Yes, all the numbers are wrong. Zwei = two, drei = three and vier = four. But thanks for your videos. I really enjoy them. Thank you very much for your efforts
While Zane definitely was a contributing factor to Cyber Dragons’s popularity, it’s also worth mentioning the other reason. That being the fact that Cyber Dragon completely changed how we played the game forever. The reason is because of its summoning condition was something never seen before. Before it was printed, Special Summoning was just that, special. It rarely ever happened because of how slow the game was. So when Cyber Dragon was released, instantly you had a 2100 beater that could come out essentially for free. Because of how Cyber Dragon operated as a card, the entire game changed from then on, become more Special Summon focused. That is why Cyber Dragon is often argued as the most important card in the game at times

Zane’s Cyber Dragon/CyberDark Dragon archetype is really cool as the archetype reflects the way Zane transitioned from his dueling style and how he acted towards his opponents when he dueled them. It’s really cool the way the archetype reflects this as for example Cyber Dragon becomes darker in its alternate artwork which shows Zane’s transformation in the anime.
9:35 Word of advice, everyone: If you haven't read the GX manga, at least look it up for the duel where this juggernaut of a boss monster is used. It's flipping *amazing.*

The rest look like they could be in the shape of infinity, but are incomplete, disfigured, not connecting or overlapping to complete the symbols. And Eternity looks like has at least 3 possible infinity symbols, which fits his name.

Easily one of the best reflections between user and archetype in the entire franchise The Cyber Dragons are adaptable, intimidating and heralded in a much faster meta for the game with their efficiency at special and fusion summoning A perfect representation of their user who was one of the few people in the anime that felt like he was actually there to play the game competitavely

They aren't defensive when they wanted though. In fact the archetype is notorious for dishing 1 turn extreme damage and 1 of the earliest 1 turn kill strategy (that's a lot of 1). The meta back then was different and was way slower compared to now. I'm not saying playing it defensively is wrong (because anyone can do whatever they want lol), but technically that's not how you're supposed to play it.

