Music has the great power to sway your brain away.... And into the dark screens. of reality. ... And find the music.. That fits your soul ...... And upon there you shall find Pink Floyd...... With arms open wide.... to embrace your mind...... Into tomorrow.... And throw your mind ...... ........ Hungry silos in the field......Into despair ......... To a great find...of false imagined realities............ Thank you and Godspeed...... This was a great link I was sent.... Hope you enjoy my other words as inspiration here ....... Keep going.....Don't fall down.... You might not get up..... Whatever you do don't get old......... I wish I could go back .... Be young again...and be an audience member.... For just one show....
The band was formed in 1965 in Cambridge, UK. Hope you listen to the entire Dark Side of the Moon album. David Gilmour is the lead singer/lead guitarist.
Happy belated 4/20+😁😎 Whatever it cost to go to that concert was worth it.🤑 I had a great uncle who ultimately lived 112 years. When I was in high school he told me that living a long time was like taking one day away for every year you live. Now that I'm 62 it makes perfect sense. (non-sequitur)
"Comfortably Numb", the PULSE Concert. One of the best concert performances ever recorded. If you're reviewing PF songs in the future, and there's a PULSE version, react to that version. The PULSE Concert was a breathtaking experience, every song, all night long~and I know, I was there.
Name David Gilmore. You must know where they came from so would you please do Pink Floyd Echos live in Pompeii (1971). I am now 74 and been with Pink Floyd since 1968 still listen to them at least once week Please and thanks!!!
Ironic that you said this has a very American Rock sound considering Dark Side of The Moon was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London the same studio where the Beatles iconic Abbey Road album was recorded.
Little kids can learn to play that solo, but behind it is a genius composer songwriter bass guitarist called Roger Waters who is the target of Jewish media because he and his recent band do not wanted to give a concert in Tel Aviv.
You went your own way with this song and that was nice.,..., it's a Merry-Go-Round of music in your mind........... To unshyguy.... You never could step off the board.... Could not turn around...... And face the water below. ........ Desperately..... Breathing for no Air...... That does not exist....... In a vacuum........ With life cannot persist................ Here are some good lyrics for you LOL.... You're a great inspiration to the unheard ears....... Follow life into tomorrow......... And grab hold of only sorrow.
I'm an Australian the best music for the last 50; yrs has come out of England even today great music I could name 200 great bands at least Americans are great and the best at a lot of things music isn't one of them
For me this song is like a anthem!!
Definitely a classic
One of my favorite classics 😊😊
Their album Dark Side of the Moon remained in the Billboard 200 albums chart for 736 nonconsecutive weeks (from 17 March 1973 to 16 July 1988).
Not only spent 736 weeks on billboard, but printed in gold with other artists and scientists voice and send up in space. Still flying!
If you haven’t already you really must react to “ comfortably numb” from the pulse concert. It contains the best guitar solo ever. IMO
Fil, goose bumps, still since 1973 and every year to come. It's a timeless classic.
#QcumberSquad #PinkFloyd - Fil, I'm off back to the study.

Great song and one of my favorite songs together with The great gig in the sky from the album Dark side of the moon.
David Gilmour is the lead vocalist and lead guitar player in this.
Comfortably Numb...same Pulse concert 1994 it's a must

The drums at the beginning are called Roto-Toms & can be tuned by turning the drum head…that’s why the sound is so tight…🤘

Pretty certain it cost £28 a ticket. I was at Earls Court.

You're the best👌. Kind regards ❤
Nice reaction mate, such a great band too, but just to be precise they were originally from the 1960's, and they are English, not American.
Thanks very much. Really appreciate it. 🙂

Next one from Pulse concert 1994 - Coming Back to Life = 3 good guitar solo ., 🎸🎸🎸🎶🎶
I think it’s time for Comfortably Numb…but you can’t pause during the 5 minute guitar solo 😂
Little kids can learn to play that solo, but behind it is a genius composer songwriter bass guitarist called Roger Waters who is the target of Jewish media because he and his recent band do not wanted to give a concert in Tel Aviv.

Pause a Gilmour solo and you crash the starship and leave us lost in another dimension of time and space.
I very much enjoyed your reaction. And you should know that these gents are Brits ... not Americans.
Classic ‘American’ rock sound???…errr NO…they are English…the sound is all their own…
Sorry man. My bad. 🤦
@@trakticianall good man. But I’m sure we’ll all agree that Pink is in a league of their own, regardless of where they’re from…
If you can remember the names John Paul George and Ringo..... You can remember one more famous biblical name...... David,.............. David Gilmour
lolol, stop stopping
Comparing the Pink FLoyd sound to American rock is probably the worst thing you can say about it! ;)
Sacrilege talking over or PAUSING a David Gilmour solo,...
One way to instantly increase your IQ is to stop talking. Try it, you will be surprised by the results. American rock sound, my as…
