I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the dresses that are ridiculously affordable are often made by people who are enslaved or paid extremely low. It’s a very sad industry situation. When you pay for a thousand dollar and up dress, you are getting something that was made by people who are being paid a livable wage. I know it sucks having to pay more for a dress but sometimes it’s worth it knowing you’re supporting better work practices.
That's why my wedding dress will be just a simple white dress. Because I want a beach barbecue wedding where everyone comes with their bathing suites and we will go in the sea, and I will just rent out beach chair's and do a simple wedding decorations.
I bought a second-hand vintage gown on ebay for less than 10$. Made some alterations both for the right fit and for a custom (and more current looking) design. Loved it. Kept the costs for dress, reception, flowers, photos etc. low and instead used it on a lengthy honeymoon trip.
We had LOTR themed wedding and I've designed my dress, bought fabrics and then got it to local seamstress. The outcome was even more fabulous than my sketches and imagination were and it all cost less than 180$ -- so it was actually better than my dream dress, it fits like a glove (I'm petite and it is PAIN to find long dress that doesn't have looong torso or neckline for small chest and bodyframe) and it was cheap☺💚 So if anyone wants dress with specific theme I encourage you to do your own design and get it done custom ^^

My wedding dress was gorgeous. $99 on David's Bridal clearance. The details on it was impeccable. I was honestly surprised at the cost. It was marked down so much because the color wasn't popular at the time. Bright white and ivory were the trends back then.
That is SUCH a risk though. I'm so glad it worked out for you, but I've had brides whose dresses get lost a week before their wedding because David's Bridal refuses to hold anything even if it's paid for. I would never recommend depending on DB to anyone.
I got mine on discount at David’s Bridal too! It was only like $250 because it was the floor sample and they weren’t making the dress anymore so they wanted it out of the store haha Surprisingly it looked like it had never even been tried on. They also didn’t overcharge me for alterations and did a great job there (I’ve worked as a professional seamstress but wouldn’t have been able to do these alterations on myself). I loved my dress and so did my husband on our wedding day 😃 Had a great experience there overall!

My newly minted daughter-in-law bought her wedding dress at the end of year sale at a bridal shop. She then wore it an entire year later. The dress after taxes was 9, 897$ originally. She paid 2, 840$ and two months before she got married they charged her 150$ to alter it to fit. I think getting a 10 thousand dollar dress for 3 grand is awesome!!! By the way she looked gorgeous and the fit was perfect! My son cried as she walked down the isle! (My son never cries, he's a cowboy, lol!) Wish I could send you a picture! I think this is the smartest way to buy a wedding gown. Future brides should definitely take advantage of end of year sales!!! This is the first video of yours I've seen but I just wanted to say it's so refreshing to see a video that just jumps right into the subject
The dress at 6:05 is so BEAUTIFUL and WHIMSICAL! ❤
i’ve been looking at that last dress on pinterest for YEARS. good to know it’s actually real whenever i get engaged hahaha
I would look at you most happy at a wedding seeing you in the last dress as the fit is positive noticeable, suits you perfect, the fabric it's quality is been seen via milliseconds and your movings are gorgeous in this dress to recognize your vibe beeing happy with this dress. Good video! Also showed that the classy dior fit suits you.
I love it when Hope says " oh no" with the little laugh 😂 we just know its going to be a disaster 😅 like the deflated pouf 🤣
Can we appreciate that Hope does everything for us. Like she spends thousands of dollars just for us just so we watch her videos😊 Let’s give Hope a round of applause for her video ( BTW LOVE YOUR VIDEOS )
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Yes I am loving all these videos
7:00 i am in love with a dress 😍😍😍
Hi hope! When I’m older, I want my channel to be just like yours. I love clothes and making hauls all the time. So watching your channel just makes my day ❤😊
You could literally buy people's garbage and you will find the silver lining. I don't know how you do it if I did this video the subject would be trash and there would be a dumpster on fire in the thumbnail 😂 I love your optimism.
The first etsy dress was super cute and the last dress (laces) looked perfect on you
That last dress was absolutely stunning! That company should partner with Hope for a video that would be so cool. Loved the concept of wedding dresses that you can try at home .
👀💜
I’d rather not have the headache of a wedding, a man is already enough of one lol. 😂
I love Hope's body positivism - her confidence makes a final touch to this channel
The last dress you put on is absolutely gorgeous on you! It looks like it was made for you!
My wedding dress (13th anniversary is in 9 days ❤) was about $120, including shipping. Custom made too, white with a lot of black detailing. This was back when most online orders came how they looked online 😅. I know I lucked out, but I'd be scared to have to order it now😅...
Same! I was married in 2010 with a $200 eBay dress. Congratulations on your anniversary 🥰
@@InterTay thank you ❤️. Congratulations to you too 💐.
I loved you in that 2nd last beaded dress. That style looked so good on you, it was like wow, gorgeous.
I started watching hope around 2021, and I can’t stop! Your videos are always so entertaining and honest, and it’s obvious that you put in a lot of work and effort to every video. Thanks for all the great content 🫶🫶
I got married in a 70 euros dress and everyone thought it was super expensive, I love that you are showing alternatives that don't break the bank!
