May I make a little suggestion? Split your ice into 2 bags and LEAVE the ice in the bag put your perishables in the bag with the ice and place in your ice chest. That way your ice chest doesn’t need to be dumped out every time the ice melts, just remove the bag (melted ice)
My dad's a retired truck driver said he has seen some strange stuff on that strip at night back in the day. He said he would never pull over to sleep there anymore
You should look into getting a solar cooler/freezer. You can store your frozen food and refrigerator food in the one cooler and charge it with solar power. It will save you on constantly having to buy ice and since you are traveling a long time you can always keep your food fresh. Just a suggestion.

The history of slavery in America is very rich… American Express and Wells Fargo rich … to be exact. Very interesting stuff. Thank you for stopping and sharing this. And thanks to Obama for recognizing the need to include this route as a national treasure in 2009. Lest we forget. I also just learned about Wild Bill Hickok.

We have a road that we took to pick our Daughter up at University, and it was nothing but tree's on each side of road. We call it the road to nowhere. I love it even though they have Graduated 11 years ago we still take a ride in the country as I call it. Have A Bless Easter Nomi and Everyone in comments❤✨🙏🐇

There’s a Naval base real close to there and they’re practicing maneuvers. I am retired USAF and it’s common to do maneuvers over unpopulated areas. At least it was when I was active. Be safe. I am confident that all went fine for you or we wouldn’t see a video.

Hi, Nomadic, this is a restful scene, to get any peace a person would have to resort to your type of life once you get every thing lined up on taking a shower and using the bathroom and cooking. Me and my son was homeless for a little 2 weeks and it was sad, but was grateful we made it, and to think cousins had two vacant homes at the time. I'd have to have music blasting out there and get in the middle of the highway get out on my knees and just BOO-HOO !
That fence that said 'authorized personnel only' was probably the air force base. Nowhere NV is an actual town it houses the Nowhere else ranch. Mr Gs is a restaurant and bar Thanks for taking us along on your lonely journey ❤

It is beautiful Those little towns remind me of Cripple Creek, Colorado it's a little town that seems to be growing it's also known for its many many casinos lol. Yes, she does. My vehicle is smaller than hers, and I have a Vevor 10 qt fridge from Amazon. It's perfect for 1 person. I hate digging through ice in coolers 😢 and stopping to find ice.
