Guys if you have FPS issues when you are looking at the water then turn off projected caustics in water settings (btw works in every version complementary shaders)
In shader option, when I click the first button :" Complementary shader by...", There is a secret setting option. I'm wondering if I click the button" the forbidden option ".... Did you try it?
how come blocks further away look smoother for you. My problem with this shaders and others is that the blocks further away look ugly it's really annoying so I tend to not play with shaders
There's a place somewhere in the settings (I think it's under lighting) where you can change the light and ambient of each time of day (morning, noon, evening, and night), so just go to night light and night ambient and turn down the intensity

When I put on the shaders, no shader options appear?
Are you using Iris Shaders?
i had to get rid of the sodium mod, it was interfering with my ability to see the shader options (fabric)
