Been looking for an in-depth and clear playthrough tutorial and it didn't disappoint, probably the best one out there, im new and kinda knew the game a little bit , there's still some stuff im confused about(never played any tcg game including Yu-Gi-Oh, got into optcg just because im an op fan), but you really explained it well thank you
Great playthrough, informative and loved that you repeated the steps and processes along with showing the physical actions you do with the cards (turn to the side etc). Many thanks 👍
personally the best tutorial I have seen in regards to learn OP TCG, not minimizing the others since I watched like 5 more tutorials before this but by the way I learn by watching someone actually playing the game this helps a lot, plus the previous experience from the last 5 videos, thanks bro!
I got my first cards yesterday and now that I know this I can continue learning on the tcg game because I was stuck at a curtain spot due to not knowing how to play properly so this info really helps me thanks
A pretty solid explanation, to both sides, and disable jamble made me laugh a ton xddddd Also damn luffy used power of friendship, the opening song and a back story with all those dons at the end
DISABLE JAMBLE! I'm going to say that every time I play it now haha. Great tutorial, I loved this. Interesting being taught by someone who doesn't even watch the anime. When Sanji attacks he says like French type stuff.
@@mojobreakgaming4121 haha diable jumbe :D Actually very fun and lucky that red drew this card here and comeback the game with it! Did you planned that for the video or was it the destiny or luffy :D?
This was super informative and I really needed this. I've been wanting to get back into Magic, but I haven't played in over 25 years, saw this and wanted to give it a go being a OP fan. Was kind of confused by other videos I saw, and you were super clear and repeated everything instead of skimming over it.
As a one piece fan , I only buy these cards for collecting purposes 😅.. Plus I don't know anyone around me who is into tcg or stuff like that .. Thanks to you now I know how to play this game even tho I'm never gonna 😅
this tutorial is great. I played magic for years and it was hard for me to comprehend the battle phase with each character swinging on its on instead of declaring them all at once. Excited to try this game. Any suggestions on getting started? Starter deck, or a linear deck I can pick up to get some reps in?
lol disable jamble, but this video was great!! I’ve just been collecting the cards because the art is pretty but I really wanna try playing locally ! This was helpful to really understand how to play this game
What a fun strategy warfare anime game, to the grand line for the treasures. It seems like a good interact learn as you go gameplay strategy and warfare turn for turn good thing for turn turn restrictions. Weiss schwarz and onepiece tcg are fun to learn and play thank you for the step by step instructions tutorial
I’ve been playing this game for a while and watching this I’ve realised many many mistakes I’ve been making with the game 😂😂😂. I’m in the middle of pausing and voice messaging my mates who I play with on the correct rules 😂.
This was such a good tutorial! I only have one doubt though. When you use your counters like jinbe to buff your characters or leaders you have to discard them or attach them?
sir, you just got a new subscriber. Really appreciate all the efforts you put to give us such a datailed video showing cards effects, rules and strategies. Amazing job and cant wait to check all your videos. Im new to the game trying to get cards and play for fun this helped me a loooot. THANK YOU
I appreciate you goin through the whole game like that really helped a newbie like myself. Signed up for some tourneys this month so let’s see how I do!
I love this game, especially the don system....but I'm just not all that into the One-Piece show. But maybe with playing the game, it'll get me to watch the show
I learned so much. Since my brain is slow. You read some cards wrong it threw me off a little, but I was able to recover. I don't think anyone else would have been thrown off. I gots bad ADHD so my brain fixates on things I actually cannnot find. When you said Love Love Mellow, the card was Love Love Beam. Very minor, but again this is just me. Other than some weird phrasing on other parts, this is the best tutorial..8/10. Even the official tutorial is more confusing. As for questions, what does the type bubble on the top right part of a character mean? Right next to how much power a character or leader has?
Definitely thinking about learning to play, maybe share some vids of me and wife battling on our channel. Idk yet tho, dbs still has our hearts. Great tutorial 🔥🔥