This archetype, elemental heroes and Destiny Heroes give me such great memories of my intermediate/highschool days. Even though I used to watch the older YGO anime, it was during the GX era that I got hooked into buying the cards and playing the game with friends. There was something special and cool about Jaden, Alexis and Zane's decks that pushed me into playing the game for once. Cool video 9:20 Eltanin means The Dragon in Arabic and it is a reference to the star Constellation "Gamma Draconis" which also appears in the card "Born from Draconis". I'm still not over how Cyber Dragons are neither Cyberse nor Dragons And that Jinzo {Psycho Shocker} is not a Psychic! Their themes simply fit these types I know that the two types came out later but they can be errated
I really like that touch in the archetype where most of the cyber dragons have German words in their names to reference their lore. I was very happy and excited when i discovered that while i was learning german
Definitely arguably the best archetype in the tcg so sad that some of the cards in duel links are limited to just 1 or two mostly because it’s too op for the game but nevertheless love this archetype
Honestly because of the Cyber Dragons and Heros, we have archetypes and major special summoning mechanics that forever chenged the game as we know it. Little did Konami realize how powerful they would become.
As someone who’s been playing Cyber Dragons for over 15 years I’d just like to say that Cyber Eltanin is super underrated and you’ll never convince me otherwise. I side it out pretty frequently when I do run it but it’s always at least in my side deck. I’ve always wanted to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. There are clearly better Cyber Dragon cards but they’ve always tended to get an appropriate amount of respect and appreciation, both from people who play the deck and people who play against it, while Cyber Eltanin has always been slept on by all but a few lists I’ve seen over the years. If you play Cyber Dragons give this card a second look.
@7:14 zwei means 2 though. Drei = 3, Vier = 4 if there was a Cyber dragon 5, it would be Fünf. So I think (for now) that the Cyber dragon Hertz and the link monsters are the 5th generation Cyber dragons. That is untill There will be another way to summon Cyber dragons. Personally I'm waiting for the cyber dragon syncros.
Zwei is two, hence "Zweihander" being a German sword that requires two hands to use it. Drei is three, Vier is four, and Nachster being next would be the last iteration.
I bought a structure deck: cyber strike today and I immediately watched guides and its lore. It's really helpful for me as this is my first complete deck. I know it's very common to own this archetype but I really am happy to have these iconic cards.
I love learning about the Yugioh card archetypes since I was a fan of Yugioh back in the day! I wonder if you can do a character profile on one of the YuGiOh VRAINS characters like Playmaker or Blue Angel.
I actually can't wait for more support in the future, its still a good rogue deck overall only needing a handful of non cyber dragon cards minus fusion card related stuff, only about 12 in total max still decent synergy with each other
Great Video and greetings from germany :) I realy enjoy your archetype videos. As a little hint I guess the order is different and nachster is the last cyber dragon. Zwei = 2 Drei = 3 Vier = 4 There has been a little missunderstanding :D But still Keep up the good work :D
I always thought cyber dragon infinity was the opposite of cyber end dragon considering the colour scheme, design and also the fact its ability to absorb other monsters into itself becoming its overlay units.
An amazing video I love Cyber Dragon one of the best archetype to come out of the GX and it's still an awesome support till this day I would love to see you do an updated archetype video for the Blue-Eyes White Dragon archetype
I mena great video. But you messed up the numbers. Zwei should be 2.0 because Zwei means Two. Drei should be 3.0 because Drei means three. Same why Vier should be 4.0. Nachster should be 5.0 i think. It also looks the most advanced and thus seems more NEXT gen than the rest.
Best archetype ever created... Even it's user was built to be the most powerful dueslit ever, in the manga he has never lost and was unstoppable. Zane is the GOAT lmao
Herz = german for "heart" zwei = german for "two", not "three" drei = german for "three", not "four" vier = german for "four", not "five" Sieger = german for "winner"
Alredy commented, but I love the lore behind the evolution of Cyber Dragons You have the defenseless core and the lackluster Prototype , followed by 1.0 and its varioations ( Laser and Reflector) , then having its shell replaced with a weaker, but sleaker and more efficient version in the form of Zwei, Drei and Vier and eventually getting to stuff like the Nova and Eternity variants It genuenly feels like a creator trying his damndest to continously improve upon his creation, to the point he starty dabbling in powers he doesn't fully comprehend
Agree, that's why I hate Zane in the show with how high and mighty he acts because he never lost a duel in duel academy and how harshly he treats his brother for not being a good duelist instead of helping him become better as a result destroying syrus confidence as a duelist but at the end of the day Zane only got by because he had a over powering (at the time) arc type that no one else had and if he didn't had the cyber dragons he wouldn't have been as good as he was in Canon, he barely had any skills outside of the cyber dragons plays a fact that was proven when he lost to Aster Phoenix after Zane graduated from duel academy.
I really really like the Cyber Dragon Archetype and this Video about it ( Probably because zane is my Favorite Character from the Show xD) However There is a Minor Mistake Cyber Dragon Zwei which is not Translated to Three but for Two the Same Goes for the other Version Drei = Three not Four Vier = Four and not five
As someone that knows German I would like to say the Zwei means Two, Drei is Three and Vier is Four. While I'm at it Herz means Heart in German. That's all
I love the design of Cyber Valley, because of the flesh. It shows that, if you’re German Scientist theory is true, he played around with the idea of biorganic machinery, which is actually a cool idea for a parody archetype!
Literally just bought the cyber dark structure. That's because I found this shop in Liverpool called Greek Retreat. Yugioh cards, digimon, pokemon etc. How amazing is that. Instead of online there's a shop of yugioh cards.
As a loyalist to Cyber Dragon core and loves this deck as if it was my own child. i think its time for me to shine, to tell you who the cards truly are.
I love how metal the story for the cyber dragon is. In lore the blue eyes is a legendary nigh unstoppable creature, rivaling the gods and along comes this german guy and things yeah imma match that. Then starts to build super weapons
In my opinion the alternate artworks of cyber dragon and cyber end dragon were based upon the episode where chancellor shepherd uses cyber shadow gardna to copy cyber dragon and cyber end dragon which could also be the reasoning as to why there aren't other alternate artworks in a similar darker style.
love your channel. i stopped playing tbh before the anime ended zexal. ive been playing master duelsince it dropped and tbh all the new styles since then are kinda overwelming. online play rn is less fun because im spending so much time learning everything post xys. honestly man would really appreicate how modern yugioh is played. cause i grew up honestly youd do 2-5 max per ter but now online its like imm waiting 2-4 mins before they end thier turn and idk if just me but sometime my jaw is just open as i accept everything that is happening for the next two minutes. idk if you can do this but i love how you explain things maybe do a a episode or a series but more for old school player return to the game. i just built a master duel deck around cyber dragon so legit this video came at the best time. keep up the hard work ty for the time and energy you spend on every video you fans notice it and we thank you for it. keep it up love the channel
Let there be a Cyber Ogre 3, Konami! Also, hoping the Cyberdarks can get a few more main deck monsters. Also calling out to the Konami Universe for 2 Cyberdark Link monsters.
When I came back to yugioh at the tail end of 2021, Cyber Dragons were my first deck I made. I ended up dropping them and, now, settled for Swordsoul. A deck I think is Leagues better than Cydra.

