The only issue I have with it is dropping the dipstick holder in the motor. My 1 owner 7.3 is just starting to drip a little oil.

Yes it sounds crazy but there’s no way it could ever cause any inference in the bottom of the oil pan unless you ran the motor upside down and you would have bigger problems than the dipstick holder. However I do agree it doesn’t feel right dropping it. But it is a good quality product and seals much better than the factory setup. Thanks for watching.

Drove one of my trucks almost 200,000 miles with that piece on the inside never had a problem finally had no choice but to change the oil pan it was rotted in leaking got it off lo and behold there was the peace underneath the platform wish I was the guy that invented that. I really like your vids I got an engine needs to be swapped out in a 02 are you interested in doing the engine swap out?

I drove my truck for 200,000 miles with that piece on the bottom of the pan. Never had an issue. Finally had to change the pan it was rusted and leaking. Got the pan off and there was the the piece at the bottom of the pan. I got to do an engine swap have the engine already to go are you interested in doing the engine swap?

Why not just make just a nut with oring face seal on the outside? Then no dropy dropy.

This is the fix, it has a oring seal on the face. The oil pan has to be sandwiched between the 2 plates. This doesn’t leak. And even if it did you could replace the oring.

That lady named china makes them for 24$ shipped on amazon anodized black even. The quality is surprisingly good as well. I'd gladly pay more for American made even if it was 120$. I just can't justify the 300$ or 10X The price!
