Hello family, I’m not getting rid of my Van. My Van is my home. I’ll still be doing adventures in my Van. My SUV is my off road, stealth adventure home. My Van is my cozy relax non off road home. Thanks for your continued support 💙.
@@rmlrl1971 I would assume she knows this, hence stating she'll be taking it slow and how this entire adventure will be taking up a significant part of this remaining year.....
I think people take for granted you are prior Army, you are weapon's trained, you have stated more than once that you have "protection" on hand always and that you are a very meticulous researcher when it comes to planning out your trips and every aspect of your van life journey. I think some are of genuine concern, but of course, there are always those haters and others who want to seem like they are so much smarter than everyone else, but haven't done half the things that you have done. And it seems that now that you are starting to really venture off and travel and explore more, there are more people posting negative comments. I knew last year when you talked of your travels this year, that you would eventually make it up North, and I can't wait to follow along on your journey. And if these videos bring about brand sponsorships, then KUDOS to you. I think that's awesome. Safe Travels, Nomi and be blessed on your journey!! 💕🙏🏾
Hello i am a person I don’t even take bathing for granted I always say if it’s Gods will i shall do this or that when I breathe God’s and Jesus air I always wish Nomi well

Nomi for future reference all tires have date code....if you look on the side wall after the letters DOT.....the last 4 numbers encircled is the date in which the tire was made. The first 2 numbers are the week of the year and the next 2 numbers are the year....from what I can see on this video it reads 3018....so those tires were made 30th week of 2018. And your new ones look like 15th week of 2023. I hope this helps you..... tire age is extremely important for your safety. BTW great choice Toyo tires are an excellent brand.
Hey Gurl! Don't know if anyone has mentioned lack of cell coverage where you are going. Get a Garmin. Its satellite not cell. Congratulations on your new stealth camper. Love mine!
Do not tale the Dempster highway, it’s far too dangerous because of wildfires. You are entering wild fire country during the height of wildfire season. Literally all of Canada was on fire last year. I am from Canada and have friends in northern BC and the Yukon. The Dalton highway is much safer. ❤ please please look at the wild fire maps before your trip and prep your vehicle for wild fire situations.
Looking at Google street view of 2009, so many of the trees along Dempster were very young trees and saplings, must've been horrific fires there not long before Google went out. ☹
One thing to be aware of is your ground clearance and ruts. My Outback is a beast and can go just about anywhere but you can get stuck if u get high-centered. I recommend taking a bear aware class - it’s good information and will ease your mind and help you be prepared. I’m an Alaskan (born here and I fish and hike) and ur welcome to ask me questions - anytime. I’m excited to see your reactions to my home 🙂
Glad you're not getting rid of your van! It was more like home to me. With that being said, glad the SUV is working out for you as you continue your journey. What's even more important, you are ENJOYING it! I've followed you since episode 1 and quite frankly, I'm also enjoying your journey! Stay safe, my friend!
Please get more protection like, bear spray, tazers, mace spray, possibly a weapon, for intruders. When hiking keep something on you at all time. A satellite phone incase you are stranded, with no cell phone service. Take care!!
Remember you still have out of state plates (although rear only) wherever you go. So not 100% stealth. Just always be cautious. I was one who watched you when you were still working.❤

Nomi pls do EXTENSIVE research on storing food and personal protection and all things bear when you are in Canada and Alaska. I’m from Western Canada and have spent a lot of time in bear country and have seen first hand bears rip apart vehicles, all kind of vehicles. 🇨🇦❤️ We had a bear walk right up to our unit put his paws on the side while we were eating inside. Scary as heck. It then proceeded to the tent trailer in the next site and tore it to shreds to get to the food they were foolish enough to store inside the tent trailer.
Hi, I own an Ecoflow, and I absolutely love it. It keeps my freezer running for 3 days. I do recommend a 2000W , but 1300 will do fine. I hope you got the solar panels too. ** Remember the more frozen items in your fridge, the (less) energy you'll use. Many Blessings 🙏🏽

To clear things up about Subaru in Nevada Not able to sell me a Subaru… A Subaru sales person explained to me that there are certain Subaru franchise owners in America, who signed a contract and agreed that they would not sell Subarus to people if they live more than 250 miles away from the dealership. Not all Subarus dealerships participate in this agreement only certain Subaru franchise owners. Why you may ask. It has something to do with what happened during the pandemic. So the one I went to they were one of the franchises that participated in the agreement to not sell more than 250 miles away from the dealership. So I did more research found a Subaru that I was interested in and the one I found was in Florida. I hope this clears things up. God bless. Have a wonderful day!

