As you listen to more of their catalogue you'll really get a feel for how "big" the percussion is in this band driving the riffs and Corey's amazing voice. This is probably my favorite Slipknot song. It evokes such a strong emotional response from me and because it's not just the amped up, aggressive kind of feeling I typically get from their music -- it stands out in my mind. As far as Slipknot goes, you should consider reacting to "Vermillion", "Wait and Bleed", or "My Plague" as those were all pretty popular but if you're feeling extra froggy with a need to leap, you might try something like "Spit It Out", "Surfacing", or "People = Shit".

I believe Pendulum - The Tempest would be a perfect progression in this voyage across genres. It has prog rock elements with a certain amount of electronic flare and I think you would appreciate the sick drums and syncopated beats. If you ever listen to it, hold out 'til the end, you know all lights go out before the fireworks.