Great video. The game appears to be solid in terms of design, not sure if I prefer it over the Dragon Ball Super or Digimon ones tho. Definitely don't find the One Piece theme appealing sadly.
Great video man, definitely helped new beginners like me for sure. Question! I noticed around 22 mins into your video, all the life cards were taken away and you continued playing. So even after all life cards are gone the leader still has 1 remaining life for you to take away for you to win the game? Hope you can explain. thanks
By the way. I'm getting the Red Luffy deck, 2 in fact to get 4 of each card, do you have suggestion on how to tweak the deck to make it a little more competitive?
Bro thank you so much I’ve seen tutorials even in my mother language and I didn’t understand 😂 But u explained very clearly I have a question tho: If it’s my turn how many times can I attack my enemy? Is there a limit or I can attack whatever I want? Cuz I feel like I can attack the leader until they don’t have more cards and the I win ? Sorry I think I’m still confused but please explain 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Also…if there’s a blocker card effect with the effect on block saying “ you may add one card from the top or bottom of your life cards to your hand” and that card happens to have a trigger effect. Would that initiate the trigger effect or it won’t count since it wasn’t triggered by an attack? If that makes sense 😅
Hi. Best video on One piece i ever seen. I have 2 questions about rules. If a character like kid has on main one per turn ability to rest 3 don and become active after an attack, that means he can attack again because is active again? Or the rules says you can attack just once with a leader or character no matter if you can make it active or not ? Second ,if a drew a card like guard point frim my life area in my hand ,i can use it on the next attack my opponent declare as a counter ? Or i can play just my triggers on that turns ? Because how would my opponent knew i draw that counter from life area or was in my hand already ? Just asking. And 3 rd for now ,from what i have seen ,your characters attacked opponent rested characters..is this an obligation? I mean if my opponent have rested characters i must use my character first to destroy them and just after i am able to attack the opponent leader with my characters?( I already saw that at leader it doesn't work that way coz you used luffy 14k attack to directly destroy sandman skipping over the rested characters. So sort ,i ask if o can use all my characters to attack opponent leader even if they have rested characters on field . And keep up the good work
He used the Jinbe to increase the power of the crocodile, so it wouldn’t die. You can use the blocker without using cards with “counter” but it would’ve been KO’d
i bought a bunch of random boosters in target but they weren't starter packs, can i still play with those? or is it gonna be a lot harder, also can you play with OP-01 and OP-05 cards in the same deck or does it have to be from the same one?
i'm a bit confused. When during the opponent's turn and the opponent attack with their character. When we succesfully defend and counter their attack with our characters/leader. Will that minus their leader's life card/characters? Or does it just to block their attack ? And during the early phase, when their leader choose to buff their damage to "X" number and decided to attack our leader and we counter them with more than their leader damage, does that minus their leader life card ?
Yo dude, i was wondering if you have any thoughts on what to buy when you want to get into the game? Starter sets seem obvious, but what booster packs should one go for etcetera? :)
18:10 how does crocodile attack when its the same turn he was played? isnt that against the rules -what does the icon next to the x000 power of a monster mean? (slash/strike/...) -can leaders be attacked altough theres characters in front of him (that arent blockers)? -do cards keep the strength buff of don cards under them until the end of same turn or until your next refresh phase? -would you ever attack an enemy rested character that has no relevent effect and like 2000 strength (since it blocks 20% of enemy character area)?
"reducing enemy card cost". I know some other cards combo with this to delete low cost cards, however, is there any relation to their cost and their atk or life points? Thanks
Is there a limit to how many counter character cards you can put on your character or leader if they’re getting attacked or is it “as much as you want if you have any counter characters in your hand?”
The game seems like a mix between magic and pokemon. Too bad all the starters decks are sold out, and the upcoming next starter deck has maxed pre-orders. Meh. I will try it though, once im able. Edit: Yes i've learned. How to play, and... where money?

