached me a lot of mechanics before I jump into raids. such as stack markers / pillars.
if you're in Sarg I'd be welcome to help run RR and HW mounts
It sucks because even fully geared and leveled you still need at least an extra player or two to "solo" lvl60 trials for doggos and of course more for the higher level trials. Only Kirin is easily soloable.
thx for always making content that is both helpful and easy to understand in the case of players like myself whom just started not long ago.
Zephla going literally 5 minutes without self cackling challenge:
She failed 4:37 minutes in if you don't count various cackle mid sentences.
I just started shadowbringers, so I just want to get the main story done before endwalker…hopefully lol
You should be good!
one of my goals was to get all crafters and gatheres up before endwalker, and its done, very satisfied :D
Nice Reaper is a Maiming job ^^ Dragoon Mains stand up!
Ah gross than I have to compete with more people for gear...
Dragoon mains stand up? I thought they were supposed to jump or tank the floor!
You mean Dragoon mains burst into tears now that they have to actually compete for left side gear :P
But if you play reaper, you're no longer a Dragoon Main… Time for a "which button to push" meme?

I’m happy to say I went through this ZeplaHQ checklist with success! I’m definitely on the right track! Still a few tidbits to take care of. And time goes by so fast when you’re having fun! But MSQ, Coils and Omega are done. And I spent 6 hours today (yeah I know) freeing up storage space lol. The side content comment worries me somewhat.
Which data center? I've found them relatively pain-free queueing as a healer and tank.
Naah it is not dead yet and almost always pop up in alliance duty roulette.
It's honestly one of the easiest relics to get though. You casually get it while doing Bojza content already.
Thank you for mentioning the quest for the car. I am working on it now. I have to say I am enjoying the quest and the scenery you get to see.
That PRS guitar is sick
The FF14 guitar? It's a Fender. You can play it as a bard in performance mode and irl if you buy one!
You don't have to craft the Grade 3 Wheels of Confrontation. You can buy them off the MB and then prime them. So if you don't have the schematic unlocked for it but you have access to the Aetherial Wheel, you can buy the wheels from people that sell them.
I haven't even started Heavensward and I have ~210 hours, I've got a long way to go before Endwalker haha
Crafters and gatherers am I right?
Given all the new Sages and Reapers, I'm betting that Bojza will be pretty dang busy for the first couple weeks of the expansion, at least.
good point I forgot they started at 70, can't wait for the full Reaper castrum runs lol
Tank queue privilege will reign supreme *laughs in PLD*

As always a pleasure to watch your vids.

I enjoy your videos so much because you are just so bubbly and I can't help but smile through your videos!
I just started this evening (finally) and I'm a level 11 magic potato. I saw that cool looking flying car mount, it's pretty nice
Homework: To Do List: The Binding Coil of Bahamut, Omega,... A Nocturne for Heroes.. (writing notes..)
Me: "Play Shadowbringers MSQ" :D
The stat changes also reduce Enemy HP and Damage.
So in theory, shouldn't be harder, if not easier, when
geared at lvl 90.
That’s been my understanding - unsynced before level cap would be harder, at level cap it will be around the same as now.
@7:45 Ayyy we're famous; HOT even! \o/
My guess: They'll make Coils mandatory like the Crystal Tower ones.
They should. It is so important for the story
Eureka and Bojza are probably gonna be my two major issues. I'm only in the 2nd tier of Eureka, and I haven't done Bozja even once.
I personally find Bozja a lot more fun and engaging than Eureka, especially since you can easily level a class from 71 to 80! I suggest healers
If you want to become an omnicrafter or even level a few DoH/DoL, NOW IS THE TIME! Once the Firmament/Diadem is gone it’s back to grinding levequests!
