We've been rather spoilt today with videos. What a beautiful card. The colours are gorgeous. Love the joy in your voice when you saw the effects coming through. Thank you Christine and enjoy your day x
I actually got to watch three videos in a row, the coffee ran out and I was mesmerised by the time I was finished. I'm off to have my surgery tomorrow and traveling today for 6 hours to get there. Won't have wifi at the hospital so I will be suffering withdrawal. Hope you all have a nice weekend and will tune in next week. Thank you for sharing your talent and time Christine.
I totally agree with the enthusiasm. It make me happy to😅. What a great way to use the different products ❤. Love the indigo blue powder. Yes about the curling the tape around the card, in the middle, it's only useful if you are making a shaker card. Thank you so much for your time to show all the ideas 💡
Oh my! Chris, when you first brought out those orange card blots, I thought to myself…what the heck is she going to do with these messes. Well, I’m totally amazed. Gorgeous!
My right hand is all cracked and peeling because of all the Christmas and family Birthday cards is December and January but I have a break now until March so I am taking this time to go through all my background paper and embossing folders to see which ones I can use this method on. I’m so excited, thanks again Christine. Here I go .
I don't know what it is about this embossing folder of Tim's but, to me, it just screams out for pigment powders. I wasn't in the market for any more leaf embossing folders when he came out with this BUT I HAD to have it and no regrets. The folder and the powders brought those backgrounds to life. I save all my backgrounds. Sometimes I think they may be trash but then I find a use for them.
I love this technique Christine it's lovely ,and as you say will be great to use up all the back grounds that perhaps don't turn out the way you thought thank you again for sharing your great ideas it's so generous x
yay, another master piece. on the video, the green on the card looked the same colour as your table mat 😂 have you seen Narion emberson she works a lot with wow embossing powders but is just as joyful to watch as she works one idea leads into another. l am so frugal l would of tried to use every inch of that panel and not hid half of it under the aperture but you are right and l am wrong it just looked fandabydosy 🎉
I've so enjoyed all your videos today, so very interesting.A very very pretty card at the end too.I cant wait to have a crack at these but still reorganizing 🙄😪
A beautiful card. I wish I had a quarter of your creativity and enthusiasm. I think there may be a few 3d embossing folders winging there way to your address 😁😇😁xxxxx
I really love this technique Christine, the look it gives is so beautiful. I love your card, it is simply gorgeous! We all have ways of doing things that work for us. Tips and tricks that work for some, might not for others. It's the same with life, we need to do what works for us. Hugs, Brenda
That is a gorgeous embossing folder Chrissie, and the debossed leaves with the pretty Luscious Powder over the background with that wonderful shimmer and shine look fabulous. I love the twiggy wreath die which you used to frame a piece of it for the card, and allowed to shine with just white for both the wreath and the background, and a lovely finishing sentiment too. x
What a great way to change a background you dont like much totalky gives it a new look. Ive got to get myself some of the powders loving the colour changes and shimmer very pretty
What a treat to see 2 of your videos today! I'm making 7 birthday cards for my friend who turns 70 this month (one for each decade 😂) and am sending them periodically. I will definitely try this technique on at least one. I love them all! Thank you!
Really enjoyed your video and learned lots. I would like to tell you that the reason you are having so much trouble getting your embossing folder started is because you are putting the folder in backwards. If you start off with the side that has the fold, rather than the two ends, it should be much easier. All embossing folders are designed to be inserted into the machine with the fold side first.
I naturally would insert an embossing folder hinge end first, but as I have demonstrated in several videos, certain 3d folders, especially Tim Holtz ones are extremely thick and the only way to get them through the machine is by putting the open side first! All folders seem to vary, all machines seem to vary and we use the appropriate way for our particular folder/machine combo.
I totally agree with continuing on with your process of creating! Once you have the flow of inspiration I find it hard to put it all away and do something else. I do the same and while the mess is out keep playing! These backgrounds are fabulous! Have a lovely day! We are getting an enormous snowstorm here in Wisconsin. We live close to Milwaukee. ❄️❤ I think I should go make something!🥰
Love your enthusiasm! I’ve been in a real crafting slump since Christmas! I was on a roll making tags for all my friends as gifts for Christmas. Thanks for always inspiring us!
Would this idea be ok if hair lacquer is sprayed into the air Chris? And just whoosh it through as you do? i have never had any success with powders. Thank you so much for your all you do Lynn
Beautiful card , thanks for sharing the ideas. I have subscribed to you before but found that I was unsubscribed so I did it again, but then again tonight I had to subscribe again as I had been unsubscribed somehow? Odd?? Xx
That effect is great and thanks for the videos. What is the colour of the luscious powder you used that turned your debossed card green on the background? Thanks!
@@KathysArtKreations it depends what effect I'm after, if it's going onto Versamark I would use a dry brush but sometimes I mix it with water to use like paint.
OK the one in this video you used the distress Oxide all over the raised parts and they you applied the luscious powder on the part that is not raised and it turned green. Was there Versamark on that part as I think you used a dry brush? Sorry for bothering you but I can't get it to do what yours did. I am going to watch your video again. I probably missed something! Thanks! @@Chrissieannie
@@KathysArtKreations the Luscious powder will stick to damp ink so you are right, I would have used a dry brush! Were you using the same colours as I did?
Your resurrection was a great success. Even Mr. Siri got all excited. Your enthusiasm IS contagious.
Thanks a ton😊😊😊

Haven't heard Mr. Siri in a video lately. Enjoyed this again. Thanks Chris!
I don’t use my watch to control the start and stop of my videos any longer, hence Mr Siri doesn’t get so much of a look in!
Income tax paid check! 😂🎉 lovely card, you are going to blitz through those backgrounds.
I've paid my income tax too!
Agree that the white wreath was the better choice. So lovely. Thanks so much.
Yes! Thank you!😊😊😊
Very elegant card. I love that combo of the Lucious powders and the debossed panel. Well done Chris
It worked out well didn't it Viki. I just thought that the plain oxide ink looked a bit drab. 🤔
Love your card, its nice to see your numbers up again. Thank you for all the enjoyment you give to us. ❤

Wow Christine. I always love watching your videos. It's like tuning into an adventure cuz you always take us somewhere fun. Thanks so much. ❤😊

Great video, does that powder rub off?
If it's set with a water mist or hairspray, there should be no problem!
