factory new vehicle at a dealership is shipped in shipping mode and must be turned off when technician does pre delivery inspection in most cases at least thats hownit works when i sold cars

Worked just like you said. Through a P1511 code. So I tapped the end of the throttle and the code went away. Thanks for the info.
