Mario Kart has all those fake creepy piracy screens cuz its a game played by a lot of kids. And its basically "school rumors on the internet". Any game played by a lot of kids is going to have these creepypasta things around it.

Actually, Mario Kart Black IS real, i had it on my WII. However, it was just a normal rom hack that changed things here and there, no spooky scary mario ever came to my house and attacked me or my family lol
@VKminus it's not, but it is possible to have owned it physically, in my country atleast. You could buy rom hacks in physical form since piracy is so big here in latam, so it isn't impossible. I remember having a physical copy of a GTA San Andreas rom hack that was Sonic themed.
Fun fact: at 9:15, the eyes only glow because it's dark. For example the eyes also glow on the mushroom gorge cave. Edit: I just realised that it reveals the fact that they mention this fact later. Sorry.
Yes, clearly headlights, from the back view of the cart you can see the headlight beam on the road. These aren't creepy eyes, just headlights for darker stages. Myth Busted lol.
It fascinates me how cliché ghost stories are always updated to include newer technology. You'd have to imagine there were tons of ghost stories that included wheels when that was invented.
Exactly what I was thinking there. I bet they glow like that if you're driving in a tunnel too which would mean that it's not meant to be creepy they're just headlights.

That basic Boo on the first Luigi's Mansion track (the one based on the first game) might be Boolossus. Also I never played that one with the cliff ending, but I love the Thelma and Louise take on the ending.

The only outlier is Mademe Clair which is just regular boss from game also using the picture of the Gold Frame portrait. Though I wished they had used a picture for Bogmire the Second Area Boss instead that way we would have all the Area Bosses from the game but cool Easter egg nonetheless.
The Ghost Valley 2 music is just the cover version of the Super Mario Kart track, which is also a cover of the Ghost House music from Super Mario World
5:40 I think the Boo portraits in Luigi's Mansion 3DS aren't supposed to be bosses as such but instead the collectible Boos which have different names.
14:45 When I was younger, I was able to clip into "Marty the Thwomp's" cage and was able to interact with him. I was never able to replicate this, and it definitely didn't unlock anything new, but I'll always remember doing this.
Wow i was expecting this to be overdramatic or clickbait but you actually explained things really well & went into the details & reasons as to why these things are known, like the thwomps chasing you being an indicator or the creepy white eyes just being headlights, really cool!
7:25 I said this before, but I’m a say it again, I am ASHAMED that this has NOT yet returned in a Mario kart game since this one! Seriously why does WII have this lecture, but not the future titles?! Like I understand ds and other games prior, but I mean come on!
I like how the creepy Peach anti-piracy screen is ALMOST believable. Like, the game glitching out, loading an unused character. Not having files for it, so it loads Peach's files in place, but the model doesn't really match, so it's all borked up. Followed by the game freaking out and crashing. I mean, yeah, it's fake. But it's so much more enjoyable as a thing when it's somewhat believable.
Once I was playing Mario Kart Wii and suddenly noticed a really weird-looking character icon on the map. Looked like a Mario skull until I realized it was just several characters’ icons bunched up on the map. They spread out a moment later and everything looked normal again.
1:05 the reason the thwomp laugh is different between both versions is because it uses a slowed down version of wario's laugh and in this game, some characters have different voices between both versions of the game, including Wario.
That Mario Kart Black cover art is a straight up edit of the official cover art from the video game Twisted Metal: Black. Interesting that it even shares the title Black in it.
Another way to have the Mii head disappear in Moonview Highway (Wii) is by playing on Dolphin and loading a save state. The Mii head image is generated when the course is first loaded, but loading a save state will break this. I'm not sure if they ever patched this, but at least it was the case on older versions of Dolphin. This is true for many of the courses in the game that generate images using Miis
Makes sense, the hills have had eyes since Super Mario World. Which is only creepy if you think about it, because the visual is kind of cute. Ah, so it's literally true, but not because it's spooky, but because it's night or otherwise dark.
oh what memories the "antipiracy" thing, a channel started this idea by making many old videogames have this creepypasta like lessons for people who pirates the game or something, lol. Remember to buy if it's available and fair price, that's the only way to support your favorite titles or franchise

