Don't we all wish that some kind folks would send us crafting supplies. You are so lucky to have multiple sources and great ideas to use these gifts to make some unusual and beautiful cards. These rabbits are so cute in this woodland scene. 🐰🐇
Totally agree more embossing dies, also dies which produce dots, star and hearts to use up scraps and deter us from using plastic bling. These rabbit are the cutest 😊.
I do like the tree apertures. I have not seen you do shaker cards but this cries out for that, I think. Perfect backdrop for the trees and bunnies. Another card very well done.
Nice card Christine. FYI the waste you cut off the die is called sprue. : the waste piece on a casting, as of metal or plastic, left by the hole through which the mold was filled)
I really like that die. It’s simple enough to be appropriate for clean and simple cards. I like your dragonfly and dandelions, reminds me of the phrase “in the gloaming”. I think a tree or trees silhouette stamp would have also looked nice in the background. Lovely as always 💕
You always make me feel like getting up and start a new card every time I see you tossing around some ideas. It’s contagious and I love it! Just hope that mine turn out as beautiful as yours do every time. I am learning so much and many things from you I just want to say thank you so very much for your dedication to bring out something special each day.Thank you for sharing your world of knowledge and explaining it so wonderfully for a beginner like me ❤😊
This is a very pretty and uplifting card. I love the little bunnies peeping into the forest! I can see this aperture used with other backgrounds to create different vibes. A bit darker background to create a dusk scene, using the dotty stamp and the grungy gold powder to mimic fireflies; a cool, wintry background with the dotty stamp and embossing powder to mimic snowfall, etc. I'm sure you'll think of so many ideas and we'll love each of them! I'm happy to see companies are recognizing your talent and sending you items to try! 🩷
I love aperture dies. With the outline die though it would be very large and wouldn't fit on a square card. Regardless you made a lovely card with it and I agree embossing dies would be great. ❤
Love the die set which turned into a beautiful card. Just out of interest, I was watching a video by Laura at Meerkat Makes this morning and she showed how you can remove ink oopsies with a glue eraser. Worked perfectly. Thanks Christine and have a great day x
Beautiful job Christine. Large dies are not my favorite but you certainly made this work. I second your thoughts on embossing dies. I would be a customer for sure.
I hate dies that aren't separated. I end up poking myself with the stubs and bleed all over everything. Now I use my Hero Arts die snippers and a Swiffer cloth with a magnet beneath it to be able to definitely catch the little bits. I'm always afraid they'll fall on the carpet and someone will step on them. I started just trying to cut them into the garbage can but they went flying! There are a few that I have that I simply leave stuck together and die cut the whole thing. This card turned into a lovely little scene and a great way to use up that old background. Hope your Saturday was lovely.
Beautiful card Chris, I love the addition of the dragonflies and dandelion fluff. I was surprised you didn't try silver Luscious powder since your sentiment was silver, but I love how it came out! Thank you.
@@Chrissieanniei think they are referring to the connector pieces that you snipped off. It looks like the die still has one attached towards the top of the tree limbs.
Good job you could not hear me Christine . As soon as you put the die over that coloured paper i said, "Yes"! I honestly didnt think you needed to add anything. However, I love the finished card. The whole die is lovely as well.
I don’t make cards, but I love watching your vids for ideas
I hope you continue to enjoy!😊
Such a sweet card, love it!❤
So glad!
Such a lovely card - I have never thought of using the powders as you did on this card - thanks for a new technique for me to try.
You are so welcome!
I agree that more embossing dies would be lovely. Would be nice to support a new small UK based company too.
Thank you😊

Yes …trees would have had to be a perfect match for the ones in the die… I didn’t have any of those!🤔

I have one of those too, it depends on what the oopsie is, for the remedy I opt for!
That certainly is a gorgeous die, love the card. Jenny😊❤
Thank you 😊
Interesting dies, the aperture is great. I had hordes of backgrounds but I’ve used them all now. Time to make some more!
Have fun 😊
This is a very charming vignette! That paper was an excellent choice, of course, with your enhancement to it. Darling!❤❤❤

Merci Milou 😊😊😊

You left one of the attachment pieces on the top left of the trees on the inside. Almost where the two trees meet.
???

I was thinking clear embossing powder which shines but would just create an illusion.

Nice!!!
👍👍👍
Is the file you use for smoothing down the metal just a metal nail file or is it a special file for metal? Love the card.
It was from a little tool kit with various small differently shaped files and a small sand paper tool!
@@Chrissieannie thank you. I have several little metal nibs on a few dies that are too small to grab with the cutter or with the points pliers.
@@lindabunce5133 they are a nuisance aren't they😊