Hey Nomi! I just wanted to say that I love your message at the end of the vlog. You're an inspiration. I've been watching your vlogs off and on for a while now and have enjoyed it. Keep it up. Looking forward to many more. Stay safe out there!
Do you have a Starlink account or a satellite phone service? Highly recommend since you will be traveling sort of in the middle of nowhere! Also, get bear spray!,
Wow Alaska. Please check with other utubers that are there, tons of snow 40 below…have a-safe trip bring plenty of warm clothes, and a40 below sleeping bag😊
Nomi you should also make sure that the shocks, struts and steering system are made for off road travel. You don’t want your upper arm control, rack and pinion or steering rods break on you. If any of those break you’ll have no steering control. BE SAFE.
Great preparation! I'm going to get a power station for my camper. I don't want to bother anyone with a loud generator. I'll be doing research for sure!
Hey Nomi, I've been watching since the beginning and the smile on your face in today's video was like a kid in a candy store. Being a Nomad definitely lights you up with happiness - I'm so excited for your Alaskan journey, thank you for taking us along! 💓
When going up to the Arctic Circle make sure you check out the Weather Window .. I hear it's pretty tight. Why I left FL...PARKNG. 😱 They WAY over built and so impossible to get around. UP here in New England I could easily park 8 to 10 cars at my house.. and no traffic. Such peace of mind. 🙏
Love your videis. Hotlogic has portable lunch box reheater, cooker with 12v plug so you can put your food container in and it heats up while you are driving.
I think someone might have fibbed about the Subaru buying options because everything I google says you do not have to reside in the same state to purchase a Subaru. Even their own website!
And about the tires. If you want a new Tires, just get some. Why with the long story about tires like I said? I like watching you, but you Over exaggerate a whole lot.😮😮
My Subaru is called RuRu. He is a 2002 and still going strong. He’s not my primary vehicle anymore but I keep him for snow travel cuz HE IS THE BEST in snow/ice. I love Subarus!
That's going to be a small place to cook and do what your use to doing in your van I don't see how but you should know what's best but I loved your van .
Consider a grill or brush guard, rain guard and mesh window coverings and please get a really good sleeping bag. A winch might not be bad either. Enjoy the journey!
Glad to hear that you are adding Canada to your list of places to see and explore! I lived in Vancouver for over 10 years and absolutely loved it! Enjoy... Love the new ride, I'm looking at getting one too! Love the gnarly tires & rims

Also, get bear spray!,
Bear spray only makes Kodiak grizzlies and polar bears angrier and those are the only bears in Canada and Alaska. 😅
Thank you Nomi for being willing to share your life with us. I’m so happy for you. You make every day look special. ❤
Wow Alaska. Please check with other utubers that are there, tons of snow 40 below…have a-safe trip bring plenty of warm clothes, and a40 below sleeping bag😊
Im so happy you are following your dreams and exploring the world. Wishing you nothing but the best. Safe happy travels. ❤
We're sooo stoked for Your adventures and Thank You So Much For Taking Us Along ❤️✨🙏
Truck house life just left where u trying to go he's very knowledgeable and mechanic Suave
Hey Nomi, I've been watching since the beginning and the smile on your face in today's video was like a kid in a candy store. Being a Nomad definitely lights you up with happiness - I'm so excited for your Alaskan journey, thank you for taking us along! 💓
Nothing but the TRUTH spoken at the end!!! 👌🏾🤩
I wish i can do this!! So refreshing and adventourous!
Love your new adventure in your new home on wheels. Can’t wait to see your epic adventures coming up. 💖🤗🏔️🏕️🏜️⛰️💕
Your excitement with life is contagious. Can't wait to get on the road with you! Thanks for taking me along.
Bears will Break Windows to get to your food.
Yikes😬
True, be extra vigilant
If you got Twinkies you're gonna have to give them up. They can smell them even nm in an insulated cooler.
😳Oh, no!!
Unfortunately, that is fact.
Love your videis. Hotlogic has portable lunch box reheater, cooker with 12v plug so you can put your food container in and it heats up while you are driving.
The new tires really made a difference. Looks nice! Enjoy!
So excited for your new travel Journey, taking your fam along. Prayers for safe travels & camping. God Bless.
Amen! Preach girl! I feel you and I believe you got this!
Hey Nomi,
It's always that 1 knucklehead. But anyway, forget about them. Let's go! I pray blessings over you on this new adventure. ❤🐢
Hi Nomi! Congratulations! I am so proud of you! I can’t wait to see you cook in your Suv! Safe travels! ❤️
Yes! Banff and BC (Canada) Looks Amazing!
Nomi! Your video editing skills are getting good! Love it. Looking forward to watching your travels 😊
I love what you do and how you're doing it.
I think someone might have fibbed about the Subaru buying options because everything I google says you do not have to reside in the same state to purchase a Subaru. Even their own website!
😂
I purchased mine out of my state 9 months ago.
Yup, I was thinking the same thing. That makes no sense.
That you can't buy a Sabaru from a different state.
Where in the world did you come up with that? That you can't buy It nowhere else but Florida.
I love your new Subaru Forester!🥰
I have that Aroma cooker - I love it! Wishing you well in your new journey!
That's going to be a small place to cook and do what your use to doing in your van I don't see how but you should know what's best but I loved your van .
I'm so hooked on your travels.
Hi Nomi, Will you visit the Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights)? I love them.
Consider a grill or brush guard, rain guard and mesh window coverings and please get a really good sleeping bag. A winch might not be bad either. Enjoy the journey!
Nice vehicle, But that bright strip of color along the bottom of the vehicle stands out like a sore thumb. Be very careful during your travels...
Glad to hear that you are adding Canada to your list of places to see and explore! I lived in Vancouver for over 10 years and absolutely loved it! Enjoy... Love the new ride, I'm looking at getting one too! Love the gnarly tires & rims