Bro no way I had my mind blown in the first 30 seconds of this video.. I tried that soooo many times with my sisters and brothers but failed and didn't think it to be possible!!
The fact the channel popping up as an ad and essentially asking you to subscribe to it, is _8-Bit Brad_ but it's on the _Infinite Bits_ channel, tells you it's the same person - there's no doubt people on YT who thinks that they're different people. It's like with Nathaniel Bandy and Bathaniel Nandy. We _never_ see them in the same and at the same time, like, we don't see their faces at the same time. They also sound _identical_ and it's literally the only example I can think of
That reminds me of the one time my cousin got out of bounds on Toad's Turnpike in Mario Kart 64. Nothing special to it, she crashed into one of the moving cars and somehow got over the wall. There was not much to see. Just the background that looked a bit like sunset. The floor was invisible but was coded in a way that it was considered water. So she fell into that invisible water, working like every pond works in the game. A few seconds later she was pulled out by Lakitu and put back onto track. And that's it. The game worked like normal after that.
For the Peach myth, you can see on the "Unlockable Character" screen that the text for some letters I think, such as the "p" in "play", are cut off, meaning the line below it probably has like a white box around it.
2:50 - I'd have called this one Plausible instead of Confirmed, since you have to go unreasonably far out of your way to do it. 4:50 - The myth as you gave it states "The trucks on the Shroom Ridge course have a picture of a fish with the word 'flesh' on it." You disproved it, then called it Confirmed. The translation error was in a demo version, not the actual game. Myth Busted. 9:10 - The eyes are the kart's headlights. They'll glow on any course with dark areas, not just the spooky-themed ones. It's Confirmed, I guess, but weakly worded.
I was actually lucky enough to meet the creator of the Mario Kart Black modded Wii kart game. A pretty chill dude, told him about how some buddies of mine had a modded wii they would bring to our college and we played it a lot.
17:39 oh that fan art makes it even more obvious. That's a picture of Sweet tooth from twisted metal. Look it up. There's a picture of Sweet tooth from twisted Metal that looks exactly like that before you add the Mario hat.
Also the ghost house music being used from Super Mario World to that Mario Kart track isn't so strange, since that track is originally from Super Mario Kart which came out like a year after Super Mario World. Super Mario Kart also uses exactly the same music for Bowser's Castle as Super Mario World used for the final battle with Bowser. Hardly a "myth" when some basic observational skills would identify it lol, it wasn't exactly secret.
9:00 I’m pretty sure the eyes of the teddy bear are intended to be the head lights of the cart. So dark stages they’re lit up. Might be incorrect but it seems like a spooky coincidence to me. I accidentally skipped past the part where he mentioned this (0-0)
I had it saved on one of those extra storage devices you could plug into the Wii. I was only six or seven at the time, and I was terrified to play the game. After loading my only round and realizing there were no bots and no music, I got too scared and just closed the game. I never played it again. Eventually, I ended up throwing away that storage device years later because it broke and was unusable.
And also, that storage device I talked about, was bought by my dad at the time on the flea market. It was actually so cool because it had so many games but Mario Kart black terrified me and also that isn’t the same picture I believe. Now I can’t really judge because it was ten years ago but I remember a Mario skull without eyes actually smoking a cigarette or having smoke around him.
11:08 Actually it's Myth confirmed because in a Silver and Friends Mario kart 8 Deluxe live stream with the viewers, Cisconic actually got the Boo like several times when he was nowhere near first place. So the Boo IS in Mario kart, but just in the Deluxe edition of 8 from my knowledge
The headless Peach is caused by emulators because the older version of the emulator couldn't render Mii properly. This is how I remember it... Maybe I'm wrong. This happens on 3DS as well but the head is replaced by a red circle
9:10 The eyes glowing thingy is just the headlights turned on because all of the spooky tracks are in the night and you turn your headlights on at night which makes sense so easily we can say this was busted but my friend here didnt think of all of this on the spooky themes anyways he did find a reason for it to be busted but it said lights on in spooky tracks it didn’t say in only spooky tracks so technically it can be confirmed for him if he wants but I think of all of this so obviously I just needed to tell you guys about this so the easier way to say this is the eyes were headlights and the headlights are on.
I love these explanations on why these creepy things might occur and where they come from 17:29 "Mario from hit video game Mario Kart found me irl (not clickbait)(3 am)!!!"
1:44 It’s not just the chain chomps; due to how the physics engine works in MK8, there’s a lot of course obstacles that normally hurt you as you’re driving but won’t do a thing to you while you’re still.
There is a boo box in Mario Kart Wii, I remember it very clearly, you'd activate it and it would steal an opponent's item unless I was thinking of a different Mario kart
12:17 It's not the mansion after being cleaned up. The haunted mansion literally disappears and Luigi builds a new house using the money he got throughout the game
5:06 That's the Bolossus, a giant Boo comprised of multiple Boos. After the baby is Chauncy, the first major boss of the game. And the third is Madam Clairvoya. And the Bowser image is from the boss fight against King Boo, who uses a fake Bowser to fight Luigi.
That last one isn't even a myth. It sounds more like a creepypasta. Ngl though, that Mario Kart Black cover looked kinda sick. Though that could just be me being biased as a Twisted Metal fan, but it still looked awesome. Too bad Nintendo are too protective of Mario to allow a real Mario Kart Black to exist. 🤣