That maplestory music in the bg so gaaaaas
i just want you to know that i’ve been struggling to figure out how to properly play this game, but this video helped so much.

Just started getting into the tcg. Watched several tutorials but this one was the mostly helpful! Thank you!!
Just getting into OP TCG. Amazing video, your explanation makes the game look pretty easy and really fun! Thanks!
DISABLE JAMBLE! I'm going to say that every time I play it now haha. Great tutorial, I loved this. Interesting being taught by someone who doesn't even watch the anime. When Sanji attacks he says like French type stuff.
you can tell he don't watch the anime disable jamble🤣
Definitely do not! 😂 I watch Digimon. That is all haha
@@mojobreakgaming4121 haha diable jumbe :D
Actually very fun and lucky that red drew this card here and comeback the game with it!

It’s ok we all start somewhere I called deku a bush when I first watched it and luffy laffy

M:TG had added 719,011,552 new rules. It’s unrecognizable lol.
Nice! That's a lot of interaction. I like it! Learned a lot! Thanks.😁
I love the counter system. It leaves your leader less exposed to attacks, but the downside can suck if you have a good card in your hand.
Great tutorial. I’m only a couple days into the game, but this is the best breakdown I’ve seen so far. Thanks!
this was super good tutorial ty good vid
This was PERFECT tutorial video. Can you do another one with the Current Meta?
Great video! I want to start the TCG and this tutorial was insanely helpful! Thank you very much!
As a one piece fan , I only buy these cards for collecting purposes 😅..
Plus I don't know anyone around me who is into tcg or stuff like that ..
Thanks to you now I know how to play this game even tho I'm never gonna 😅
Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been floundering so much trying to figure out how to play and this helped SO MUCH!!
This is really helpful and your use of the basic play area sheet that comes in the starter decks was a great touch. Thank you!
I came to learn how to play One piece but I stayed for the Maplestory cash shop BGM
Love this video , the first video that finally helped me understand the game
Thanks! It was good to see an actual game explained.

The pov of both players
But cant get that maplestory music out my head now
I love this game, especially the don system....but I'm just not all that into the One-Piece show. But maybe with playing the game, it'll get me to watch the show
Great job! The game seems interesting.
Can you do one for TerraFyte next?
One of the best videos out there! Thanks!
nice maplestory cashshop music
great video. thanks so much dude

good video
Nice explanatory video - really helpful!
Wow!!🎉🎉 the 1st video that made sense to me.
That was great
Thank you
Amazing guide all the other ones were a bit confusing still thank you!
By the way. I'm getting the Red Luffy deck, 2 in fact to get 4 of each card, do you have suggestion on how to tweak the deck to make it a little more competitive?
best tutorial
Any other attacks being made...its not like magice battle phase are done one at a time they dont need to declare all at once
Really helpful content! Thank you
Awesome Video! Good pace and well explained! 👍
Hey this is super helpful! Thank you so much
We’ll done yes 🙌
Great tutorial. Thanks for doing this.
This really helped
Thanks for the video, do cards with a trigger effect go to the trash after using their trigger effect?
Bro thank you so much
I’ve seen tutorials even in my mother language and I didn’t understand 😂
But u explained very clearly
I have a question tho:
If it’s my turn how many times can I attack my enemy? Is there a limit or I can attack whatever I want?
Cuz I feel like I can attack the leader until they don’t have more cards and the I win ?
Sorry I think I’m still confused but please explain 🙏🏻🙏🏻
W mans fr
Good video thanks!
Thanks a lot!!
Why did blue attack the crew and not the leader directly while he was put of cards in hand to block? Could have taken out more life that way right?
This game is an interesting mix between Vanguard and Digimon
Sounds like maple story
24:17 so you killed sanji and he goes into the grave? But what about taking one of the life cards? What’s the difference?
Great tutorial thank you
Really good tutorial
Also…if there’s a blocker card effect with the effect on block saying “ you may add one card from the top or bottom of your life cards to your hand” and that card happens to have a trigger effect. Would that initiate the trigger effect or it won’t count since it wasn’t triggered by an attack? If that makes sense 😅
Why didnt you sometimes use the free buff from nami and luffy active on your attacks?
Could the Warlords hand have used the Crocodile blocker to make itself the target of that final 14k attack from the luffy leader? Or am I just stupid?
the diable jambe card at 26:00 prevents that
did you choose the maplestory cash shop bgm because this game is expensive?
Hi. Best video on One piece i ever seen. I have 2 questions about rules. What does the staw hat crew type mean? You said to notice it but never what it meant lol
20:36 I have a question - why did you use the Jinbe? Can you not use the blocker card without increasing its power because its a block?
He used the Jinbe to increase the power of the crocodile, so it wouldn’t die. You can use the blocker without using cards with “counter” but it would’ve been KO’d

What does resting cards mean and the purpose?? Why rest don?
May I ask why the last round Crocodile can't block the attack from MDLuffy?
Red played "Diable Jambe" at 26:10 , which prevents blue from activating any blockers during the turn.
at 20:43 should the On Block effect go off?
very helpful doe
❤

Why didn’t u attack with the other guys for 3 attacks total??

Leader crocodile attacked not the character that was played
Don power boost is only on your turn
"reducing enemy card cost". I know some other cards combo with this to delete low cost cards, however, is there any relation to their cost and their atk or life points? Thanks
Is there a limit to how many counter character cards you can put on your character or leader if they’re getting attacked or is it “as much as you want if you have any counter characters in your hand?”
Now tell me how to play Icebug xd
My head is in bits
The game seems like a mix between magic and pokemon.
Too bad all the starters decks are sold out, and the upcoming next starter deck has maxed pre-orders. Meh.
I will try it though, once im able.
Edit: Yes i've learned. How to play, and... where money?
So both players can’t attack on their first turn?
How many cards in a deck? leaders can only use same colors?
Looks like you skipped the draw phase on the red player's second turn