@@Ronald_Ruck you can make äüö with every keyboard its just a bit more difficult than normal since you need to use a key combination with "
"Zwei" is german for two, "Drei" for three, "Vier" for four
Cool video
9:20 Eltanin means The Dragon in Arabic and it is a reference to the star Constellation "Gamma Draconis" which also appears in the card "Born from Draconis".
I'm still not over how Cyber Dragons are neither Cyberse nor Dragons
And that Jinzo {Psycho Shocker} is not a Psychic!
Their themes simply fit these types
I know that the two types came out later but they can be errated
I love how he posted it in between both of his streams
Chimeratech Rampage Dragon and Infinity are by far the best monsters in the archetype.
Get on master duel
Imagine how better Zane's deck would've been in the anime if he had the latest support😵
He would be unbeatable lol
The Cyber dragons are such a cool archetype.
I love Cyber dragon nova design Has the Reflector unit and the photon generator unit on its design .
Cyber dragon get better with every time and upgrade as well.
I love when Duel Logs and TGS upload on the same day!
All we need now is a cyber dragon synchro monster
Honestly because of the Cyber Dragons and Heros, we have archetypes and major special summoning mechanics that forever chenged the game as we know it. Little did Konami realize how powerful they would become.
Ah yes, Cyber Dragon.
My favorite YGO card of all time.
Take a shot every time he says "cyber" 🍺
Cyber Eltanin is for late games like mosly of Cyber Chimera lines.
I love the way that the next form of the cyber dragons have their names numbered like real world machines.
"This card is treated as blue eyes white dragon while on the field or graveyard"
Just an idea guys...
@7:14
zwei means 2 though.
Drei = 3,
Vier = 4
if there was a Cyber dragon 5, it would be Fünf.
Or Nachster the first of the NEXT generation :)
One of my favorite archetypes ever ❤️❤️❤️
I actually can't wait for more support in the future, its still a good rogue deck overall only needing a handful of non cyber dragon cards minus fusion card related stuff, only about 12 in total max still decent synergy with each other
Very cool design cards. I enjoyed the video. Good work on the video.
Great Video and greetings from germany :) I realy enjoy your archetype videos.
As a little hint
I guess the order is different and nachster is the last cyber dragon.
Zwei = 2
Drei = 3
Vier = 4
There has been a little missunderstanding :D
But still Keep up the good work :D
Still surprised there isn't a Blue Eyes Cyber Dragon or a Red Eyes Cyberdark Dragon
This video has given me a better understanding of the Cyber dragons
Archfiend Archetype next😈💀
Best archetype ever created... Even it's user was built to be the most powerful dueslit ever, in the manga he has never lost and was unstoppable. Zane is the GOAT lmao
Cyber End Dragon and Cyberdark Dragons are so cool
Herz = german for "heart"
zwei = german for "two", not "three"
drei = german for "three", not "four"
vier = german for "four", not "five"
Sieger = german for "winner"
Alredy commented, but I love the lore behind the evolution of Cyber Dragons
You have the defenseless core and the lackluster Prototype , followed by 1.0 and its varioations ( Laser and Reflector) , then having its shell replaced with a weaker, but sleaker and more efficient version in the form of Zwei, Drei and Vier and eventually getting to stuff like the Nova and Eternity variants
It genuenly feels like a creator trying his damndest to continously improve upon his creation, to the point he starty dabbling in powers he doesn't fully comprehend
This is why I think Zane isn't a "strong" duelist because he has a unique archetype that flows into itself well
Agree, that's why I hate Zane in the show with how high and mighty he acts because he never lost a duel in duel academy and how harshly he treats his brother for not being a good duelist instead of helping him become better as a result destroying syrus confidence as a duelist but at the end of the day Zane only got by because he had a over powering (at the time) arc type that no one else had and if he didn't had the cyber dragons he wouldn't have been as good as he was in Canon, he barely had any skills outside of the cyber dragons plays a fact that was proven when he lost to Aster Phoenix after Zane graduated from duel academy.

