I went to the digimon meet up last week in LA. First time playing the game and asked some of the booths for recommendations. They told me to get ragna for my first deck, thanks for the info this helps with learning the game
I really do appreciate this. I've been trying to fine tune my deck as I got the last pieces I i needed at locals this week. Now that I see how you pilot the deck and the thought process behind it I'll have a better idea of how to build my version, my way. Stay awesome, B3nb3n
I was definitely about to mention the Sora and Joe. Huge misplay against a Ragna player. But like you said, it wouldn't ultimately matter. Great plays and great understanding of your match-ups. It's what makes the difference.

The other cards are also quite cheap which is nice minus the blackwargreymon so just thinking to use baihumon as a substitute.
Following the previous video on how you won the Nationals with Ragnaloardmon, I am so happy that you could share more of your thoughts on the matchups and tutorial on how Ragnaloardmon likes to play and these are very helpful, this is for sure my favorite deck since BT3/set1.5 and I am looking forward for your next videos :)
I'm trying to start my digimon career after a friend showed me Akiho. But seen ragnalordmon starter is a thing kind of having a hard time picking which deck to build + I don't have much budget to play with. Any ideas?
Could've just shoved spadamon to give 2 checks to drop security to 2. Then hit with ludomon to 1. Then hardcast brywe and jogress end of turn to trash last sec and blitz.
That's also fair although it adds more risk for my opponent to get lucky in security, definitely a play I'd be more likely to do in a game 3 kind of scenario when I have a better feel on what my opponent is running
Knowing blue flare match up the only big thing you should be worried in the security is deathxmon that could crash ragnaloard. If you hit a big removal you would just raise another in the raising area. If you hit ice wall or hammer you could end with a 3 cost and shove it under duranda. The +3k gives more security compared if you stay 11 which could've crashed with another 11 mega if they got any. And the +1 check is such a good chip damage.

I'm not entirely sure where you saw I ran 3 XD In my deck profile I showed that I've always ran 4 ragnas (around the 4:00 mark of that video) and just the 1 DeathX, it's also noted in the description of that video too~
