Great advice. I firmly believe in establishing a good gratitude practice, to help shape contentment and appreciation for what we have. There's so much we're marketed that we just don't need, or are just gimmicks. Thrifting is a huge way to save too, and find cool unique styles on a dime, that help the environment.
OMG i literally agree with everything you have. It is so common to see people your age trying to look rich and they are so frivolous with money but you are so mature and you have amazing advice.
*"Use what you have"* that is so true... Coz I have this habit of buying stuff early before the thing even gets finished. Like, I have half tube of toothpaste left but I buy one "just in case" it gets over 🤷🏻♀️🤣
Yes! Also, something that I personally did was accept that looking stylish and looking rich are different. Think about the clothes you’re buying and how they fit in your closet. If you don’t really like, don’t buy, and splurge on a few readily useable items-buy the rest for cheap. This has helped me save a lot and my style, if anything, has gotten more interesting.(Lol edit interesting in a good way!)

“Use what you have” doenst work for artists … for exmaple i need lots of stuff and wigs for cosplay, art stuff for sketches, makeup for cosplay, physical books for annotations as writer,helps me learn better
I can physically hear those kind of people saying “oh you don’t need expensive equipment to be a good artist”, fake af lol some mid quality art supplies or makeup products can and will be expensive. And even though it truly does depend on your skills as an artist you need good quality stuff to show off your skills. You won’t improve with bad quality stuff. A nice set with a good variety of makeup brushes can be pricey sometimes and you won’t do great with cheap brushes, your makeup will look smudgy, cakey, crusty, etc, it’s something anyone realises if they do makeup. If you’re a traditional artist don’t even get me started. A pack of good quality pencil colors with actual variety will be pricey if you want something pigmented and not like those elementary school crayons you try to color with several times and nothing comes out. A good quality sketch book is also SO important, your supplies will perform differently according to its characteristics. I could go on and on the whole day giving tons of examples. Art is a really expensive area
it's hard for me to save money sometimes. i'm trying to save bc i'm a sixteen yr old trying to plan for her life and save money so everytime i go out i forget to bring my debit card by 'accident'😂 it helps, rlly. i definitely recommend it

Everything she suggested requires spending your time into, a UA-cam channel, car washing, etc. I’m a college student in a degree that requires tons of studying and work. I have a part time job and barely have any time left, plus I live by myself and need to do all the chores and house stuff alone. I love my independence but it’s hard sometimes

no has ever saved themselves rich, think about it let's just say you're making 15k a month even if you save all of it (which is impossible obviously) you''ll never afford a mansion.
