Thank you for watching!
With all of the BRZ and 86 videos out there. Your simple video from just the drivers perspective is one of the best videos to show what it's really like to drive this car! Nicely done!
Thank you so much man!
I can’t wait to to own one of these it will probably be the most fun I would ever have driving to work and school
On the used market these are starting to look like a good value!
oh it is
My dream car, hopefully I can save up for it in 2 years.
Niceee! By then, the new generation 86/BRZ will be out and moving to Toyota's TNGA platform (rumored). Good luck man!
Brandon Sanchez same bro same.. i turn 15 this year and i’m gonna cop a ‘13 on my bday and learn with it for a year 😊 hope you get yours
@@indianbri lucky guy man. I'm 14 but can only drive at 18. Enjoy the sweet car!

Did you get it?

I’m in the market for one of these beauty’s preferably gt model I can’t wait!
You are going to have a blast with the new GR!!! 👍👍
What are you more excited for? The Ford Bronco reveal, the plug in hybrid reveal for the Jeep Wrangler, or the electric Hummer reveal?
I would say probably the Ford Bronco.
Cheap reliable porsche thats even more fun to drive
Is this modified in any way? Stock exhaust here? if not what is it? Sounds nice. 👌
It's the TRD exhaust from Toyota.
*nIcE*
More GT86 Please!
Is it on stock suspension/height?
No, it's on TRD springs.
Tnx man!
Hows the fuel consumption?
This isn't my car. And when I had it for two days, I unfortunately wasn't paying attention to the fuel consumption because I was having so much fun driving haha. According to the interwebs, the estimated MPG is 21 city and 29 highway. So I'm guessing, if you drive normally with city and highway, you'll probably get an average of 24 or 25 mpg.
Can you show or explain how do you release clutch and push in acceleration while you shifting gears up, please!?)
Bro just go watch tutorials lmao
4:50 bumblebee??
How tall are you? What is the max height of someone that can fit in this car? By the way, great video.
I'm not very tall. Only 5'8". But I've heard people over 6 feet can fit fine in the driver seat. You'll just have to have the seat pushed all the way back and no one will be able to sit behind the driver. Thank you for watching and stopping by!
Canto Mike would you pick this car over the Golf gti or Nissan 350z when it comes to reliability or having a sports car that can last for a long time?
@@Enlightened2371 I actually like all three cars. My pick would be the 86/BRZ twins. I haven't heard any major issues with the engine in the 86/BRZ (FA20) . But then again I don't have access to consumer reports database, and I haven't dive deep in the 86/BRZ forums. If you just look at the components: it's naturally aspirated, port/direct fuel port injected (don't have to worry about carbon build up), low powered (less stress on components versus a car with more power). I believe it can go the distance, as long as it's well maintained. The 350z is over 10 years old. I think by now you are going to see a lot of beat up ones on the used market. I'm sure you'll find a gem, but they are rare. Avoid the early 350z model years because those suffer from transmission grinding. I also heard about TMPS sensors going out. You have to dig deep into the forums on this since my knowledge of the 350z is limited. As for the Golf GTI. This depends which generation you get. The Golf 7 GTI is actually really good. But I don't know about the reliability. My knowledge is also limited on the Golf GTI. I do know that with a simple ECU tune, it turns the Golf GTI into a performance beast. I wish you the best of luck man!
Canto Mike thank you. That answered my questions.
Im 6'2 280 lbs and i fit comfortably!
Are you excited for the Ford Bronco?
For sure. I saw what it will actually look like and it looks dope!
Release series 2.0 wheels? 👀👀
Yep
Mike Drives a much better look than the regular 86 wheels
@@BedazzledChanclas that's for sure!
What's your exhaust?
This car has the TRD exhaust.
How was it? Any impressions?
It's a good fun car on a budget for under $30,000. I love how low I sit in the car, the direct steering accompanied with the nimble handling, mechanical feel of the 6-speed manual, and overall the connection between driver and car. Also, the clutch was really light, maybe too light but could be good on the left foot if this car was a daily. This car is definitely a great platform for someone new to track and autocross driving. Not only that, experienced drivers would enjoy it as well. Let me know if you want to know more or go into further details!