@@jourdanfarquharson4697 thanks
FINALLY I'VE WAITED!
At least the old video is still up... (fingers crossed). Edit: Zwie (Zvai) is German for 2 & Drei is German for 3
Cyber Dragons have always been my favorite. Along with Ryo/Zane who used them
I really really like the Cyber Dragon Archetype and this Video about it ( Probably because zane is my Favorite Character from the Show xD)
However There is a Minor Mistake
Cyber Dragon Zwei which is not Translated to Three but for Two the Same Goes for the other Version
Drei = Three not Four
Vier = Four and not five
Yeah no wonder why ur pfp is literally zane xD
As someone that knows German I would like to say the Zwei means Two, Drei is Three and Vier is Four. While I'm at it Herz means Heart in German. That's all
Sorry, you have made a little Mistake:
"Zwei" = Two
"Drei" = Three
"Vier" = Four
Greetings,
a german guy :)
Thank you at least you do your research better
Power bond with limiter removal and defusion is a classic OTK
I'm honestly hoping we get a Valley, Kirin, and Phoenix retrain as pendulum monsters. That's the only summoning criteria this archetype needs left.
What about synchro summons?
Love it! Cyber dragons are the coolest.
I love the design of Cyber Valley, because of the flesh. It shows that, if you’re German Scientist theory is true, he played around with the idea of biorganic machinery, which is actually a cool idea for a parody archetype!
Great vid Sam 👍
Phalanx Pike is a great equip spell for thid archtype, the equiped monster gains 900 atk for each monster in the grave with the same name.
I love this archtype so much it along with my slifer deck are my favorite decks to play
Literally just bought the cyber dark structure. That's because I found this shop in Liverpool called Greek Retreat. Yugioh cards, digimon, pokemon etc. How amazing is that. Instead of online there's a shop of yugioh cards.
Uff Thanks you!! One the best archetype!!! In duel links ruled and now in MASTER DUEL!!!
THE EPIC OUROBOROS. THAT IS A INSCRYPTION REFERENCE.
After two decades its still standing strong. No one will ever scoff at the cyber dragons as long as the game stands.
I’ve been waiting for this one. Cyber dragons is my favorite deck.
Watching your videos are er school brightens my day
In my opinion the alternate artworks of cyber dragon and cyber end dragon were based upon the episode where chancellor shepherd uses cyber shadow gardna to copy cyber dragon and cyber end dragon which could also be the reasoning as to why there aren't other alternate artworks in a similar darker style.
Love the cyber dragons so much i got 2 cyber decks felt sad when zane died he was the best chill character
10:27 I have always wondered what the BGM there is. Does anyone have an idea!

@@TGSAnime thank you for the response :)
Glad to see I’m not the only person playing this deck in Duel Links
love your channel. i stopped playing tbh before the anime ended zexal. ive been playing master duelsince it dropped and tbh all the new styles since then are kinda overwelming. online play rn is less fun because im spending so much time learning everything post xys. honestly man would really appreicate how modern yugioh is played. cause i grew up honestly youd do 2-5 max per ter but now online its like imm waiting 2-4 mins before they end thier turn and idk if just me but sometime my jaw is just open as i accept everything that is happening for the next two minutes. idk if you can do this but i love how you explain things maybe do a a episode or a series but more for old school player return to the game. i just built a master duel deck around cyber dragon so legit this video came at the best time. keep up the hard work ty for the time and energy you spend on every video you fans notice it and we thank you for it. keep it up love the channel
That awesome me to has Zane deck too.☺️👍
