What a lovely card....It’s just a joy to watch the whole process when you are creating in your craft room. Much better than watching edited and fast forward videos. I also use gilding flakes and like you, I do it on card before cutting out with the dies. However I just can’t throw the waste away before using as much of it as I can, because it is so beautiful. I have a tiny circle punch that I use for making holes in tags. I use that to cut lots of circles out and then use the ball tool to give them a bit of dimension. I put them in a little bag with my gems and use them as embellishments. Happy healthy 2024 to you, your family and the rest of your subscribers. 🦋xxx

All that fiddling about was well worth it. Such a beautiful card. I have a very similar pot of gilding flakes from IndigoBlu (Yorkshire Dales) and some others from Cosmic Shimmer. I'm going to try the glue method because double sided tape seemed to remain sticky even after I use anti-static on it. I love all things shiny. Wonderful to see a video up today. The precision plate was developed especially for intricate dies. If parts of a die-cut are not cut right through with a normal set of plates, the Precision plate is often the answer to cutting all the fiddly bits out accurately.
