it was fun seeing you go from day one of being slow and not sure of what to do to fluid and decisive. Whether you realized it or not, actually not wavedashing and not trying to be advanced in general let you perfect the basics. I think many newer players can make that mistake of learning the how and not really breakdown the why or building a foundation first.
kirby is who i play when i wanna warm up before playing puff (my main) switching from Kirb to puff feels like how Rock Lee must have felt when he dropped the legweights while fighting Gaara. Also mad respect for putting in the time with kirby, everytime i find a W with him it feels VERY much well earned
I love just how heart felt and personal this feels, I like how you didn't overplay anything in a typical youtuber fashion, just feels like you were explaining to me what "you" did with this character in a video game. Great video!

As a fellow low tier main (Bowser), I know the feeling of getting joy out of playing a character others see as just plain stupid. I really liked this video and enjoyed watching your progress and dedication! I mean, you can’t change the meta by just maining the high tiers
It's really nice to see more people out here repping our precious puffball. Been playing melee Kirby for a long time and always believed they're so unexplored and undeserved of bottom tier. You've definitely taught me grounded side B discipline in this video, gonna be using that wayyyy more often.
This reminds me a lot of my own experiences maining Mewtwo in Ultimate. They're also a low tier, and you either have to really have a good grasp on consistently winning neutral, or catch people off guard with matchup inexperience. Sometimes both. But as you said, it brings me joy, and I don't think I could ever drop this character.
I feel like everyone has an obligatory low tier main but having that be your main is actually pretty baller, I sometimes bust out a young link counterpick to peach or just to bm but your kirby goes pretty hard ngl.
People have been saying "Everyone will play Fox in the future" since 2010. While yes, he is the best character, only 6 of the top 20 ranked players main Fox. 2 have him as a seconday. That is a far cry from "everyone."
Tbr u can make almost any character shine u end up training really hard and get to know those top 3 matchups while the amount of good Kirby players is slim to non so u end up getting the element of surprise sometimes I felt that I barley play melee but one of my friends were playing and he was only using top tiers and I went Kirby out of the blue picked Kirby and got a win it was so unexpected but yah I enjoy people who don’t let tiers determine who they’ll main they just play who they want that is how the best melee matches r made easily he does feel awful but was noticing roll tilts and airels wherent as bad and matchups like falco with decent copy abilities are actually kinda do able but u gotta play a lot of hours to get on ur level I respect that grind wish I had more time to play melee

I never thought Kirby was the worse character, If you know how to use Kirby you can easily win a fight as him Just spend hours and you'll get it He's one of the better characters to use in my book

Never played Melee, but its gotta take a unbelievable amount of skill to get good with how bad the low tiers of melee are. I can’t imagine having to play my boy(Ness) in Melee knowing that is up smash doesn’t even kill until…500%. I applaud you.

TBH that's the main reason I dabble in Kirby. The wins give me the biggest endorphin rush. Imagining the rage on the other side of the Slippi pipeline. Ooooooh. It just hits different.
