- I know it's been a long time coming, but here is my Machinedramon Deck profile for the Digimon TCG 2024 Nationals!!!
And since this deck profile did take a while to come out I have decided to include the UPDATEs to my list in the sets moving forward...

Just wanted to mention that De-Digivolve is actually the third best form of removal. There´s also the "Bagra Touch" that´s easily the best form of removal in the game, then DP- and then De-Digivole. :)
With us having more and more digimon with protection or effects that happen when it is removed in any way, I want to say that has gone down to 3rd compared to dp- and de-digi
@@Vyse505 Yeah but most protection effects in the game that protect against the Bagra Touch also protect against DP.
Actually, I´ve changed my mind. De-Digivolution is stronger than DP- by quite a bit because it bypasses protection/triggers from being removed from the field.
So I´d say 1. De-Digivolve, 2. Bagra Touch and 3. DP-
r@@christianvo382 I rate dp- minus higher due to those protection only lasting for the turn we have more dp- that last till the end of Opponent's turn

As a fellow machinedramon cultist i am pleased to see you keep toping with machinedramon.
I OTKed or turnstealed so many games with the OTK combo. It catches way to many people by suprise. It is really enjoyable.

I love Machinedramon! It’s honestly the first deck I was dedicated to build. Still tinkering with some builds. Right now I have a purple based engine that synergies with DemiMeramon for trash and draw power. Massive difference right now is I don’t play BT 11 Machinedramon, but instead 2 or 3 copies of MegaGargomon.
Faced this deck way too many times to count mans always got the pieces within the first 3 turns never been able to get rid of his body/bodies his machine build a real menace for sure especially with the new “support” coming out, it’s gonna gain collision soon

A fellow machinedramon fan I see.
I was playing a similar list back in bt13, but I slowly changed it and it seems like I lost the way because back then and even in early bt14 format I was able to win a lot, but yellow vaccine constantly ruined my day, and I stopped having faith in the machines. I then tried different builds, on play ones, evo ones, mixing rookies and testing with different lvl 4 but not a single one seemed to work. I tried the ukko purple base one and it felt even worse, if you don’t see an uko you’re basically playing a weaker version of the on play one.
I’ll give my old list a try again, I’ll have to figure out better ratios, and I hope I can make it work again. I read your comments and I agree on the supreme connection point, although it sounds amazing in theory, it just never feels as good as I wish it felt. Something about that card is really off. I don’t know what it is, but it just doesn’t feel right.
I’m gonna try cutting it off entirely. I was running 3 memo, 2 trainings and 3 supreme connection, and although it was consistent in finding the pieces I needed, it never felt fast.

I enjoy talking about how useful megadramon is against certain tamer-focused decks and you then immediately show 2 tamers that it *can't* pop due to playcost lol. I've personally not had issues vs machinedramon playing hunters due to relative speed/consistency generally allowing for killing the machinedramon player before they can start to get those counters up. ofc, my opponents probably haven't topped a regional with machinedramon, so I'm probably underrating it :P

Digging the Machinedramon decklist. One thing I'm confused with, though, is using the tamer popping Megadramon. It pops play cost three but manynof those Hunters and Hybrid tamers showed were four cost. Is there a way to pop them I'm missing.
Oh not a problem, the tamers shown were just to represent what deck they are, for matchups:
Red Hybrid - we pop the warp takuya which REALLY sets them far back in terms of their explosive plays
Hunters - we pop Taiki (with extreme prejudice) or watchmaker as high priority targets otherwise we just pop the cost 3 tamers that are of the varying color (ex: if they have a Tagiru and bt10 amino Yuu on field I likely won't bother killing yuu because they have 2 purple tamers on board)
I never gave up on the machines, ive been playing it a bit diffrent though with a red base to draw more from my rookies.

