The date sub black bezel is a watch that has become both somewhat “basic” but also most enthusiasts prefer the no date, so that is also working against it. Great watch, one I’ve owned and enjoyed but somewhat of a stepping stone watch for many given how absurdly common Rolex has become (which I don’t think is a good thing, but it is a thing).

Adrian - great video as always and very informative however I would like to see the best to worst under $15k or even $12k because for many of us $20k is nearly unattainable and our initial “big purchase” from an AD is probably not $20k either - it’s more likely $10k such as an OP or entry level Datejust. On the other hand a purchase from a grey market dealer is more likely to quickly supplement a collection or as you all do - find something “rare” like the Hulk you talked about - which is my personal grail - so very glad you have that one as an A! 😂
It’s not all about the sports models. There are plenty of Date just folks out there. I think you need to give the DJ a bit more respect I’m sure they are great sellers for you
It’s hard to put an OP below a Datejust? It literally is a lower tier watch. I love both but look at the retail prices and the finish of both. The Datejust has a rich history and massive choice of options so it’s difficult to agree with you on it

A beautiful watch that its price basically hasn’t moved since Covid. He’s eager to sell the hype Covid junk that most people don’t want. I’m sure he will always find a few suckers out there but that batch is getting smaller and smaller.