You can get a very expensive dress, you could never afford, very reasonably priced! You just have to be patient and willing to wait a year to get married! ❤❤❤❤
Everyone can we please stand up and applaud this woman. Hope you are such an amazing person. Loving your positive attitude and vibes. You know what would be cool, maybe try to replica some of Taylor Swifts costumes from her shows, just a thought. Keep killing it girl. 👰♀️👘👗 🥻
Claudia, couldn't agree more! Hope is so awesome. My girls love her. And Leo. 😊
I bought my wedding dress from JJ'S HOUSE for $258 (shipping and duty included). It was exactly as it looked on the website. I ordered custom sizing, and it fit perfectly. 😊
I actually used to work at a Luxe Redux boutique and they get sample dresses from actual boutiques that are either getting discontinued or the store doesn’t want to carry anymore and sell them. They are actual designer dresses that you can purchase off the rack at a very discounted price. They are amazing!
💜💜💜 Love, Love, LOVE how beautiful you look in the different dress styles! Also, truly appreciate all of your time and effort to find the dresses, too!! 😊💜💜💜
Why didn't I think to look on Etsy for a wedding dress 😭 that one with the flower detail is STUNNING.
Y'all...THE LAST DRESS 😍😍😍
I'm not even looking for a wedding dress. But you are adorable and I love the "what you ordered" vs "what you got" videos. Subscribed
Can we talk about how amazing her outfit is during the second dress intro
Walmart wedding dress 😂😂
I ordered some summer dresses from Walmart about a month ago. Every one was a material I didn't recognize and nothing like the ad. I returned everything at my local Walmart.
The strange material might have caught fire on a very hot day!! Good return.
I love the first etsy one. It does look stunning at you too ♡ and it's around half of my dress in cost, but nearly the same. I just love it, you should really think about taking this one for you
Ok but can we just talk about how STUNNING hopes outfit is rn
I LOVE IT 😍
You’re beautiful! And I love the lace dress best. And I’m dieing for your corset!!! Thanks for showing us what real women look like in these beautiful dresses. Not everyone is a supermodel , but everyone is beautiful!
I agree ❤
The bonus dress is SO GOOD!! It's giving Seafoam Mermaid Bride!!
It’s always the length that is compromised with super cheap wedding dresses
Cuz the countries sewing them are much smaller height people,
I’d like to see a “thrift store dress” for comparison. Not everyone has the money to buy 6 dresses online to try on. A previous worn one is often within budget
Yeah, if puffy sleeves are back, you can reconstruck those 80's gowns.
omg i would loveeeee the bonus dress in black
You should review Olivia Bottega wedding dresses. My dream dress is a sunshine color sheath with detachable skirt.
Love when you buy unrealistic things😂❤
LOVE your videos! U should do the same thing with UNREALISTIC tiktok dresses!!
Get the real dresses, and rent them for the day. A few hundred dollars and you're wearing the actual designer's dress.
Real
I love your videos they are so fun and awesome to watch💖💖💖💖💖
“You probably at some point had a Pinterest board full of wedding dresses”
HOPE…. I STILL HAVE IT! 😂
Hope! You have actually given me hope to survive in this world! (No pun intended) I genuinely felt awful surviving middle school (due to bullying) and especially when I changed my school! I wait for your videos every week and I truly adore you! It would be an honour if you liked this comment! 💗💕
I'm asexual/aromantic, so I'll never get married, but I kinda wanna buy a wedding dress anyways! There's something quite magical about them.
Being asexual only means you don't want sex. If you still enjoy companionship and romance without the sex and find a compatible partner, you can still get married.
You should get friends together and just have a wedding dress party. Wear dresses, dance, eat some cake 😂
@Terri B to some people. It's a spectrum, and I don't want a companion or partner. Call it aromatic if you need to be specific.
Do it!! It would be SO FUN!
Aromatic? So you smell nice?
Colonmiriam designs are not just about fashion; they're a reflection of a conscious choice to embrace elegance while making a positive impact on our planet.
I swear to God I’m gonna hire you as a consultant when I’m shopping for wedding dresses-you’re basically a professional merchandiser at this point 😂😂😂
$150 dress looks so stunning on you!
Omfg I really love the corset top "columbus dress" one!! I think it's my favorite one, you look so good in it!!
Use this as the “here before an hour“ button
Also ily hope ❤❤❤
I wonder what lunatic UA-cam algorithm suggested that I, a male pensioner most definitely not interested in marriage, might have in wedding dresses?... indeed, so weird was it that I actually watched nearly half of it before I came to my senses and stopped: The alternative was suicide, quite clearly.
😂
😂😂😂 lmaoooo ❤
😂😂😂😂welcome and hello ooh from New Zealand 🇳🇿 😂😂😂❤
lol 😂at list you enjoyed watching I guess 😂😂
It's not a big deal. When I turned 48, I constantly started coming across advertisements in the browser about services about various cathedrals, monasteries and funeral robes - that was a shame!
New subscriber i cant stop watching ur content ,your are such a vibe❤
Can u try creating your own wedding dress❤
