      That doesn't make it right. I watch Dave's show and follow his financial advice but I cringe every time he calls someone stupid. It's not okay and that is actually "classless". People get desensitized by people's celebrity status. It's wrong for Dave to do it just as it is for anyone else. He fires her for her sin but turns around and sins by cussing. His firing her and canceling her insurance is just as bad as her having pre marital sex. The hypocrisy is incredible. He's gonna lose this one.

      You're projecting your own bias into the situation. You weren't raised in "the church." You were raised by people, who are sinners. Your one congregation may not have been doing it right. But if you read the bible, all kinds of congregations had their own problems. This is nothing new. You're literally blaming God for the actions of people in your one congregation. Doesn't sound very compassionate to me, but it does sound hypocritical. I would invite you to try again. You can always go back to Christ as long as you draw breath. @@victortaylor7737

      @@44fastgun wait, so youre going to dismiss the the old testament commandments as if God hmself didnt speciically command them hmself? When do you think god became more moral than his behavior in the OT? Keep in mind that according to Christians, Jesus himself commanded the atrocities and disgusting law in the OT, because he is the creator god.

    • @44fastgun
      @44fastgun 2 роки тому +23

      @@EDUAROSOLAS You didn't hear me dismiss anything. The Old testament laws were valid and established to prepare for the Messiah, whose presence would begin a new covenant. The OT itself foretells the expiration of that dispensation (Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Ezekiel 36: 24-28). I do not see where God was any less Holy than He's always been. The only real OT atrocity I see is wicked human beings rebelling and despising their creator after He revealed to them their best path to eternal existence. If you are trying to suggest slavery as "God's huge mistake", then you would be the one guilty of dismissing the OT. The whole system reveals itself in Exodus to resemble what in modern times is called indentured servanthood; it was a voluntary, temporary path to land-ownership for the poor, with strict laws against abuse, and provisions for voluntary permanence due to many servants developing favorable relationships with their employer. Compare that to the secular welfare disaster of today that panders to poor folks until election day, gives little incentive to work,, then leaves them with a mere grocery check for the rest of their lives. I think you got the OT confused with the humanisticly-developed secular Euro-colonial slavery system, which was involuntary, abusive, and violated every precept that was the OT social structure.

All of the men in his company can have all of the premarital sex in the world and he would never know. This woman could have had invitro, her birth control failed or just wanted to have a child without marriage. But to take away her source of income and benefits is cold. Because Mary was made pregnant by God, and carried the son of God, and the savior of the world. Totally diffrent.
      It's true Dave wouldn't know 100% if his male unmarried employees are sleeping around, unless clear evidence emerges and given that they can't get pregnant as proof is also another factor, but the women they do impregnate can also come forward with strong evidence they got pregnant by them, but of course there can also be many women in his company that do not get caught having premarital sex because they simply did not get pregnant, unless they have other evidence. As a woman working for a christian company if you know you are already breaching agreement by having premarital sex, and then you get pregnant then of course the evidence is there, and you knew there was a risk of obvious evidence being seen. Woman can get pregant and if they do before marriage they took that risk. I think DR holds unmarried men just as accountable if he find out they were having sex out of marriage, even if they can't pregnant. Evidence is evidence.
      Now if she wanted a child for her self without being married, she could adopt, or have artificial insemination from a sperm donor or invetro fertilization, I dont think God wants you to have premarital sex just cause you want to raise a kid on your own.
