Thanks Brother, I live on a Ranch and going to the Harley House is purely a last resort. Battery and starter died. So changed them both. I turn thr ignition on the fuel pump loads up. I press the starter button and the fuel pump loads up again and no click not even a hint of trying to turn over. So God willing and The River don`t rise this will work.

Could you post a video one day of checking codes via the Soundstream head unit? Also I have tried to add new wallpaper to my head unit and can’t get it to work. Any input would be appreciated!!

Even with the Soundstream installed this same process still works, also any jpeg image on a usb drive can be uploaded just by plugging in the usb thumb drive to the stock usb, go to display in setting menu, go to wallpaper and click the + icon

after changing my head unit with the sony and plug and play connector. I get codes of loss of communication to LHC, RHC and stereo screen is blank. It plays but no screen and controls do work. Does it need a "flash"?

No flash needed but you don’t have the correct thumb control module or you left a connector unplugged in the fairing

@@volunteeraudioI’ve spent literally 24hrs over 3 days trying to fix this exact problem. Getting a COM loss error code. There was a 10A fuse in the radio which was clearly marked as needing a 15A, Sony head, and I replaced that. Using a multimeter I found I’m getting the constant 12v power but no accessory power. Any thought on that? Wouldn’t the radio still power up with the constant 12v when bike is running?

@@pjhaebe these codes would come from the module used to interface to the bike, thumb control module from metra axxess or scosche, the same module turns the radio on by creating accessory power

@@volunteeraudio thumb control module? Not sure what that is other than the handle bar controls. I do know the radio is on a Soche mount. Just watched one of your thumb control videos. I have that same gray box labeled ‘LPDH15’. Mine has connections at either end as opposed to on that one side. Is that gray box the fault? It does seem kinda cheaply constructed. I popped it open while trouble shooting, didn’t see any burns/black marks and everything seemed tight.

Doc, i put diesel in my motorcycle 2014 electraglide. Now my fuel gauge is inaccurate. How do I fix this problem? There is fresh gas in it now. Still doesnt read properly.

I did disconnect the fuel tank from the bike