9:15 looks like Mr. Grizz
I Like This Guy Cause He does Not Make His Videos As Creepy And Like No Creepy BG Music Its Perfect!
9:34 I think they glow because the creepy tracks are in dark environments and the headlights go on because it’s dark.
TWISTED MARIO, thats just so funny to look at
The headless Peach is caused by emulators because the older version of the emulator couldn't render Mii properly. This is how I remember it... Maybe I'm wrong. This happens on 3DS as well but the head is replaced by a red circle
9:10
The eyes glowing thingy is just the headlights turned on because all of the spooky tracks are in the night and you turn your headlights on at night which makes sense so easily we can say this was busted but my friend here didnt think of all of this on the spooky themes anyways he did find a reason for it to be busted but it said lights on in spooky tracks it didn’t say in only spooky tracks so technically it can be confirmed for him if he wants but I think of all of this so obviously I just needed to tell you guys about this so the easier way to say this is the eyes were headlights and the headlights are on.
Love your channel bro
THAT JUMPSCARE GOT ME SO BAD WTF😂💀😂💀😂💀💀😂💀💀😂💀😂💀😂💀😂💀
*waits 40 seconds* "yeah you can wait here all day, this guy will not do anything different"
I was not expecting that jumpscare! Scared the sob out of me!
Thwomps laugh are wario’s American and Japanese laugh but slowed down
I love these explanations on why these creepy things might occur and where they come from
17:29 "Mario from hit video game Mario Kart found me irl (not clickbait)(3 am)!!!"
1:44 It’s not just the chain chomps; due to how the physics engine works in MK8, there’s a lot of course obstacles that normally hurt you as you’re driving but won’t do a thing to you while you’re still.
Geez, the jumpscare at the end caught me off guard! 😅
8:46 Myth: Conbusted?
Or in MKWii, combusted
Combusted means something else so
Silly I'm already home!
People make some weird as heck myths.
Are the eyes not just glowing because it's dark?🤔
There is a boo box in Mario Kart Wii, I remember it very clearly, you'd activate it and it would steal an opponent's item unless I was thinking of a different Mario kart
12:17
It's not the mansion after being cleaned up.
I love how the background music is from the “Hang Castle” level of Sonic Heroes.
I enjoy watching your Channel 😄
That last one isn't even a myth. It sounds more like a creepypasta. Ngl though, that Mario Kart Black cover looked kinda sick. Though that could just be me being biased as a Twisted Metal fan, but it still looked awesome. Too bad Nintendo are too protective of Mario to allow a real Mario Kart Black to exist. 🤣
dude im a fellow twisted metal fan not to mention there is a twisted metal black so for this to be called mario kart black seems awry
you made me have nigthmares after the end jumpscare 😭