I just prefer the flexibility of an evo build, and with bt11 machine I never felt I was lacking card draw
(Plus the rise of Digimon emperor as a staple makes other bases alot harder to play with imo)

@jamesss1118 I get quite close pretty often and when I do I often just win right there cause then I have access to every tool in my deck~

honestly with new toolbox collision effect really want to see you test it with gigadra ex7 collision and bt18trailmon and new cannonbeemon~ delete by battle~
i heard alot of anbuismon and levimon, aka ex6 and bt15 decks, how is machine doing vs magnamon X ?
A very fair question to ask, this was catered to those formats after all!
I'd probably find room for adding more power gainers in the deck (like bt6 megadra) and we should be able to run over the MagnaX
As well as a pre-emptive turn end with bt11 ex1 machine combo we can probably mess up their turn before they can reproc the digivolving effect~
Question, the RB1 HoverEspimon. Is it worth running? I’ve seen a few list run it
I think it has more merit once we cyberdramon ACE
Otherwise id prefer the trailmon from bt17 instead

I've mentioned it in another comment, but personally I've never been a fan of the purple base only because it's extremely linear in its gameplan and is quite easy to Counter (Digimon Emperor and/or memory flood gates)
But I definitely acknowledge it's strength so if you like that build more I can understand it ~

I don't think Machinedra wants cheap ultimates so much as it's wants cyborgs(and to an extent machines) with good inheritables. I don't think it's bad card for machine, but I feel it's in competition with a lot of cyborgs.
Despite Rapidmon been a cheaper LVL5

The problem machine is having now is just how many decks are running de-digivolve. D brigade just got it, Diaboromon just got it, nume can have it…Machinedramon needs a lvl 6 that can’t be de-digivolved!

Someone in the comments of this video said he tried the ukkomon base and when you dont open with ukkomon in hand it felt awful.
@@Larus_Kamome Feels especially worst when you draw into ukko late game too.
Not sure if I agree with the Dorumon for the fact that if you want the protection from commandra and high command you either need to hard play the Dorumon or either command, and raise from breeding to have the protection active. I’d rather play 4 lv 3 commandra so that way your not having to hard play a doru or high to have protection active and wiff from search or pass turn with not much
Something to also keep in mind is we can tuck those protection effects via bt11 or bt12 Chaos X through out the course of a game
Hence why I felt comfortable at the amount I played, and whenever I felt an effect like bt14 angemon coming I'd slam a hi command or commandra for free and it didn't feel bad at all, otherwise I'd just save it~

Hey, wait, you said that bt7 dorumon would give enough memory to digivolve ex3 chaosdramon "for 3 or either for free", but it doesn't seem to actually work that way. The only rulings i could find online (assuming the digimon card game wiki uses official rulings) for bt7 dorumon directly contradict that by saying "regardless of how many sources are added, you still only gain 1 memory", as well as being limited to once per turn. Did you get different rulings at the event or did no judge ever even mention the interaction/nobody caught it?
Oh no, what I mean by that is you can either digivolve into a ex3 Chaosdramon for:
3 - because you are paying the full cost of 4 and gaining a memory
Or
0 - digivolving from machinedramon for 1 and then gaining the 1 back from Bt7 Doru

Ah I've honestly never felt the need for it, on paper it feels really good but it benefits of the 'hardplay' play style more than the evo playstyle
Everytime I got that card I'd rather see a search spell (mem boost/training) instead
With the OTK Combo I never had a need to setup/have a supreme connection
(Also I hate that it doesn't let me choose to send the revealed cards to bottom deck)
@@B3NB3NTTVI was using it more for searching than for the hardplay plan. You reveal 5, trash something, add something, and you put the rest in top how you like.
But the issue i ran into was, if i reveal 5 and i dont like what i see, i have to get along with those cards for a while, and that results more in tempo loss that felt bad. I will try to use memory boost again.
Ah i see this is the stack build but then again you level 4 and level 3 is very2 low count. Weirdly enough that you dont use ukkomon engine and supreme connection option card as well
Supreme doesn’t do much for Evo build machine, it shines brightest in hardplay build!
@@jamesss1118 agree but kinda have to admit this playstyle and the evo builld which highly depend on level 3 and 4 being minimal is super2 gatcha hame at this point

Tried this deck 32 times, terrible starting hands most games, search options revealed more options and lvl6s when I didn't need them. Never was able to use the D-Brigade inherit, I would go 3-4 turns without seeing a lvl5 often.
